I wish there were more places that had salad bars. When I was in uni, I used to have their salad bar from time to time. Had cheese, multiple types of beans, mushrooms, bacon bits, olives, baby corn, some cherry tomatoes, and you could even make out the odd lettuce piece here and there.
yeah, salad bars were great, but I feel like people would ruin it somehow

I hope he is feeling ok. When I saw "Sketch Controversy" at first I thought "Oh god what did he do..." and then I saw that he just made OF content and quit as soon as he had another option available. I said "Oh thank fuck he didn't groom or diddle kids." I don't care if someone makes OF content. I will make fun of the people who do make "content" thinking they can make that their career with no change to what they expect in life.
None of this is situation with Sketch is an issue for me or most people from what I am seeing. I hope he can keep a good spirit because addiction and depression are hard things to handle internally.

I had a math teacher who first went to school for journalism but quit it after finding out how much yellow writing (basically opinionated and dramatized bias writing) there was.
I remember a dude coming up to me who was like two grades below in high school and he asked me instantly if I knew the grade of some other dude. I knew instantly why he wanted to know and was like “I don’t know, but I’ll go ask him for ya”
Later on, I made jokes about him with him. It’s not that big of a deal.
Treating his sexuality like it doesnt matter is exactly how we push further and further towards acceptance and normalization. I am gay, sure it feels nice to be told its accepted, but that ensures that question always stays in my mind. Is it okay? The question needs to stop being presented and unfortunately, we have people like that fake ass "journalist" making videos about it as if its some headline. I am at a point where im very confident in myself, I dont need the clarification that its okay because im okay with it. However, there are many people who are still at odds with accepting themselves, coming out to others, etc that will see this and wonder if they will be targeted. THAT is the problem that I relate to the most.
Your comment about acceptance being more widespread in the US is absolutely true. I dont remember where I saw it but there was someone who said (paraphrasing) that since gay marriage was legalized, the rate at which people encounter gay people increased significantly. That increased exposure helped many to understand that LGBTQ arent bad people or at least are better than they believed. Theres always been acceptance but that is whats contributed the most.
This was a great video. I know you said its not your usual kind of content but I think its a valuable contribution to this discussion. Its just another voice saying "Who cares?" which is, in my opinion, how LGBTQ should be addressed. Special treatment is not synonymous with normalization
