  • Kate Brown is a supporter of The Florey who has decided to include a gift to The Florey in her Will.
Kate has had a long career in teaching and medical research - she first became aware of The Florey in the 1970s (known then as Howard Florey Institute) when she worked in Parkville as a laboratory technician trainer.
Today, Kate’s experience gives her a strong appreciation of the work being done by Florey researchers.
Kate also knows people who suffer from or are caring for a loved one with dementia, and is inspired to give to support dementia research.
We sat down with Kate as she shared her thoughts about how vital it is to continue supporting medical research - and what ultimately inspires her to continue supporting The Florey.
