I didn't do any volunteering because I was studying for this or that, transferring to another unit, being a single mom, etc. If I were going to volunteer, I would have chosen this organization that runs a free clinic operated by healthcare pros that donate their time. I've heard doing a mission looks good, there's shelters, soup kitchens, etc. If you belong to a nursing organization, they usually have a person dedicated to organizing volunteer opportunities if you need help finding something. I say choose whatever interests you because you'll be doing it a while.
what was your gre scores if you don't mind me asking? I am currently applying to crna schools. My GPA is fine my science GPA is better but my gre scores are not the best.
Im currently attending a adn program and then transferring to get my bsn. How would crna schools calculate my gpa? Are they just taking in my cumulative gpa or just my science grades?
Each school does their own thing so if you have a school in mind, it's best to ask them. Generally, schools will look at the last 60 hours of your cumulative AND ask about science class grades and even Statistics.
Thank you for your honesty. This is probably one of the more inspirational videos I've seen.
Tuff road and your killing it, nothing but success to you, and I'm enjoying the journey 🤙🏽🌊🖤
What kind of volunteering looks great for CRNA school? Also what did you do? If you don’t mind sharing
