There was a festival at Elias Howe Park in Detroit. He was the entertainment and he performed for free and dressed to the nine’s in a yellow canary suit. I will always love his music. He needed help and no one directed him. I was teaching then. I would have taught him to read and write. I do not agree with his actions BUT someone in his entourage should have step up to curtail his sexism. If you truly care about a person, help them, direct them to do the right thing even counseling.
