I developed a floater in my right eye and it came with flashes in the night, but the flashes went away and the floater is lessening. I hope you were talking about flashes not going away that would be a big concern? I think it is the bio-flavanoids in the pineapple that give nutrients to the eye & floaters than appear less noticeable.
No matter if they flashes went away I would recommend going to an ophthalmologist. You could have had a minor retinal tear and you won’t know it unless they dilate your eyes and look. It’s a relatively easy fix with a laser procedure. If not treated, the vitreous can build up behind the hole and push more of the retina to detach.
I suspect that excessive sugar consumption causes those (bright white flashes). Sugar found in mainstream candy bars, soft drinks, white sugar that people put in their coffee, donuts, cakes, etc, etc. Restrict yourself to a sweet treat once or twice a week; and the sweetener that it contains should be RAW sugar, NOT white sugar. Raw honey, real Maple Syrup and Rice Syrup are ok; there are lots of organic candy bars now; and you'll find these things in organic food stores, like Whole Foods Market; and many main stream food stores carry these things. (White sugar) is dangerous and destructive.
Well the body is made up of water, the eye is made up with water, so why can't they empty the fluid from the eye, clearing out all the old fluid replace it with new fluid... I'm sure I've seen someone do that.
There's no safe cure (or even a cure at all) for A LOT of things. What does the year have to do with it. Compared to a hundred years ago, the things available now are borderline miraculous.

I’ve been having those things in my eye since I’m 17, the first one I had is like a worm, it moves and changes shapes, sometimes it curls up like a snake eww and it distracts me! Later on I started seeing cobwebs, then donut shaped little black dots, that appear very intense the brighter my field of vision is, then a new worm shaped floater appeared in my left eye, and new more little donuts are floating around in both eyes, but not hundreds, maybe about 20, but they’re extremely distracting, sometimes I fantasize how I would destroy them with my fingers if I could… I really wanna have a clear vision again.
Thank you for this I’ve had floaters as far back as I can remember. I have never found anyone els with them so I had no clue it was an actual thing. Mine look like perfect tiny bubbles floating around but they have never really bothered me, I also have sever ADHD with helps me block them out anytime I’m not directly thinking about them.
I would like to add that retinal detachments will often follow the lesser known vitreous detachment that most of us will experience as we get older. Sometimes the vitreous detachment will tug on the retina and tear it. That happened to me. I saw not so much any more floaters but got frequent flashes from the side of my eye. Went to 2 eye doctors who didn't see anything wrong. Finally one said to see a retinal specialist. I did and he found my tear. We did laser surgery that minute. So, two regular eye doctors didn't catch the tear, but the retina specialist guy did. My experience suggests passing on the other doctors, go straight to a retinal specialist. They have way different equipment and ways of looking for the tear. Mine was so old it was starting to heal on its own. I was very lucky it was in a place that was at the extreme edge of my vision. I honestly can't see where I am missing my vision that I lost.

hello doctor i am 18 years old and i have eye floaters. When I am at home I do not see anything when looking at a white wall or a shiny surface, but I see it wherever I look outside, what do you think is the reason for this? (my eye floaters ain't black, my eye floaters are transparent and ring) will this disappear by itself?
It's common to see floaters against plain backgrounds. My floaters are transparent, too. They will likely come and go, depending on what you're looking at and if you look for your floater you should be able to find it.
Awesome video, glad I watched it! A word, to all of you that had floaters for a long time, think of them as an organic compound that derived from you, don't make yourself feel invaded by that. True, they can annoy and distract, but at the end of the day, you know how to overcome that, if you had them for a long time.

It is common knowledge that, as we age, the parietal cells of the stomach produce less HCL. It is also true that, as we age, we are also prone to eye floaters; moreover, an older person ( with, coincidentally, less stomach acid ) is more apt to RETAIN the eye floaters acquired. My theory is the two are related. Inadequate stomach acid levels have been associated with a number of health conditions; could eye floaters be one of them? If so, could a proper blood pH ( normally between 7.35 and 7.45) contribute to the natural absorption of floaters?

No matter if they flashes went away I would recommend going to an ophthalmologist. You could have had a minor retinal tear and you won’t know it unless they dilate your eyes and look. It’s a relatively easy fix with a laser procedure. If not treated, the vitreous can build up behind the hole and push more of the retina to detach.

