I had been using Sim Dashboard which is still pretty decent for what it is but I just picked this software up today and the difference is night and day. I was a a little skeptical at first given the price of the software but it's 100% worth it! Within 5 mins I had my g1000 set up and working with flight sim, the fact that it just works out the box is fantastic and has saved me a massive headache trying to design my own and having to figure out all the simconnect commands etc Sim dash is still good for button presses so now I have Air manager on a 14" touch screen with the g1000 panels and flaps and I have sim dash running the lighting switches and Master/Avionics switches on a tablet. Although I do like the panel you're using in this video, having access to everything... I might just have to shell out another 10 bucks to get that one and I can free up my tablet for navigraph haha!
Finally spluged for air manager recently. Im using a 14 inch monitor as my comm/radio/transponder/ap stack and a touch screen tablet as my GPS unit. I stay in cockpit view for all the critical instruments as I find it breaks immersion when youre not in cockpit view (unless you literally build a cockpit sim) Air managers expensive but it certainly gets the job done.
Is there a way to click all or a bunch or instruments and change the size on a relative basis to each other so they all change together and the same size?
Have you use the Aspen Avionics? From air manager for Xplane 12? It has not been going well for me:( I’m getting this error “ON BAT 80%REM” and it will shutdown once it’s 0%😢
Thanks for sharing your experience Could you please share which model of touchscreen that you are using and also size Do you recommend a specific model for touchscreen also the size Best Regards From Sweden 🇸🇪
I use 2 asus 21" touch under 3x32" lg nano ips monitors. Make sure you have enough room under for yoke. I use sidestick. $200 each. Good luck. I think that is asus in vid.
Ivan good afternoon Ron from San Diego here again. I found the G 1000 on the Microsoft flight simulator under the options heading in the area where the selection of different types of airplanes are located. I download ed it since it was free. Now I don’t know what to do with that download. Can I use the right all key method to place it on my 13 inch touchscreen monitor. Since it is not part of a particular aircraft suite will the knobs t er work for me to practice. What aircraft were you using in the tutorial to pull out thr pfd mfd? Ivan at my age I seam to be learning computers more then brushing up more of my flying and adding glass cockpits. Are you available via telephone to help. Thank you. Ron
I have the problem that if I tap on the tablet, the mouse is also on the tablet. Do you have this problem also ? I have 2 tablets, so to get back to the sim I need to drag the mouse pointer through 2 tablets back to the main monitor.. Any hints/help appreciated!
There’s really no way to do that without effectively redesigning an entirely new panel in Photoshop. I did it, albeit doesn’t look quite as good as the stock panel. It’s not ‘hard’ but doing it certainly requires a little photoshop experience.
Thanks for putting this together. Mind me asking what touch display are you using? One thing missing is your knobster connected to the touch display. How would you get the GTN 650/750 in Air Manager panel? I own Air Manager and both PMS50 and TDS' but I have not seen anyone talk about this. I am evaluating whether I go RealSimGear or Air Manager panel. Thanks for your videos!
The knobster plugs into a USB port on the computer. As far as the 650 and the 750 you have to load reality XP and then use that in conjunction with air manager to get your 750 or 650
Nothing beats hardware! But... you are stuck with it. I can go from a320 panels to Longitude panels in 5 minutes, including controller setup. Always price in knobster, makes the system viable and fast.
I just purchased Air Manager 4 and I have been searching for the premium panels you mentioned (with the 430 and 530 as well as with the G1000). I do not see them. Can you tell me how you accessed those panels? Also, are you running Air Manager on the same computer as your simulator? Thx!
i cannot find these panels either on the Siminnovations website? I see very few Premium Panels in fact? How do I find the G1000 panels for the C172 please?
Greetings Michael, I am going to buy the air manager and I would like to know how I can configure it to work on my android tablet !!! , since I am assembling my homecockpit !!
Yes. Use free pop out manager as well. XP 12 has made great progress. Moving back soon. Streaming is a great feature, exclusive to xp. It is v1.0 and a bit choppy, but next version will use gpu and performance should improve.
Hi Michael, could I get your email address? Im trying to set up my panel on air manager and trying to get the panel to display on a seperate display as in your video and I cant get it done. Instead of here on your channel I was wondering if I could contact you elsewhere? Thank you sir.
Great to see someone else take off like me.

Incredible ultrawide setup! Looks great in cockpit view
would have been nice to let us know just how your doing this and the overview of Air manager not just your personal cockpit?

which touch monitor are you using? and are you using a PC or MAC?

Hi. can you tell me the dimensions of the monitor where you have the panels on? It would help me a lot.
Regards, Tonny I hope you read this message.

Just like everything in the sim world, you have to read the instructions. AM has a wiki. Trying to get info from others is hit and miss.
I cant find this premium panel in AirManager 😪 Is it for Xplane only ?

AM 4.2 fixed focus issue in xp. In msfs use pop out manager.
How do you change the light grey colour of the 172 panel? It's too bright. I prefer it to be darker but can't figure it out.

@@avproductions5184 Thanks for chiming in on this.
@@xforcepc of course. I think I’ve watched enough of y’all’s videos to manage your customer support line. 😂

I have x plane 11. Can this be done?
How do you handle mouse refocus after selecting something on a touch panel? Do you have to scrool all the way up to the main screen each time?
AM 4.2 has fixed focus issue.
Sensacional.
How can I get the white glove service?
That is for customers
Is this already 12.06? Because the clouds look different.
12.05

I am running air manager on the same computer. Look for premium panels for the Cessna 172 to find the one you're referring to.

The Cessna 172SP panel comes with multiple layouts that you do not see until you buy it. ruclips.net/video/U3i3HumtfYo/видео.html

Experimentalsimavionics has great paid panel sets and support. All under $30. Not affiliated.

I believe they do have an android app, but be sure to buy that through the Play Store.
Should I get the knobster?
Yes!!!! The Garmin style inner/outer rotary with push, is a pain to use without knobster.
Does this work with MSFS?
Yes. Use free pop out manager as well. XP 12 has made great progress. Moving back soon. Streaming is a great feature, exclusive to xp. It is v1.0 and a bit choppy, but next version will use gpu and performance should improve.
