HEYYYYY luv, how's that workin' out for ya, that first one in 7 months? I ask completely outta empathy and " been there done that"....all the best to you.....
I used to listen to this in active alcoholism, and it was comforting in the self destructive sense, but this song has since taken on a whole new meaning. Now that I’m sober, it’s almost an anthem for me, reminding me of how awful life can get if I keep making it worse for myself.
This guy has made a one of a kind jam here. Pure perfection. Some artists have a lot of the perfection on vocals and some have a lot of perfection in instruments but its always the best cold chill having tingle up your spine goodness that comes to you when some have both. He is very unique.

This song came out in 2017 I remember hearing it I could've sworn it was a older song because I couldn't believe a country song sounded this good these days lol
Exactly my thinking. This song is to country music what White Christmas is to holiday music. It is an anthem for the ages. In creation and execution it is perfect. The perspective of the song is just stunning. As a previous observer noted, it is addictive, I don't know why. Even a year or so later, it still has the same effect.......
I discovered Midland when my mom was in the hospital. I wanted her to hear them because she grew up on classic 70s country music. But she passed away before I got a chance. Love you Mama.
What if she had already heard them before you were going to introduce them to her that would be cool but rest assured she is jamming out with you always to music from up above in heaven and in your heart and in the hearts of many more good people:) p.s. I bet she rocked

This song really gets to my heart. I may be young, but I feel emotion, I feel this song hard. My favorite lines are "Last call gets later and later, I come in here so I don't have to hate her." My ex just let me go and it's tough sometimes to not like her, but I still do. Thank you Midland for one of the greatest ever in my books. Goodnight.

LOL...You're brown?...Brotha good music is for everybody..My wife , and children are brown, but they also seem to dig good jams..HAHAHAHHA...As a white guy i dig everything from the late great "FREDDIE KING" to Jimmy Buffett...:)
In a world of country music being in a purgatory of weird click track, awkward sing-rapping... This is a real gem, and a great throwback to 90's-2000's glory
Love this song! Pulled me through some rough times. It is what it is.....sometimes you gotta clutch the bottle and bite the bullet. Never let them see you cry. Time heals all wounds. Just keep believing in love and God and you'll pull through. Leave them in the past and keep looking foward.
Every day I'm not working, I drink. When I get off from work, I drink. I've spent enough money on beer to buy a destroyer, and drank enough of it to float one. How I'm still here today is a miracle, and my time in the Navy is probably the reason. It's literally in our anthem, drink to the foam, and I certainly have. It's not a crutch, it's a way of life.

As long as you can function and have a cold one, it doesn't matter man. Have your beer, just don't ruin your life. And if you do, just pull another bottle off the wall
I call it a solution !
Keep it light beer... And you'll be okay... Vices are okay of you can manage it bruv
HEYYYYY luv, how's that workin' out for ya, that first one in 7 months? I ask completely outta empathy and " been there done that"....all the best to you.....
Fuck it have a good time!
I used to listen to this in active alcoholism, and it was comforting in the self destructive sense, but this song has since taken on a whole new meaning. Now that I’m sober, it’s almost an anthem for me, reminding me of how awful life can get if I keep making it worse for myself.
I have to agree was going through the same thing and now sober.Makes alot of since this song.
One day I will say the same thing
Everything in moderation! As for myself I’ll never stop drinking beer 🍺 cheers
I just thinking the same😊, 6 yrs sober didn’t realize
No one cares
The roots go deep with these guys. You can tell. Real country not dead yet.
liver goes deep too
time for real country to make a comeback!
I would love if that real down and out country made a comeback.
Modern mainstream country is merely twang pop. Time to bring it back
I agree thats country I miss the real country now days its wanna be rap or wanna be rock dressed like cowboys
Man I'm down home outlaw country person it's damn good to hear real country again
Maybe country music isn't dead
Maybe, lol. This is the first ray of hope I've seen in years....
Leave it to a small town in Texas to bring it back...
ReelinTension never was, never will
Guadalupe Sanchez lead singers from Tucson, but close enough.
knucklehead0202 Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, etc.
This guy has made a one of a kind jam here. Pure perfection. Some artists have a lot of the perfection on vocals and some have a lot of perfection in instruments but its always the best cold chill having tingle up your spine goodness that comes to you when some have both. He is very unique.
This is a certified country music masterpiece.
I gotta say I love this song.... I'm a crazy Lil drunky girl and I have told everyone that I want this song played for me when leave this world. Thank you Midland for this song
This is a certified Hood classic
This is a great video. Absolutely love the song. Heard it for the first time today. It has old country to it that us country music lovers long to hear more of. I'm predicting #1. Yes, thanks for saving country music for us all
It's about damn time a new country artist comes out with a true country song!!
Kayla Jones HEY beautiful
Kayla Jones HEY beautiful
Kayla Jones ain't that right
Kayla Jones YES. this is how country music should sound.
Say it again Miss. Kayla I don't think they heard you.
Could've been 10 years sober...but this song ❤
This is a great effing band right here. Boys don't stop now. Wow feeling that 90's Brooks and Dunn and Alan Jackson soul. You boys deserve a medal. Thank you. A lifetime of success to you guys. Love ya!
Tony Kostopoulos reminds me so much of brooks and Dunn and Garth brooks
Tony Kostopoulos give this man a cookie
Well put my friend
Tony Kostopoulos perfectly said!!

