@@tracerit How exactly is EX the highest trim? It is literally a step above the base model which is still expensive as heck
@@bobafett5838 civic prices have stayed the same, blame inflation. And Americans decided they hated small cars so no more Fit for US
I dont even think these are compact anymore. Had Previous gen and it was pretty long
@@tonychau1983 all car classes have grown
This is still a compact but larger than an 80s midsize car
and sound systems are one of the things that makes a car shine
Loving the new civic interior! It’s perfect. The exterior is very clean. It will take a little tome to get used to the tip of the nose, but as always, you get used to civic looks after a while. I listened to the audio section of this video and the Bose system sounds incredible in there. Can’t wait to take it for a drive. I hear it drives better than the new Corolla which has a nice drive.
The civic’s grew to be very good cars
I think the new gen exterior just looks like a smaller accord it’s cute . Last gen looked too much like a hatchback. I love the interior on this new gen as well. But the sport trim didn’t really do it for me 😐
Best channel for reviewing cars
like the mazda 3 interior more tbh.
I like the mazda 3 everything better
Mazda 3 looks so much better, inside and out.
Just had a bare bones base 2024 Civic as a loaner while my 2022 WRX was in the shop.
Man... that's a really, really nice car. Definitely has me looking very seriously at SIs.
mann i can’t wait to see the Si and type r. I love the design of this new generation of civic
Honda’s suck
@@davidsoto7114 ay man that’s ur opinion, i’m a huge fan of honda’s because of the reliability and cars like the civics and accords are fun zippy cars
@@rajarafe8736 owned a 2020 Honda Accord sport, totally boring ass car, drove plenty of civics, handle horrible. just bought my bmw e90 328i XDrive, I think I’ll stick with the Germans 😂
The visibility is nice! Good Job Honda!
The back of that civic looks like an Audi and like an vw jetta and also that civic gauge cluster looks exactly like the Jetta gauge cluster of the fuel measurement and all on the sides.
best review I’ve seen on a car , especially when you tested the sound 🖤 . thank you .
Love the interior. Love that they finally got a decent sound system. My 2019 civic has the worst sound system I've had in a car in a while. Not a fan of the exterior though on this one.
IDK why lots of people here seem to like this Civic. I am really disappointed, I think the car looks so generic and bland. I loved the design of the interior on the 2012-2015 Civics - that one really stood out and had character! The exterior is great on the outgoing one. This 2022? Totally unremarkable, even the Nissan Sentra or Hyundai Elantra have more personality...
@@lexiani This one just looks more refined, the previous generation looked so childish, like it was trying too hard to be fun. 10/10 for the new generation!
@@10293 yeah, cars shouldn't be fun...bland is better....
Yooo thank you for the Spotify link. Lovin the music. I always hate trying to find a song from a video and spending wasted time doing so.
I really like the civic, I can’t seem to find rear vents in any video or posts, I live in Arizona and I think rear vents is a must in the heat here

Were you about to downshift at 16:27?? Hahahaha you thought it was a manual for a second didn't you?
Hi Topher, which is the superior lane-centering tech--- on this Honda or new Hyundai/KIAs with Highway Driving Assist? Thanks!
hyundai/kia system is still better imo
@@trb1589 thanks for the heads up regarding this! I am looking for a good roadtrip vehicle with the best lane centering (other than tesla).
I actually just bought this car I love it
You did. Looking at one to buy. So worth it??!
I hope that Honda fixed the oil dilution in the 1.5 liter turbocharged engine or else it’s still a problem.
I’m sure they have because it’s Honda
It looks modern and retro at the same time and I love it
Honda: "We heard that the 10th gen was over-styled. So we took it all out. Aren't we grand?"
I just hope the Si/hatch fixes it. The new shape is great but the body is crap. At the very least.... new ILX-replacement?
Doesn’t look aggressive like the 10th gen
The 10th gen looks mean
This looks like a jetta or impreza
This dude made me fall in love with this car, I’m in the market for a Car so now I have no choice
The interior looks great! I think Mazda set the bar pretty high with the 3 though, still the class leader by quite a bit imo
Doubt. Quality> quantity
Mazda 3 is no longer intended to compete with the Civic; it's waiting for Integra to enter production
my god that BOSE sound system is fire 🔥
That engine on tickover sounds like a sowing machine!
Damn that CVT struggling on the 0-60 😨
0-60 mph= 6,8 s Touring sedan 2021
0-60 mph=7,5s Touring sedan 2022
read Car and driver and MotorTrend= 0-60 at 6.8 s with civic touring 2021, cvt, 1.5t.....(only 7.5 s touring 2022. ..slow !) but 180 hp ??? what is the problem...heavy pounds?
CVT do a very good job with 1.5 T Touring 2021 and a 174hp....same year..SI do 6.5s 0-60 mph
And I would say it’s not just a younger person’s car.. I’m an old man! 46 and I would test drive one ! I like the look!
5:08 oddly accurate ahaha
exactly, I remember my PS2 gran turismo
That civic looks just like the accord! it's pretty cool!
I just can't get behind the exterior looks of the car. It's so bland, hopefully the si and type r look better
It's an insane overreaction. Why make a small Accord and call it a Civic? They are meant for different people.
I PRAY the Si/hatch/ILX-replacement fixes that. The shape is great, but the exterior.... it's more conservative than my dad when he sees me mention Europe in any context.
Honestly i really thought I’d hate this car because I’m not in favor of the new exterior but the interior is gorgeous & I’m absolutely inlove. The sound system sounds amazing. It honestly makes me want to upgrade my 2016 civic. Hopefully you’ll be reviewing the Type R
