The original Jumanji movie was totally different than the second one, and si still worth watching. It starred the late Robin Williams. That, in itself, should be enough to convince you. There was even a nod to the first movie. Alan Parrish, the person mentioned in passing at Seaplane's place, was the main character of the first Jumanji.
The Jumanji revivals are a lot of fun and have big Indiana Jones/The Mummy energy, with a fun video game twist. Alan Parish is a callback to the 90's Jumanji. To think it all started off of a children's storybook, and now has in-jokes between movies. Wild.
I truly respect Dwayne Johnson in his movies. Sure, it's unlikely he'll ever go for an Academy Award, but he is always honest and hard working in what he is asked to do
I loved the first Jumanji as a little kid so much I was very skeptical of these...I couldn't have been more wrong, absolutely hilarious in their own new way. It is good to see the originals as well, so you have some context and appreciation of the stories. It's beautiful and rainy here in Detroit...
I love how Martha/Karen Gillan steals Star Lord's soundtrack and dance moves in the shed scene, while doing Nebula's voice and Nebula's social awkwardness. Possibly my favorite moment in the movie. 😀
The original Jumangi is great! Definitely recommend watching it. Robin Williams is amazing in it, as always. Besides the two very recent movies, there is also another sequel of sorts to the original Jumangi that came out in the early 2000s. It’s called Zathura. It’s the same premise, kids trapped playing a board game, but instead of a jungle, the board game Zathura is based in space. It has Kristin Stewart, pre-Twilight. Not as good as the original or the most recent Jumangi’s, but still a good movie.
I watched this during a holiday at home with the family. It was one of the best holiday decisions we ever made. Because it was a perfect movie to relax with.
The writer who wrote the Jumanji children book also wrote a sci-fi story like this called Zathura and it too was made into a movie years ago. But it's less well known. Still good though. Thanks, you're awesome.
It's great to see your channel growing as quickly as it has been. I always enjoy a new reactor who has a genuine reaction. Probably why channels like yours and Magy's are so well received compared to the rest of the Homies. Keep up the excellent video reactions...and oh yeah, have fun doing it :)
You don't need to see the old one to see this one. The old one had its critics but I thought it was good. The jungle came to the present day in that one and it had Robin Williams in it. I liked your reaction(as usual) on this one.
Absolutely you must watch the first one, with Robin Williams! Yep, that name right there is the only reason you should need to watch anything - Robin Williams!
First of the fall season weather has hit here. Colder with fall rains. The new ones are really fun. The older one was a bit more dark with humor. Still a classic.
I don't know how I missed this when you released it. I agree with those who suggest you watch the first Jumanji. It is significantly different from this movie, but enjoyable in its own right.
Robin Williams is playing the jumanji board game, so it's completely different. The path on the gameboard is visible at least once in welcome to the jungle. Loved your look in this presentation.
I'd say your correct that the 1st movie with Robbin Williams wasn't as well done, however, like any series, it sets a baseline of what happened and what to expect. For instance (spoiler alert) this one as you say is "in the jungle" which was unexpected when it came out since the first one came into the real world and made the immediate area similar to a jungle. BUT there are connections between the two. Later on in this movie you see a camp in the jungle with the name Alan Parrish. As a matter of fact the first movie sets up the whole reason it is the Jungle that this occurs in. The fore knowledge isn't that important to waste 2 hours of your life with, but it would be nice to know the reference going into it.
You should watch the original Jumanji and another Robin Williams movie called "The Fisher King". It is directed by Terry Gilliam who makes some of the deepest weird films you can find. It is basically Don Quixote set in 1990's NYC with Robin playing a homless man who thinks he is on a quest to find the holy grail. It is an amazing movie and a wonderful romance in the long run.
Hi blue! You should absolutly what the old jumanji, that is where it all started. You should see it for yourself atleast, if you like it you like it and if not then atleast you will know. But the old one is my favourite.
This is technically a sequel to the first one as they find Allen Parish's home while he was in jumanji and it also starts where the first one ends but you technically don't have to watch the first one to understand things
Hey Blue, nice to see you again, everything's fine here. Here in Rome the weather is very nice, finally some cold came but the sun still warms you up real nice :) You should definitely react to the original. I was a kid when it got out and it was awesome! Insane for the time. Love your content, wish you the best and may the wind be always at your back.
As a fan of the original I went in with _zero_ expectations and was absolutely _shocked_ by how good it was. Frankly I only watched it out of morbid curiosity. I'm glad I was wrong though. On another note, you should check out some movies by Mel Brooks. I suggest 'Robin Hood Men In Tights' or 'Space Ball's.
I really enjoyed this reaction good job Blue👍🏼👍this movie is good and The actors made great in this one. Did you smell what The bear is coocking??? (The Rock's famous frase) 😀
You have to react to 2 Korean films. “Train to Busan” and “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds.” They’re fan favorites. Highly recommend it. Along with the gods is the 3rd highest grossing film in Korean cinema history. It’s a great movie.
I thought you knew about Jumanji until you called the game an artifact. Anyway, on with your reaction and then I will check your video if you reacted to the original as well. Cheers
"Older version but I think its not as popular". Hahaha, maybe not with the reaction audience, but I promise some millions of people were shit scared this would be an awful remake of a true classic just a couple of years after the death of Robin Williams. Pitch forks were ready to go. You 100% should watch that film. Even if it isn't a reaction, it is brilliant
@@TrixyBlue Yeah, I think this one is a fairly down the middle fun adventure romp. You seemed to think so as well, based on how you closed the video. It's fun, it's a good time, but it's not a particularly memorable watch. Nothing wrong with that, but that's what it is. I think the first is a bit more unique, a bit less of a by-the-numbers adventure. So it's definitely worth watching. I'm not sure you should expedite it or anything, but it should be on your list to watch eventually, at least.
Hello blue I finish watching your reaction to Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle I got to ask I hope you see your mangy in the next level because that one is much funnier trust me you loved it you'll watch it PS I love what you do with your hair every time you do a video looks very interesting and very nice and lovely.
I like these new movies, but they don't hold a candle to the original. Not sure where you heard that it's "not as popular" but should definitely question that source lol. Let me put it this way: The OG Jumanji stars Robin Williams.
Seconded!
Thirded!
The Jumanji revivals are a lot of fun and have big Indiana Jones/The Mummy energy, with a fun video game twist.
Alan Parish is a callback to the 90's Jumanji. To think it all started off of a children's storybook, and now has in-jokes between movies. Wild.