As a Hispanic I appreciate my white folks and thank y’all for this amazing music✊🏽
your welcome
And don't forget about them Country Peaches- White Females..I like the Western style of Country Twang..People say I got Smoking Dope problem
Man don't simp for white people lmao they got some good music just like other races. I will say tho it's better than most Spanish music
@@blazeplayz2508 hate to brake it to you but Spaniards are White Europeans ergo spanish music is white music.
on behalf of white folks you're very welcome Garcia
This is my FAVORITE SONG. This is country!!!!! I was giving up hope! I love their voices, the old school feel, the music, the video! just everything!!
i know, but there at lot of people who aren't famous who make real country . why not listen to them?
Exactly Cody Jinks makes amazing real country as do most Texas artists but these guys not so much
I know right?! it's the best SONG ever
NovaRae Castillo interesting, what's an example of a "less country" song? Has country gone too pop?
NovaRae Castillo have to agree
This song never fails to make me smile, anytime I’m at the bar and this comes on… I just got to order a double shot hahaha.
This song came out in 2017 I remember hearing it I could've sworn it was a older song because I couldn't believe a country song sounded this good these days lol
Hi there sexy
Hi there sexy
Its a remake of an older song. Different lyrics but same melody
Good Cowboy Chacha song.
2017, Really?! I first heard it in 2019
After years of being an alcoholic, today is my 1 year sober!
Hey Cienna, I’m happy for you 🥰
@@Ran-nf7ot thank you Zhak!
Congratulations!! I'm 6 years sober. Best decision to quit. I don't want Jesus to smell that stuff on my breath when I am called home.
@@joncooper6346 that’s awesome Jon! It’s such a better feeling being sober! Glad you made that decision as well!
I'm struggling and I need help or this shit will kill me or leave me broke 💔
I don't say this very often but I think this is the most perfect country song I've ever heard. Every note, every word, chorus... perfect!
Octoberville word.
5 yrs without a drink
drinking one for you
Keep it up!
Has that vintage country sound to it. Very nice.
You are quite the troll...
You really need to calm down.
+Brittany B calm down
Zach Foster yeah 💯 wish we had more people like merle haggard and johny cash etc now of days
+Brittany B What in the world is wrong with you. Forget to take your meds..
As I was driving home from work this song came on. Couldn't stop smiling! So good!
Heidi Gray same with me...
Same here, although it's a little odd, because it's such a sad song.
Heidi Gray ,hey gorgeous
Gayyyyyyy
Heidi Gray yea it will get u
I discovered Midland when my mom was in the hospital. I wanted her to hear them because she grew up on classic 70s country music. But she passed away before I got a chance. Love you Mama.
❤️🙏❤️
I'm sorry for your loss.
May she rest in peace ❤️
What if she had already heard them before you were going to introduce them to her that would be cool but rest assured she is jamming out with you always to music from up above in heaven and in your heart and in the hearts of many more good people:) p.s. I bet she rocked
Good music always heals sorry for your loss
It’s a good song to listen but don’t have a drinking problem
Same
LOL! YOU DON'T NEED A DRINKING PROBLEM. ☺
I’m sittin here, average russian house, Siberia, Russian Federation, and I admire that this is a such a great song, it touches straight to the heart. Popping bottle of cognac, cheers, everybody. 🥃🍾
From the first string sounds you know that’s it.
Thank you, Midland, for this magic of music, many of us need this songs so bad. 🤙

Sitting here in my grand illusions
They call it a problem I call it a solution
This man's voice is so soothing.
criminallyvulgar mark wystrach?

