I make this regularly for my wife and she absolutely swears by it. You can freeze this and it keeps in the freezer for 2 weeks. After the first day of baking it needs to go in the toaster on the lowest setting and it's perfect once again. I've also made this with half the yeast and it still comes out amazing. Thank you for doing this.
@@GFBloggeri have a question. I only have brown bread flour(the same brand used in the video), since the mixture in the flour isn't completely the same, will this recipe still work?
This recipe is amazing! I'm from the US and I will say the measurments threw me off guard. I also read the temperature as 200f when I was rushing, and had to convert it to Fahrenheit and restarted. I did add some baking soda and a bit more gum to the mix and I'm just grateful that I can eat bread again; thank you!
Just made this loaf, awesome!! had no eggs in so added 1 teaspoon baking powder and a full tablespoon cider vinegar, my first ever success baking gluten free bread for my son, and believe me i have tried a lot! thank you very much.
I've made this easily a dozen times for my dad (he's gluten intolerant). We love it!! By far the easiest and most delicious gluten-free bread recipe out there!!
Hi. My kids hv gluten intolerant. Bt I don't how to make gluten free recipes for my kids. We r vegetarian. Not using Yeast or egg..... Can u share me some gluten free eggless baking recipes.??
Amazing loaf. Didn’t have a rectangular bread tin so I used a 8.5inch cake tin instead. I added oats to the top and I forgot to proof the dough. It came out amazing. I’ve already eaten 3 slices of it yum yum just like regular bread but better. Thank you xx
Absolutely the best gf loaf I’ve made…and I’ve tried to make a lot!! Well risen and good crumb. Really simple recipe and method and a clear step by step video….definitely my new go-to loaf
Thank you sooo much for your recipe. I tried what the packet of the Doves Farm bread flour, I had a couple of goes and didnt like how it came out. Found your video and did your recipe instead and sticking to this now. It came out just right, I was eating it while it was still warm too 😁. Anyway just wanted to thank you for making this video. No more supermarket gluten free bread now x
I made this bread for a Christmas gift basket! It came out so beautiful! Thank you thank you so much for the recipe. I can now say I made a gluten-free loaf of bread and came out so good 🙌🙏
What happened the first time? I just baked mine and it was not done even after 57 min. Top looked brown and hollow, sides weren’t- so I thought it would be ok- let it come to room temp, cut a slice and found it to be slightly moist and not dry at all. Just put it back in the oven- not sure if it would work, but let’s see. I think I need to cook it for 1.5 hours instead of 1. Is there a way to check for it doneness minus all the hard work of tipping it over and check if it sounds hollow
Thank you for posting this recipe. I made it yesterday morning but it didn't rise so I put it in the fridge and left it until this morning. It had slightly risen so I cooked it and it actually is the best gluten free bread I've tasted. I'm currently suffering really bad with pain at the moment so I've realised I need to go complete GF so I'll be watching all you vids .. thank you. (I'll buy some new yeast!)

Just discovered your channel and subscribed to it and also your blog. I'm so impressed by your easy recipes, which look so do-able with easy to get ingredients. Can't wait to work my way through your free e-book, thanks so much! :D xx
Just making it now and I’ll let you know how it’s goes, update can I ask is it definitely 14g of dried yeast as used 2llb loaf tin and it all leaked over the edge and can I ask what tin you used
Made this today and I can not thank you enough for this recipe! I recently found out I have IBS which includes intolerance to gluten, lactose, onions and garlic. Most GF bread has apple purée in it and I’m also intolerant to apples 😩 I am so happy with my loaf it’s delicious! Subscribed!!!
Eunice I tried this today as your video looked so easy to follow. I was unsure how long to leave the mix to prove, it took about an hour to reach the stage you say to look for. I baked for an hour and sadly it would not turn out of the baking tin (I had greased it well). Once I had managed to cut it out, unfortunately we lost the bottom to the tin but the bread itself looked and tasted like a standard loaf. I will give it another go and maybe grease and flour the tin next time.
