Man you really really really should feel proud of your work. It's not just a good story, it's little things here and there that make it great. I listen to do many stories and not that it's a bag thing, but so many authors get stuck in the genre. By that i mean it's always same descriptions. It's like i hear a set up for an event than the fact that it's not ultra common used descriptions, it makes it better. I'll admit I'm jaded in a sense having listened to so many. Unique phrasing helps it set it apart from other stories. Another amazing part of the story is i feel it really could have been another couple hours long or multiple series and it wouldn't have felt like to much. You really opened up a new world but you didn't drag it out needlessly. Most everything we needed or wanted to know you gave us just enough or almost what we wanted and left us wanting more. That was part of what had me on the edge of my seat. I got an idea of what's coming, but holy $&#+ i didn't know what was coming. I'm sorry I've really taken up more of your time than i should have. Just really want you to know this story was amazing, really well revived and hopefully your super encouraged to keep writing

@ahmadtelfah8001 nah, he played his cards badly, the whole story there was one right course of action: kill and burn the infected.
His grandfather must have shared the main characters mental impairment because he literally watched a more advanced human race get taken down by these things (basically super zombies) yet left one in his basement just waiting to infect some moron.
Moron sister gets got by the thing and the main character right after learning of how world endingly bad these things are decades to call ambulance.
Provides no information to the first responders and then fucks off on a Rick and Morty adventure to apocalypse earth to pick up some unfinished decades old bio research.... I'd say stupid runs in the family

Unless he lands back in his world within a few minutes after her attack bc that’s the only way she could be helped. Otherwise she’s been infected long enough to infect others, that have infected others and so on. His world would be on it’s way to the world he left.
It wldv made more sense for him to goto the other world. But of course, he doesn’t care. He’s unwilling to think logically when it comes to his sister.
Add On - I think killing his younger self means Tara never comes to this world and thus she may or may not be alive. I think Tom might figure it out.

    • @tempbauer2131
      @tempbauer2131 2 года назад

That he wants to kill his younger self thinking it would save his sister, is more proof that he doesn’t think straight when it comes to his sister.
I Tom would recognize him and I’m glad he stopped him from killing his younger self. I’m also glad he gave him to it straight.
Basically live the life you have and appreciate it. And get over yourself.
I liked Tom from the beginning and I really like this Tom.

Oh my goodness! That's A LOT OF BLOOD! Are you okay? Did the dentist mess up the procedure or something? That's A LOT OF BLOOD!
I'm going to say a prayer for you, Jane. Hoping you are numb and not capable of feeling any pain. They have pills for that. No one in this modern age, free world, and sorta Golden Age, especially when it comes to technology and medical care, should have to suffer from pain when we have an unlimited supply and large assortment of medicine that erases pain nearly immediately. It's cruelty and inhumane. And I don't care what anyone thinks about the stigma that the mainstream has brainwashed the entire country to believe that controlling your pain, even under observation and not using it to abuse it, is something to be ashamed of and a thing to talk negatively about if anyone knows a person in pain that believes in the humane treatment of pain.
Doctors ought to be ashamed of themselves. Those who refuse to treat pain and who shame you and make sure you feel like a problematic drug addict and seeker, despite your level of true pain, they ought to have their licenses revoked for life.
My father in law is a doctor. A bit of an asshole know it all too who thinks he's a genius and the smartest person in any room. He's much worse, but I'll just say that... My husband feels the same but had to deal with him for 18 years before escaping to the Army, which angered his dad to no end because it wasn't Harvard or some other Ivy League
His dad and mom were talking about sending ME to an Ivy League when we first started dating... Lol. Thanks but no thanks. Why they didn't send his older sister is beyond me, well, no it Isn't. She's not very intelligent... Eight years was the time she spent in school, with no breaks, for a business degree that has and shall never be used.
I'm way too hyperactive tonight. I forgot to take my Klonopin for Epilepsy and when I do, I act like I've got intense ADHD and like Jabberjaw the Shark 🦈.

how to do an infected/contagion story right don't harp on it don't overly emphasize it tell the f**** story and let it just be a dynamic in the background main chars development typically near the forefront and everything else tone pace and setting and story pacing between different elements, i initially thought it was going to beat the dead horse was pleasantly surprised very solid char development good tone and pacing. think this is in the upper 90% of good stories easy 9/10 has potential to be a masterpiece nice tactful reserved use of gore not overly spammed but used to rise the severity of any situation and my favorite part all allllllll of the chars think about what they are doing no teenage let's split up or let's go investigate x death trap. it's so rare to see horror or any story where the cast actually stops and considers consequences rational thinking etc. love it don't lose your grip on the basics you have them down so well! and you have a good understanding of the amounts to which you can use something without overdoing it or selling it short to many just hit you below the belt with shock factor and gore spam or dumb M.C making dumb choices. i praise your care for buildup and char/plot progression :)
