Looks pretty good brother I actually set my spray can in super hot water for about ten minutes before spraying and it sprays super smooth ....it's awesome how everyone had their own way of doing things ....that's what make us unique and special

That’s sorta what pearl is. Basically just clear with a tint added.

Aluminum should be cleaned and sanded frosty in appearance with some tooth to it, not shiny, and primed with epoxy primer (or self-etch followed by a different primer) before topping with a color coat. Otherwise it will peel way sooner than you want it to.

It shouldn’t be locked because I never locked it. Might try it off WiFi. I have heard that some people using WiFi at certain places like hospitals, Burger King and free WiFi places can’t seem to watch videos idk why that is but the video is up for sure.
@@JamesDguy check the comments. Nobody can watch because of some setting limiting which devices can watch. I'm at home on all my devices it doesn't work, thats the only time I've ever had this happen to any yt video.
@@9ramthebuffs9 It played perfectly on my stuff and everyone else I had try it. It has happened to people I have blocked before because they ran their mouths but never seen it do that to anyone else. I shared it on fb and everyone says it’s working fine

You should try Speedokote SMR-1150 clear coat. It’s way cheaper than the SprayMax 2k and can be sprayed from an HVLP gun. I’m about to start using it

Is your plan to do each panel separately or are you going to walk the car as you spray it so you don’t get an even pattern or stripes
Not sure yet haha Gonna figure that out when I get to that lol
@@JamesDguy i have done something similar and i would definitely recommend walking the length of the car on the first coat and then back up a little bit so ur about 10 inches away and walk it again so pearl can even out and flow out.
@@semirm8248 I have sprayed pearl before but my method of spray can painting is different than my Gun method. I’m sure I’ll figure it out but that’s a good idea
I've been looking at this paint but was wondering if it could be used with High Temperatures. How did it hold up with the temperatures of the valve cover?
Do you still have any of the cars you have can sprayed in the past? I’d love to see a follow up video after one or two years. I know you say it holds up well but I’m not convinced it holds it’s shine and color that long. Would love some proof.

Looking a bit low on the brake fluid.
Your not wrong. It’s time for new brakes. Technically has plenty of fluid but it’s all in the line. Idk if that makes sense but when you do brakes and compress the caliper piston the fluid travels back up the line and fills the reservoir.
@@JamesDguy well if you know you need new brakes, maybe it has a super tiny leak from within the caliper or cylinder in the drum
@@henryhooker3282 I don’t think your understanding what I mean. There is no leak. When the caliper expands the level drops down. When you put new brake pads in you have to compress the caliper piston which forces the fluid back up the line into the reservoir. It just needs new brake pads. Haven’t got that far yet only had the car a few weeks lol. They aren’t squealing or anything yet. Plus need more money before I can replace them lol

@@henryhooker3282 Yea it’s all good but im glad you brought it up because im totally gonna explain it in a video about brakes needing replaced and how you can tell without actually looking at the brakes. As a technician i was taught to inspect brake fluid level because if it was low it either had a leak or pads were ready to be replaced because that’s 4 wheels worth of brake pads that need inspected. 9/10 it was always needing new brakes. One time it was just a leaky line lol
