You should check out the channel "Stuff Made Here" that guy has made some nutty contraptions. A basketball hoop that never misses, a rocket powered golf club, a turbo powered automatic bat swinging machine and similar to this video, a baseball bat that's powered by .50cal blanks. And he terrorizes his poor wife with bad jokes.
It might, and I stress the word might, be legal in the US if reduced to one round firing at a time.
