    I have the 2024 meteorite gray civic sport. And i love the car, it feels awesome, like you said its my first ever car, im 24 years old and im in love with it. The only thing that i dont like about the car is it doesnt have blind spot sensors or parking sensors like the base accord has it
    But i dont know i was deciding beetween the corolla and civic. I think the corolla LE doesnt have blind spot sensors either but its understandable since is a cheaper car

    @darekgwozdz Год назад +25

    The EX gives you extra power, a sunroof, heated seats, dual zone climate, and blind spot monitoring for only $1400 more. So yes, I would say it is a significantly better option than the Sport. Plus, I'd rather have 17 inch wheels, as they are cheaper, better on gas, and less noisy.

      @Usman.-khan 9 месяцев назад +2

      Also, you can make the ex look like the sport by simply putting black rims on. Reliability can also be up to 200k miles if you maintain your oil checkups and price really isn't that much more

    The 2023 civic actually looks better than the 2023 accord lol. What on earth was Honda thinking with the design of the 2023 accord... Its like they specifically wanted to alienate all of their young adult male customer base.

    Can afford any trim level I want and just took delivery of a '23 Civic LX. The roads are horrible where I live and I wanted steelies with tires that can take a pothole. The naturally aspirated engine will outlast a turbo setup every time. Only extra I paid for was the pearl white paint.

      I like the practical way you think. The LX has tires with some actual, shock absorbing sidewalls instead of rubber bands. It also omits the moonroof which adds cost, weight, leak possibilities, parts count, and reduces headroom.

      Pretty soon there will be no phones with chargers, they will all be portless with coil only MagSafe and next it will all be glasses.

    I already know, got my wife a 2022 Civic Touring sedan in 2022. You get all the features and amenities. The Civic Si is okay as if you want a 6-speed manual, the sportiest and most expensive is the Type R. Sadly, in 2023 the MSRP slightly higher, but for the 2024 Civic Touring at over $31K MSRP might start looking at the Accord Ex or EX-L, Acura Integra, maybe A-Spec with Tech, and Mazda.

    Pros:
    Non turbo, take the multipoint injection....A Honda staple that probably will go bye bye soon.
    Cargo Storage
    MT > CVT
    Cons:
    Armrest in the center on the MT has a big HOLE for your elbow to rest in. Why?
    Thin paint
    No fog lights, where I live they are a necessity going into winter, fog sucks.

  • @SCraig-Handsome

    Here’s the thing about the Sedan though… they made the trunk bigger and you can put larger items through by putting down the back seats.
    If you compare the exact same trim between Hatch and Sedan you pay a couple grand more for the Hatch, get worse fuel economy and have to wait a lot longer to get it.
    Hatchbacks are really popular and have a supply and demand problem.
    A lot of reasons to like the Sedans. Plus they are bigger now so it’s really an Accord not a Civic

      @@SCraig-HandsomeYes! I’d been driving my ‘02 Honda Civic LX for 18 years and desperately needed a new(er) car. Some car experts I follow said “Wait until after June for inventory to build up to get better prices.” Well, Honda and Toyota in particular have had extremely low inventory and low sales. Plus with inflation, I estimated prices wouldn’t come down enough to justify waiting. So I bought in January. (And I was lucky to get it.)
      I wondered if I’d regret not waiting an additional 6 months. But it turns out, prices have gone UP on that same car since then! And they sell out uber fast. MSRP when I bought the Civic Touring was $31.6K. I’ve since seen some dealerships listing that exact same car for $32,398, $33,181 and $34,898. 🤯 That’s insane! (Of course, I have no idea if they actually sold at that price, but still…)

For example, Long Beach Honda adds a mandatory $1,500 car alarm system, and a mandatory $1,500 paint protection package on every car, even the lower level trims of Civics and Accords. Think about that. $3,000 over sticker on every new car on their lot. Oh, and on some models adding "market adjustments" of $3,000 or more. Your info about the Si is wrong. it has a 9 inch infotainment center and wireless car play. I have the car. It also has the 12 speaker Bose sound system. And yes, I mean the U.S. version of the Si. If you're gonna make videos like this, you should get the information correct and fact check yourself before posting it. Do better, people watch these videos to get accurate information. I'm not trying to be a jerk or shit on you. Just being honest.

      I can be wrong, it happens. But I just double checked Honda's official Spec Sheet for the Si. It says the following:
      Audio: "160-Watt Audio System with 7 Speakers, Including Subwoofer"
      Touchscreen: "8-Inch Display Audio with High-Resolution Electrostatic Touch-Screen and Customizable Feature Settings"
      The link is below, scroll down and hit "See All Specs"

      @@thesilveremir I'll share a video to prove you wrong right now. Check out Shooting cars review of my car. It'll show you that you are wrong. You're not doing real research because you're simply not stating fact. How can you be this wrong and not realize it?

      @@joe-tn3rb sorry I think there’s a misunderstanding, I’m not disputing the claim about the features accuracy. I’m just letting you know where I got the information from, official Honda Website, bc you said I need to fact check. To me Honda’s website should be a reliable place to do research
      Thanks for the correction!

      Yes this has been corrected already, I get all my data from Honda’s spec sheets so it looks like they need to fix that!
