True to your word, to the testament you set with your life, your music/art form, your fans, your family, your heritage, your dedication to your dreams! There are so many things I could say about the strong character I see before me in this video and the man I saw before me the first time I saw you perform! I was so impressed with your performance that it has made me a forever fan! I have been to many different types of music concerts in my day and NONE of them were like what I saw you put on at the IKE in West Monroe! You will be here in January again and I already have my tickets and can't wait to see what you have for us this time! But what will forever remain a standard to which I compare others to is you! No nonsense, chase your dreams, and make your own way when someone tried to make you into something you weren't! That is something to admire in my book! It’s the words of the song, what they mean, the understanding behind them, the familiarity with what the song is about! This day and age so many people have to work so much harder just to make an honest living and others just tread by as if there’s no one else in the world. The old saying, “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer!” that’s what I think of when I think of this song and so many others he writes. There’s a reason behind that, “He’s one of us!