He does seem like a cool, fun fellow. I'd have to say, I have a higher opionon of he himself, than of many of the roles he plays.
He played a nerd quite well.
The bear is so proud of that banana.
Yay someone else noticed the bear and banana!
Definitely have to watch the original "Jumanji" starring Robin Williams.
if you get the chance you should watch the first jumanji its great
I loved the first Jumanji as a little kid so much I was very skeptical of these...I couldn't have been more wrong, absolutely hilarious in their own new way. It is good to see the originals as well, so you have some context and appreciation of the stories. It's beautiful and rainy here in Detroit...
Rainy and humid here too but no sun. I enjoyed this reboot, definitely check out the older one. Robin Williams is amazing.
not a reboot but a sequel ... there is a reference by Nick Jonas character about Alan Parrish at his camp
You need to see the first one. It is imperative! It is essential!! 🤔 It's great flick
I love how Martha/Karen Gillan steals Star Lord's soundtrack and dance moves in the shed scene, while doing Nebula's voice and Nebula's social awkwardness. Possibly my favorite moment in the movie. 😀
Saw this one on theaters and the old one has the late robin Williams in it. Used to rent it on VHS too. Good times
The old Jumanji had Robin William in it and it was really good, something I enjoy when I was a kid. I would love to see you react to it.
If you haven't seen the first Jumanji, Alan Parrish is played by Robin Williams, a true classic movie
15:50 “Oh yeah, that’s like my biggest dream ….” Sigmund Freud would be happy to hear this.
The original Jumangi is great! Definitely recommend watching it. Robin Williams is amazing in it, as always.

the stuffed animal is holding a banana
I watched this during a holiday at home with the family. It was one of the best holiday decisions we ever made. Because it was a perfect movie to relax with.
17:05 This part KILLED ME! The way Trixy was like say what?! And the way he said dumb ass had me dying 🤣😂
The writer who wrote the Jumanji children book also wrote a sci-fi story like this called Zathura and it too was made into a movie years ago. But it's less well known. Still good though. Thanks, you're awesome.
It’s nice to see some people still remember Zathura!
Jack Black found his most perfect role ... a 16 year old girl 🤣
I think this movie is very good, retains some elements of the first one, and expands the universe of Jumanji,
This was much better than i anticipated. Very funny
It's great to see your channel growing as quickly as it has been. I always enjoy a new reactor who has a genuine reaction. Probably why channels like yours and Magy's are so well received compared to the rest of the Homies. Keep up the excellent video reactions...and oh yeah, have fun doing it :)
Thank you so much for your support, I really appreciate it
You don't need to see the old one to see this one. The old one had its critics but I thought it was good. The jungle came to the present day in that one and it had Robin Williams in it. I liked your reaction(as usual) on this one.
Alan Parrish is the name of Robin Williams's character in the original Jumanji.
I'd love to see you react to watching Blazing Saddles.
Karen gillan is so cool in this movie
and Kevin Hart is always funny.
Loved when she showed up at the shack and totally did the Nebula voice.
"The older one is not as popular..." Oh you sweet summer child.
Absolutely you must watch the first one, with Robin Williams! Yep, that name right there is the only reason you should need to watch anything - Robin Williams!
A lot of the outdoor shots were filmed here in Hawaii, great weather today. Come and visit when you can!
Here in Minnesota USA it is getting chilly and leaves are coming off the trees, but it is sunny today.
4 days watch jumanji the next level
Karen Gillan is just .... wow
YUP!😛
The older one is a classic worth watching
Alan Parrish, who built the house that Nick Jonas was living in, was the Robin Williams character from the 1995 Jumanji.
First of the fall season weather has hit here. Colder with fall rains.
The new ones are really fun. The older one was a bit more dark with humor. Still a classic.
The first Jumanji is a classic and I feel was a better movie however it has a completely different vibe.
The older movie with Robin Williams is not necessary to watch this, but this movie has several references to the other, making this a direct sequel.
15:50 the trouble you’d get yourself into. Not worth the headache. As Bill Burr says “do it, do it, fuck it, do it.” That’s all its saying.
You should saw first the old one..they dont relate to each other but...it is better that way..you understand some stuff better
Everyone’s talking about how you should watch the original Jumanji. Watch the sequel to this! Jumanji: The Next Level.
I'd say your correct that the 1st movie with Robbin Williams wasn't as well done, however, like any series, it sets a baseline of what happened and what to expect. Love from india 👍😊😊
33:15 hahaha :D
The weather is the opposite here, sunny blue skies, but cold 😝 and you should definitely watch the original Jumanji! It was well liked for sure
I'm from San diego, so our weather here is always good lol
went boom after eating the cake .. what a way to burn some calories 😅