There is a link in the description to the full written recipe which has all the proving times etc in it 😊 I wouldn’t flour the tin but instead would recommend putting in a bit of baking paper then the olive oil on top of that if your tin is a bit sticky. Hope this helps!
Hi, I made this last night and had three slices of toast with butter and jam on top for breakfast this morning. It was very tasty indeed! The crust was nice and crunchy. The crumb was lovely, soft and fluffy. It definitely satisfied my taste buds that's for sure! I do have a question though with regards to the 14g of dried yeast. How do I convert it into ounces? I did goggle this and it came up with 0.49383546729 so if I remember rightly I just added five ounces. Would this be right? It did turn out fine in the end but just wanted to use the correct method for the ingredients. Oh yes, I forgot to add I also cooked this for around 40 something mins as the crust was starting to burn a tiny bit rather than the time you suggested. It still tuned out well which I am happy with. :) Thanks soo much! I will be making this on a regular basis now! :)
My mix was yellow and quite wet looking. It's proving now as we speak. I'm thinking perhaps because here in NZ our GF flour grade is different and I used Free Range eggs? Either way here's hoping once it's proved and baked it won't be a wet mess lol. Keep you updated!
It looks so easy to make. I have just come across your channel, so I have subscribed and liked your channel. I will certainly give this bread recipe a try 💕😊
Not that it's a big problem, but you might find the yeast mixes more easily with the water if you mix the sugar and yeast together first before adding water.
I have been over 2years getting inflammation in my joints, I cut back on sugar ,but it slightly got better, but then read it could be the food IAM eating ,and to try gluten free food .so I just found your channel and would like advice on what to start off , like bread, milk etc
Thanks for making this video....i have just started feeling the huge benifits from avoiding Gluten and its a game changer because now i fell like i have been oiled and sleep better and get zero bloated feeling and gas....i was wondering how much this all cost when you account for the gas etc because on average its about 3 pounds and 50p in the uk which is expencive for me so i would like to know if its financially viable when you also concider the time to make and bake...Great video and bless you for making it :)
This was the first time I ever saw one of Your videos. I did give You a like and Subscribed to Your channel. This bread looks DELICIOUS!!! I liked that it was just a small teaspoon of sugar put in for the yeast to eat. I heard on another KETO Content Provider that only 1 teaspoon if mixed well will just feed the yeast. It will not throw off Our whole KETO diet. We use Other natural sweeteners for everything else. Anyway, I look forward to trying this one. Thank You for sharing Your talents with Us. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. ✝️🙏🏽👍🏼❤️👋🏼
I just made it and it’s so yummy! If I double the recipe how long should I bake it? And can I get away with using a 9x5 loaf pan at that point? Also can I substitute the eggs for anything? Thank you!
Hi, I just baked it for 57 min- it looked done, when I tipped it over, it was still soft but done! I tried to cut it through after it was at room temperature, it’s not raw but still moist from inside- is there a way to check for its doneness like we check cakes?? Am putting it back in the oven for another 30min but covering it so it doesn’t brown too much. Awaiting to hear from you. Plus point, my house smells divine 😍😍 I can’t wait for it to work 🎉🎉
Tried the bread yesterday. The yeast looked really nice and bubbly and thought I did everything right but when I went to stir all the ingredients together it really clumped up right away (and was not like a batter at all. ) I went ahead and baked it after a rise which didn’t get as high as yours at all and it has a fine taste but is a very dense loaf that I probably could have kept in the oven longer. Can’t figure out what I did wrong? As far as the water amt … it is correct that ml measures out the same as grams right ?
I make a loaf for my husband all the time but I’ve just been diagnosed celiac and wondered can I just do my normal recipe (bread flour, yeast, salt and warm water) and just substitute for gluten free flour? Rather than putting in any other ingredients?
Everything was going great until about halfway through the baking process and the loaf sunk like a rock. Did I overproof the yeast? Not really sure what happened? The only thing I did different was oiled the pan and lightly white rice floured.
I watched and listened to this three times to make sure I had not missed the proving time or the oven temperature but no really important for people who have difficulty reading especially on a computer. If you could edit this in the vid would be perfect.