You don’t have to understand it, but glad you did at the end.
Did you went to eye specialist?? Please tell
Does it gone now? I have it right now and I’m so scared I’m also nearsighted
Holy crap! I've been seeing flashes for quite some time now and my optometrist looked at my retina and said it was fine. Now I'm worried he might have missed something. I'm going to see opthamologist next.
@@bluejay9890hello, what happened ?
@@yousufalharthi2960 Nothing. The opthamologist didn't see any issues. Said my retina was fine and sometimes people see flashes for a long time with a PVD. I can still see well so I guess I'm OK. I hope so!
I think I'm having night vision in my left eye. My eye stays kind dark and I can barely see out of it. My right eye was that way a bit when I would turn a light off but it cleared up. I am 68 years what can do about it, It's really annoying. It is hard to read out of that eye. It is really mostly a shadow I see of letters. 😞

Hello, I have a couple eye floaters only so far and I am notably nearsighted. My question is can exercising make eye floaters worse? Or does working out have no effect on eye floaters?
I just started having floaters in my right eye but only notice them when driving or in the sun, will try the pineapple

Its honestly never wasting anyones time if you have a new flash. Let your eye doc know! They can triage and see you/dilate you if they deem it necessary. But don't ever feel like its not worth it to tell us. We're here to make sure everything is ok with your eyes!
For how long you experienced flashes? I had the same problem😓
Mam my eyesight is -2.75 and i saw floaters and flashes when i saw towards sky but normally i do not see any flash and someone recommends me to do LASIK surgery for 6/6 vision and remove the glasses permenantly too.
I'm also in the same situation as yours
I have dots that is following my vision, i dont know what to do 😓😭😢
Go watch austin goh's floater exercise. It helped a lot
I have floaters in my left eye and my eye is getting blur what should I do?

hello doctor i am 18 years old and i have eye floaters.
It stay in Ur eye for life.
I have blephartis I some times experience eye floaters is it normal? And also does blephartis and Mgd cause any vision loss to the eyes?
Awesome video, glad I watched it!
A word, to all of you that had floaters for a long time, think of them as an organic compound that derived from you, don't make yourself feel invaded by that.
True, they can annoy and distract, but at the end of the day, you know how to overcome that, if you had them for a long time.
i got a lot of floaters in just 6-8 months... like from 5 to 100.. :(
What's worse, my tinnitus or my floaters.
Floaters are also a good reason for a Preventive Maintenance Yearly Dilated Eye exam, :)
Yes!!!! One thousand percent!
@@EyeSchoolwithDrD As I stated before I thought it was a good demonstration and example when you did the video once of The Dr getting an exam. Very good demonstration
Cheers for the video content! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Franaar Spectacular Look Formula (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one off product for curing eye floaters minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend after a lifetime of fighting got cool success with it.
Great question!
Yes that's why ppis affect your eyes

Hello and thank you for the video it’s great to say doctors explaining it. I heard MSM drops work do you have any opinions on that? Hii! I wanted to ask if it’s normal since i’m only 17, i see eye floaters since 5/6 yrs. I’m scared because they got kinda bigger and there’s more :/
Any time you're concerned about your floaters, you should definitely contact your eye doctor to have them checked out.

How many you had when you were 30?

Nano-grade eye drops, real AGE-breaker, should be the last-ditch treatment for

My right-eye vision is like looking underwater or foggy. This has been like this for a couple of years now and I've got used to it, but on Sunday morning when I woke up, I noticed a near circular-shaped floater in my left eye. I thought it would go away but it is still with me 4 days later with no signs of disappearing! 😟I am male 61 years old.
Hi doctor thanks for the explanation very informative, I have question is there retina detachment without the tear? I had the light flashing and floaters / cobwebs like in the eye but I should go to hospital straight away if I get lots of floaters.Very confusing?
What's the update
Just started noticing them last week in my case it’s my heightened stress anxiety, dehydration and diet that’s causing them. Lately I’m learning how to ignore them instead of panicking does vitamins or MacuHealth work?? I have a mild case 🙏🏽
Probably they are not dangerous, but they're extremely annoying, at least for me. I was thinking about reading or working with my computer, for instance.
I called. I have floaters and flashes.
It took me 4 weeks to be in. I’m going Friday.
I had a few quick flashes at night.
It’s happen several times in the past 4 weeks.
So can floaters ( i get them when looking at the sky/ light blank walls etc.) not be a symptom of a head tumor?
Greatly appreciate your explanation about floaters; one week ago a floater appeared in my eye, I thought something was in my eye yet I couldn't get it out. After some research and following up with your video, I have a better understanding of what's going on. And yes, I made an appointment with my eye doctor, I'm drinking more water and I'm going to give the pineapple a try, nothing to lose. Thank you again.
Have you tried pineapple? progress has been made in your eyes?
@@mehrihuseynova6059 Since introducing pineapple into my diet I've noticed the floater is smaller, not sure if the pineapple had anything to do with it or if it just naturally became smaller. Nevertheless, I like pineapple and it has other nutritious properties so I will keep eating it.