"fnafguy"
Yessss😍😃
This song really gets to my heart. I may be young, but I feel emotion, I feel this song hard. My favorite lines are "Last call gets later and later, I come in here so I don't have to hate her." My ex just let me go and it's tough sometimes to not like her, but I still do. Thank you Midland for one of the greatest ever in my books. Goodnight.
This song is addictive.
So True....
Eliminator ikr
It sure is. And the video is damn good.
Omg Thank you for not saying addicting! 😉

These guys put this out 5 years ago, and I still can not get enough of it. Great tune, fantastic players and singers makes for this type of 🎵 music, the best.

It's a broken hearted thinkin' problem
So pull that bottle off the wall
People say I got a drinkin' problem
But I got no problem drinkin' at all.
These lyrics speak volumes to all that suffer or recover.
GOD BLESS COUNTRY MUSIC

90’s country alive and well in 2024
Slowly but surely country is coming back alive, and this song has just begun the revival
Sheeplover Forever no hip hop took over
Adrián Boomin hip hop is trash
Sheeplover Forever you are so right 😁
I sure hope your right...I swear if hear another half-twangy song about Bodonkadonks...
Odyesseus 0 0 why is every country music listener racist I swear. Country music is literally hot junkyard cancer garbage
Finally! This is my favorite song
I'm brown, but there's something about country music that has a special place in my heart.
Are you brainwashed or not confident cause skin color has nothing to with music. I’ve never seen one comment saying “im white but ASAP rocky is dope” like wut
LOL...You're brown?...Brotha good music is for everybody..My wife , and children are brown, but they also seem to dig good jams..HAHAHAHHA...As a white guy i dig everything from the late great "FREDDIE KING" to Jimmy Buffett...:)
Im right there with you i love country music its my go too
What the hell does that have to do with any thing? LOL
I hate these replies. Our ethnicities bias our music tastes lol that's just a fact
Anyone here in 2024?
Yes what time and space are you from ?
Seeing them tonight in midland texas. 4/26/24
First time hearing this ,sounds amazing
Midland at LA County Fair🔥

ME TOO. I LOVE THIS SONG. DONT HEAR IT ON THE RADIO THO
Kathy Alvarado we play it in Texas very well
these guys are the real deal... this coming from a hardcore classic country fan 😊
Dorothy Anderson I agree I'm having flashbacks to when country was amazing!
Beautiful vocals ❤
Best country song ever about time they made a real country song
This takes me back to late 80s. Awesome sound here!
Bradford Knight Agree has that late 80's early 90's sound!!! Love it
In a world of country music being in a purgatory of weird click track, awkward sing-rapping... This is a real gem, and a great throwback to 90's-2000's glory
Thank you. They need to quit imitating the forgettable stuff on the radio and just be country.
Correct. When this song came out, it was so refreshing.
This is one of the three county songs I like
A simple perfection of replies. ✌
It reminds me of the late 70’s.
Fk I miss the whiskey. 8 months sober and needing a shot
Don't do it
Stay strong and don’t cave. You ain’t missing a thing
Hahaha me too bro
I'm not even a country music guy, but this is heaven to my ears :) great song
i have ears #2018
Love this song! Pulled me through some rough times. It is what it is.....sometimes you gotta clutch the bottle and bite the bullet. Never let them see you cry. Time heals all wounds. Just keep believing in love and God and you'll pull through. Leave them in the past and keep looking foward.
❤
Well said.
I like da way u thank. Love and God. Keep on keepin on. Rock bottom ain't the end. That's when we find out what we're made of
❤Amen 🙏
Keep on keeping on brother
My son passed this past October, a Marine through and through....he probably heard this song and loved it it reminds me of him I do miss him terribly.
Sorry to read that. Hope you're okay
Sorry for your lost
❤️🇺🇸💙❤️🙏❤️
RESPECT 💯❤️THANK FOR HIS BRAVENESS
My condolences, may god bless you and keep you happy and healthy.
