Ford Focus RS Time Lapse PPF Wrap with Sam CarLegion

A fellow RUclipsr and car guy brought his Ford Focus RS for XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film. We do a time lapse of the front end installation.
Unfortunately my camera battery died while I started the beginning of the bumper wrap and the file got corrupted (noob mistake - live and learn).

How do you get the roof edge properly down, I find there is not much surface to stick down properly so I cut it 1/8 ´´ but doesn't protect edge

Was the water hose for rinsing slip solution off to get a quicker tack?

It does help rinse out the tack, and I also wanted to be 100% certain that no dirt will escape from the fog light trim and get trapped under the film. The RS has a deep recessed area, and lots of accumulated dirt or debris tends to get under the film if not 100% clean. The car was washed very thoroughly prior to wrapping, but this is an extra step.
