    My only real issue with the new Civic is the turbo not being available on the Sport model, at least on the hatchback. A trim like "Sport" should have more power, and it's the best looking one, plus I don't want a sunroof. I liked that the previous model hatchbacks had turbos on all trims, emphasizing the hatchbacks as the more Sport option.

    • @TheHooniverse
      @TheHooniverse 3 года назад +12

      I agree. Make it optional on the Sport.

      stay away from all turbos unless you like headaches

    • @Fortyfester
      @Fortyfester 2 года назад +2

      @@mrsimpleesarcastik3494 The 1.5L turbo in the 2022 Civics is the same as the last generation and those have been extremely reliable. The worst thing I have seen anyone say about them is that they're susceptible to rodent damage. The 2.0L engine in this car is so boring that the few added parts and potential maintenance costs are kind of worth it.

    it's such a convenience to have wireless carplay - you leave the phone in your pocket and BAM! connected! i thought i wouldn't like this feature as much as i do but i bought a new S4 during the spring and now i couldn't go back, it's that great.

    • @TheHooniverse
      @TheHooniverse 3 года назад +1

      I agree it's a good feature, but not necessary for me if I'm pricing out a Civic. It *is* something I'd want to see in premium and luxury vehicles though for sure.

      @@y.s8915 I forgot I posted this comment a year ago. So I ended buying a 2022 Ridgeline AWD and my wife got a Pilot. We both went with the 3 year lease for now and in 10 months no issues whatsoever. I honestly didn't know the EX came with na engine. I was looking at the Accord but finally decided for the Ridgeline since there's a lot of mountain bike trails here in North GA and a truck just make everything easy.

    They finally got the hatchbacks out now, but the only problem is that I can't find any LX model hatchback anywhere. I don't want a sport trim as it's too expensive, since the hatchback already adds $1000 to the cost. Good thing is that I'm fine waiting a few months to buy one.

    Not a fan of 1.5 liter turbo it’s a small engine that regardless of build quality isn’t going to take much punishment lol tbh everyone is gonna drive it hard so yea, I think 2.0 is the sweet spot for a turbo like the type r for example or even the accord 2.0t ……so I went with the sport and possibly turbo it myself down the line lol
