In lunch, Sometime I go for Fruits,like apple and Banana & sometimes I go for Rice, Dal, and vegetables. 3. And in Dinner, I take 3 chapati with Vegetables and salad. So sir, If I calculate myself there is still I need proteins to make myself energetic, and though i feel very little Tiredness before workout.

I am 85 Kg male, 6 feet height with 15% body fat. I have tried 150 grams, 100 grams and 75 grams protein per day but did not find even a single difference in body composition, strength or anything else keeping all other variables constant such as total calories, workout etc. I have been working out since the past 14 years now and just consume 75 grams protein per day since i feel the healthiest at this protein intake. I have stopped taking any supplement whatsoever.

Never completed the basic 0.8 g per kg of body weight. Never taken any protein supplements. But diversified my protein sources. Had good strength and good muscle mass. Less fat. Not single digit of course. Strength wise I am good. So even this funda of per kg protein is laughable. I agree we need protein but having half of protein than standard is enough for body building unless you are competing. For competition it’s a different story all together. Focus more on workout. Good form and good healthy diet.

Protein mein alternate between veg and non veg. Eggs and fish are best. Fibre mein salads and fruits. And eat more to get big. Sirf protein se nahi hoga. For probiotics eat curd , chaas. Etc. and this 50 percent only. Workout karna is mandatory. Uske Bina weight nahi badega. No need to take protein powder or bars.

75gms is enuf. Thats because Only 25g proteins can be absorbed at one go.

Hello Sir, I have one question. If someone is 6ft height and weigh 120KG (with +40% body fat), does it mean he requires 120gm-144gm protein per day to loose fat? Which means, when he will reach 90KG, his protein requirement will become 90gm-108gm protein per day? Does the requirement of protein is based on ideal body weight (i.e., for a 6ft height, may be 75KG ideal weight) or based on current weight?
