The first time I heard Raheem and the other guys make the attempt to duplicate this song, I listened for about 1 minute and turn the station. Nope!!!!!

I remember the night this was broadcast. My girlfriend and I had fallen asleep with the TV on. The melody was so beautiful, it woke me up. I then focused on the TV screen and was mesmerized by what I was witnessing. Totally blew me away. As I watched this performance and listened, I looked over at my girlfriend who was still sound asleep, I started to tear-up. I was overwhelmed by the moment with pure joy, love and romance. I knew right then and there that I was gonna marry her. Fast forward to a short time later,,,,,,,,,,,,,, this song was used in our wedding ceremony as an entrance with 3 guys coming down the isle (separately) to each of the solos and me making a grand entrance to Barry White's solo...........
