- Hey everyone! I am officially back from our Mount Everest Base Camp Trek! Boy was that the craziest and coolest trip I have ever been on! I still can’t believe I Hiked to Mount Everest! The entire trek was about 14 days start to finish, with travel, and it was filled with new foods, crazy hikes, beautiful views, emotional tears, and much much more! I filmed as much as I could on the trip, and put it together to get this vlog video! When you arrived at the base camp and showed Mindy crying, I started crying too, because you could just see how emotional it was and what a great but also exhausting and instructive experience it was. You should be very proud of and will never forget it. Thank you for taking us with you on this journey!!

@@MaddieRoloffshe had an undiagnosed cyst since january and still had it during this trip :)
@@MaddieRoloffshe talked about it on Instagram stories, but she had a cyst on her bladder that caused a lump and she discovered it before Everest. She had surgery when she got back but the altitude and exercise from the trip actually helped get rid of it
She had a cyst bust. Was in the hospital and had surgery. She has a video about it coming next week. @@MaddieRoloff

Having really bad health anxiety, the immediate thought I had when you initially said you were doing this was “omg what would you do if you got sick!”
I am amazed at all of your willpower and endurance to push through that and continue the climb. Even through what you couldn’t control. That was very inspiring to me!

I bursted into tears when I saw your mom cry. The relief on her face. You guys all pushed through some intense stuff.
Mindy cried so much but in a couple of months she will have a grandchild that will love to hear all about that time his parents and grandma climb to the Everest base camp. And that’s so amazing!

I’m just trying to make it thru the day with absolute horrible allergies right now while planning our youngest daughter’s wedding . It’s crazy to think that my little girls who watched you growing up are now going into their senior year of college and getting married respectively .

well done Ms Brooklyn you carried that video & well done for getting all the place names & not doing the ditsy 'how do you say that?' routine so many RUclipsrs do! It's a great experience for you all & yes, things might make everyone appreciate things in life a bit more now - I learned a lot when I did 23 months volunteering during the hostilities in Bosnia & Croatia years ago - a few others ended up leaving early, mostly because they couldn't handle the level of facilities & lack of the things they were used to. Quite a few times we just had a splash of cold water from our drinking water allocation & a washcloth to have a 'soldier shower' no wipes. So ya, the first time you get a real shower, it's pure joy.

I went on a mission trip to India a few years ago, was in the himalayas at one point, and i can DEFINITELY relate to the craving for literally nothing else but fresh fruit!

The amount of emotions I felt watching this video is indescribable. I can't even imagine taking on an adventure that arduous. I commend all of you for committing and accomplishing that trek.
