- Special thanks to Mach V Motorsports for allowing us to film their Focus RS with Cobb Tuning! This RS is Mach V’s shop car; their test bed for parts that they will eventually vend to customers. This car is a testament to the potency of Ford’s 2.3 liter, producing 335 whp and 394 ft/lbs of torque with only an ECU tune and intercooler pipes, loaded onto Cobb’s AccessPort V3. We’re stoked to see what parts are coming for the RS in the future! Keep an eye out for more of our features on Cobb tuned cars.

That blue with the silver wheels is an excellent color combo. He needs to swap those two black wheels for silver! For not having many mods it sure made a lot of power. I think it may be a better option than an sti.

that Ecoboost motor "ecobeast" seems awesome so far. It'll be interesting to see how much power the stock internals can handle. A little worried about the complaints of random loss of power delivery in that i've heard that the RDU ,once it overheats, can reduce power. It's also interesting in that early articles claimed that the drivetrain is nearly at it's limit in stock form, so how the drive train will hold the power will be interesting too. Overall a nice, new ,and exciting platform.
Now that all the competitors have played their hands (Honda Civic Type R, Volkswagon Golf R, Ford Focus RS, Evo x discontinued) it's now Subaru's turn to play their hand of the inevitable new motor for the STI. The 2015+ generation of the STI introduced a stout chassis, tighter steering rack, continuation of hydraulic steering and rod actuated 6 speed tranny (along with the STI's already bullet proof tranny/drivetrain), so the only thing that is missing is a new motor that delivers.
Not even 5 seconds into the video and hitting that like button. Production of the videos are amazing..

Man it is sooo upsetting that no one is interested in the Mazdaspeed 3 Platform and I dont know why. But I own one myself and it is so much fun to drive. It is soo silly that its face describes how the car feels. I honestly encourage someone to look up even further in the Mazdaspeed 3. And I hope Mazda brings it back which I'm so curious why would they not bring it back anymore. Plus , This is The Best Channel I Have Seen In My Life !!!

Mach V is good people. A bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Never really went to them for my evo or sti needs due to their prices but we were young back then.
Nice video, but honestly I wouldn't take a car to mach v for tuning. He tuned a built Subaru of mine that left the shop with no road test. Car suffered serious drivabilty issues cause the larger injectors and the Subaru fuel stumble wasn't tune for..Dan wouldn't respond to my emails or help sort out the tune. Just took 500 bucks and gave me a car that ran like shit. The car blew up 2k miles after he tuned it. Built the motor agsin and had someone else tune it and the cars been making 400 whp on 93 for 4 years.
Sorry for your bad luck. I had a completely opposite experience at Mach V. My 2010 Ralliart made 262hp and 305tq on a Cobb Stage 3 with stock turbo. These guys actually paid to have the Cobb tuner fly from Texas to Virginia, he spent several hours with my car and road tested. It’s been over a year without any issues whatsoever. I actually made the decision to go with Mach V after watching this RUclips video.

The secret "fifth drive mode", is track turned on, but with suspension in normal and traction enabled, makes no the car stick like glue, with a liveable ride, vs being in track mode 100%... See "Focus RS secret fifth drive mode for full info.

so if the guy was to put coil overs on the car wouldn't that completely eliminate the adjustable settings the car already has for suspension

Why on the dyno around the 3:50 mark was the front wheels the only ones spinning??
Focus RS's rear diff's don't like being run on dyno's. Shops disable the rear when it's on the dyno, even if they have an AWD dyno like this one.

Congratulations! I was wondering when someone would notice.. Dan does that because his customers are frequently asking what different colored wheels look like on the car, so this way he can take pictures of both colors much easier :)
