@@LighthouseHorror I wouldn't believe the goat entity that the tower is dead. Chances are it just runs on special frequencies for some paranormal reason and the entity is trying to make it not run. So that people like the toll booth who need it will die.
That would make this not a win on Evil's side but instead a continued win on good's.

So until now, we have a priest made of flies, a doll that makes children part of its show, a entity that pretends to be a town and atracts people with Mcdonalds of all things and a creepy radio station that transmits all the way to a security booth in Ohio where the peoplemade a deal with something. There is something especially scary about thinking you have won... and then finding out that it was just the expected neutral ending.
I mean he could always quit the job and not come back, he got enough money to last him for a while. But the job seems pretty easy as long as you follow the rules and aren't dumb. Sure the caller is rude but no worse than most customer service jobs...

You know I would absolutely do all this jobs that have rules, I would set my phone alarms and have postit notes, bring in a camp potty, a mini fridge, plant my ass and not worry. Post a note on the door to call my phone for entry.

Also, I love that 6 AM is the established time now where all the creepy stuff immediately halts.
It's been my established time for creepy stuff to end since I was a child. If I got scared after 12 AM, I just had to stay up till 6AM and I'd be safe to sleep again! If you believe hard enough it works perfectly.

I love these kinda stories. It never fails that the MC eventually breaks the rules and then gets freaked out that creepy things happen. The moral here kids is always fall the rules.

I would love to have one of these strange jobs with weird rules to survive. Oh I almost forgot I did. I'm serious, I was a Louisiana State Special Officer in New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina and we did have rules to follow and one unit didn't. We had one officer attached to a National Guard unit and I will never forget the emergency assistance call my unit received and when we arrived their HumVee was abandoned along with all their weapons. We never found them. This was even reported on the news but it was never explained. We saw and encountered multiple paranormal entities. We even had fire fights with New Orleans Police that went corrupt. My unit did better than most as I'm Catholic and had learned quite a bit from a few priests I grew up with and went to church with. We were even briefed by the Arch Bishop of New Orleans. You don't have to believe me but it all happened. Also humans can be the biggest monsters and worse than the actual monsters.

considering that the catholic church fits the bill of an anti-Christ.... I have always wondered that if the world really was a fight between good and evil... would the church be on the side of good or evil? IRL pretty clearly evil with pockets of good people.
As a NOLA native, I can attest to the many paranormal phenomena that occur in this city. It’s the most paranormally active place in the country that’s for sure.

So the demon is the employer, wrote the rules, but is also supposedly bound by the rules. Which leads to the following conclusions:
1. The entire thing is done for the demon's amusement since it can't leave.
2. The rules don't matter and the demon could kill the narrator at any point, but follows them simply because it enjoys the game.
3. The money is to provide incentive for the narrator to return and the rules give the narrator a sense of safety.
4. The demon will kill the narrator when it gets bored and wants a new opponent. The narrator at which point will be confused why the rules didn't work that time.
"Do not open the door to anyone who knocks twice. "
That would give me immediate paranoia for the night

WoW that was spooky!!! You included on of my biggest fears, the electricity ⚡️!!! I’ve been zapped more than once or even thrice, from poorly grounded metal lamp posts to working on 100+ year old houses rerunning wires after someone who didn’t know what they were doing and somehow had 2 live feeds and managed not to burn the house down (still can’t figure that one out), to why I hate metal boxes. And why I’m so grateful my first Husband wasn’t as afraid as me when we ran new wires in a house where there didn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to why there different types of wire running from one outlet to the next!!! Ouch 🤕!!! You really got me there!!! Thank You for such a really great story!!! ♥️♥️♥️😊

The comment that was made about the evangelicals and the cult portion really reminded me about the cop in the town of Heaven. I honestly thought this was a trilogy but here the name is Harmony. Still though. Loving this connected series so far. Im glad people made the connection to the tollbooth cuz it went over my head.

So, you need to be patient while your boss yells at you, untill you do exactly what he wants. Then you would be threatened couple of times, and should act scared to tickle his ego, and there are some unmentioned ways to calm your boss down for the rest of your shift, for thouse who in the know. Sound like typical job, but payed much more. Where should i sign?

Ok that first (presumably) phone call has a rather important subtitle error. There had been a few up to that point but if the subtitles are written straight from the script and the reader made an error (or vice versa) it completely changes the meaning.
The audio says “excited for you to start the night”
The subtitle says “excited for you to last the night”
Audio is encouraging but a little creepy but subtitles make it straight up threatening.
Unfathomable entity: See ya tomorrow! Lol this sounds more like a dream come true. I'd have sat down in front of that glass panel with the goat and been like okay so I'm probably not getting out of this alive so...let's talk!

Had to give this a listen after hearing the Tollbooth
To be honest if you are used to hecklers, all you need is some nice drapes to cover the window, cover them peep holes, and add some doorstops to make it less impulsive to open the door, and problem solved. Not like Goat-Boy is actually gonna bust down that door, and after a while, he might provide some interesting conversation.
Radio Harmony from the other story about being a gate guard. He had to leave the radio on and at around mid-night a radio station called "Radio Harmony" would play
