OK the guy chomping the beam car has to have the best job of all time -- at least the most stress-eliminating. I was wondering what sort of toothpaste and toothbrush they have to use on that beast when it's done chomping and devouring at a derail site. Wonder if one of the birds is assigned to watch for a green signal to warn his pals to stop trespassing because a train is coming on such and such track.
A FedEx and UPS trailers on the same train. Who let that happen? Also, I was hoping the birds in Galesburg would reenact a scene from the Hitchcock movie.
That's Nothing for these Hydraulic Steel Jaw Cutters. I've actually witnessed them partially demolishing the Old Royal Liverpools Nurses Accomodation here in Liverpool, UK. They LITERALLY ate through the Concrete and Steel block of flats. No more demolition balls, those days are way gone!
@@J3scribe not only these but the several Tanks that Ive seen transported lately on these Live cams. I'm not suggesting anything, just very curious. that's all
Two days in a row showing no love for the HSC...Love what you do...but the HSC needs some major love...drop Fort Madison for about a month ..replace w/HSC
As a veteran I can tell you it's nothing more exciting than annual winter training. The vehicles going through La Plata looked fresh from the AM General plant and headed to a new unit somewhere to replace the aged out HMMWVs in our inventory.
Just a suggestion, but considering the Ukrainian conflict going on, maybe not putting rail movements of our military vehicles on here might be a prudent move? The USA has the best and most open freedoms of any country, and I appreciate that but if "Intelligence" can be gotten by our enemies, from knowing where our equipment is at or going, maybe not showing it here makes their job harder!!
Yeah, why don't you tell us what you thought of the video. That's what the comment section is really for. Did you even bother to watch it or are you only interested in playing your childish "first" game?
This Caterpillar shearer is amazing. I've never seen anything like it.

Thanks❗ Great video ‼️
Wow amazing. ♐👌
We are 80 miles South of Flagstaff AZ in Prescott Valley. Unusual snowstorm today. Good day to watch train videos.
Hydraulic power is truly amazing!!!!
Nice to see Ft Madison, IA.
The BrightLine ROCKS!
That has to be the slowest excavator operator I’ve ever seen. He must be on over time.
Always very cool footage 👍
Nice video. I caught KCSM 4570 shown at 8:03 in the video in Ames this evening.
10:51 New Centerbeam Flatcar Crunch... breakfast of champions!
I really like Amtraks latest Operation Lifesaver paint scheme... it's just cool (as well as eye catching)
Jurassic cat!
Very interesting watching the yellow dinosaur eating
WOW A mini Amtrak train :)
A quick and amazing grab bag
I like trains
Nice
"volume up for train sounds" gave us amplified 'fingernails on a chalkboard' - made all the more excruciating while wearing headphones.
They are removing a six story building where I work with a similar piece of equipment. Unbelievably powerful jaws.
7:10 Heck of a long Army Train!!
That is sure one big storm
Cool
Anyone know anything about the CONRAIL caboose at 6:09?

? .. : .. ? That was a strange looking aspect change. It was like the signal could make up it's mind. :)

PS I meant the machine was the beast and not the operator in my first paragraph haha.
Can I guess that machine's nickname is "crunchzilla?"
Hello
Hello, How are you doing?
I’m good you?

Looked like a hungry metal munching dinosaur ~ Metalsaurus
Edited : now I see your dinosaur comment 🤣
Lol the center beam reminds me of a dog eating up stuff
7:45 Are those extra fuel tanks?
I'd like to know too.
LNG fuel tenders for the engines.
@@r_mon_e Thank You.

They should have told the Iron Giant there was a free buffet there!
why did the rail yard request that privacy block? what's in there? 😅

Rather curious about all the military vehicles lately
Those are JLTVs coming from the manufacturer in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They are replacing HMMWVs, aka Hummers, and are likely headed to their new home.

I saw one some days ago where military vehicles we’re in forest camo. Otherwise, they all seem to be desert tan.
14:55 - SQUIRREL ON THE TRACK!
last i heard from the local's, a train goes by every 18 minutes.
It is a centerbeam.
A Cat with claws of steel! Lol
BNSF 3002 in two separate areas of the country within seconds?
Co-op car from Kansas

That pesky center beam didn't stand a chance, crazy weather everywhere,

I work hard to put Ft. Madison in these grab bags, maybe NS needs to put G B material over the curve

That 'dinasar has atrocious manners, nibbling that centerbeam , !!!
Lots of Military equipment on the move. Hope the Russians are watching.

Come'on, the over/under was dramatic enough. You didn't have to add the fake clouds ;)

What does it matter they move them all the time
You’re over thinking, calm down.
Governments have satellites, they don´t need Virtual Railfan to watch trains if they are so inclined.
First?
Nope, besides, it doesn't matter if you are first or last as long as you enjoy the video.