FWIW this type of film is called a ''popcorn movie''.
Ya know, they should have given Nicks character some info on the future so he can make some money.
I love the older movie of Jumanji - it's a classic movie based on a book.
Your dress is pretty. Tropical is good.
Everything is great. I have been parachuting for a whole week, hope night jumping will not be banned because of the weather
31:20 Mouth to mouth would actually not be necessary in this situation, only the chest compressions.

32:09 Not so fun in certain situations, I assure you! 😂
When you gonna watch the prior Mad Max ones?
Yes, you don't really need to watch the first film. The CGI wasn't quite there yet in 1995.
Hey Blue, nice to see you again, everything's fine here.
Here in Rome the weather is very nice, finally some cold came but the sun still warms you up real nice :)

I love your videos. I hope they are well. I love. Like and Greetings from Peru.
What with the banana on your bear?

DEFINITELY watch the old one too
Old one is OG. It’s the best. The new one is decent, but jumanji the og is a classic 😍
15:47: Blue, your next video? 😮
31:57 and 41:30 confirms it. 😏
Why does Cuddles have a banana behind you? Did Magy leave that in case he got hungry? 🍌
Like your hair color girl.
😍 You sport the tropic look very well, Miss Trixy Blue. 😍
😊 thank you
If kids spend all their time only playing video games in their room, they will never be able to play squid game when they are older lol
You should definitely watch Jumanji, the original. Robin Williams is in it and it is completely different from this one.
Have you already seen the original jumanji?
Nice Imagine Dragons poster! Noticed it, and had to comment.
React to the second one
After this, Jumanji The Next Level.
Notice the cat statue they are aiming for looks like The Thunder Cats lair from the 80s cartoon.....
The older version is wayy more popular
oh man ♥
I really enjoyed this reaction good job Blue👍🏼👍this movie is good and The actors made great in this one. Did you smell what The bear is coocking??? (The Rock's famous frase) 😀

This movie is so funny. You're gonna love the next movie.
It's all good you know, but what the hell that bear is doin' with the banana back there???
Interested in a horror film ? Watch The Color Out of Space with Nic Cage.
She might like hellraiser cos she likes those black leather outfits since she said it in her matrix reaction
I thought you knew about Jumanji until you called the game an artifact. Anyway, on with your reaction and then I will check your video if you reacted to the original as well. Cheers

Lets plat Betreyal On The House On the Hill... Amd Magic The Gathering!!!
I like this even better than the original, but the title used to be The Breakfast Club; why did they change it?
@Gevorg1989 It
It's a joke. You don't see the resemblance?
Hello blue I finish watching your reaction to Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle I got to ask I hope you see your mangy in the next level because that one is much funnier trust me you loved it you'll watch it PS I love what you do with your hair every time you do a video looks very interesting and very nice and lovely.
Older one not as popular? It's got Robin Williams in it!
The original is a great fun film. This is somewhat of a sequel
The first one is much better, if you ever get around to it...
Cool reaction thanks
Cold as **** here.. did you realize that was Nebula?
Also Amy Pond!
Avatar is the most colourful movie going
I like these new movies, but they don't hold a candle to the original. Not sure where you heard that it's "not as popular" but should definitely question that source lol. Let me put it this way: The OG Jumanji stars Robin Williams.
After you watch the 2nd one, could you please watch the 1995 JUMANJI movie with Robin Williams ?
Robin Williams films, always yes.
Trixie you should watch the continue movie Jumanji:The Next Level is good too.
Definitely watch the original
