One thing I've found that helps a lot is tinted windows. UV rays coming through the windows when you're driving really makes things worse. The tint + sunglasses..plus UV blocking car visor really helps. I got a doc prescription for darker than usual tint.

I’d like to use at least a retinol but how would I keep it out of my eyes that don’t close? I’ve also had glaucoma (since age 32) and have the beginning of macular degeneration. I’m 33 years old and mine started almost a year ago. It took an optometrist 6 visits before I said “enough “ and went to an ophthalmologist who specializes in Lasix. He told me to try warm compress , preservative free drops and fish oil. I’ve probably tried every drop on the market to no avail. I am miserable. My eyes randomly sting and water through out the day and in the morning when I wake up, they are so dry I can hardly blink. At least 2 times a month I get conjunctivitis, I assume with crusting and a bloodshot red eye. I cant wear contacts past 4 hours or they become so blurry they don’t serve a purpose, which is kind of how I’m feeling. Never thought something like this would drive me into a deep depression.

Don’t focus on how it makes you feel, focus on how you can fix the problem. Try all of the remedies you find on RUclips but change even your routines , your diets. Today I realised even that I have to change some stuff but it doesn’t mean it isn’t temporary. A positive mind it is a healthy body that can help. Smile and be gratitude. You are achieving what you want you have only to undestand it. Good luck 🤍

So it probably depends what you're treating...do you have persistent corneal defect issues like RCE or EBMD or more meibomian gland issues from rosacea? Either way, it's just important that someone is monitoring...you may NEED hylo products because they help your cornea, we just want to make sure it isn't at the expense of your meibomian glands

I think it's different when it's from bells palsy because the nerves
don't actually work anymore . But you're right , gaming for many hours
probably not good for it rofl . I just use a hot flannel , not much else
one can do . Does drive me insane , eye sight blurry as fck in that eye
tho . Tbh I have been told no such thing as a cure , humans haven't
figured it out yet . What makes it much worse for me is I broke my nose
when I was little , so my sinuses on the same side are all fcked up also
lol . Life is so grand isn't it , it loves to just kick ya in the teeth
when ya down . I love being me so fun rofl . Whats the worse thing is
ya go to sleep hoping tomorrow will be a better day and it's not real
and then ya wake up 4 years later with the same pain in your eye . It's
like for fuck sakes jimmy I just want to end it all now . If I had a gun
id probably do it . Don't get me wrong I love life , I'm just so fcking sick of this shit . Best escape for me is booze tbh , nothing works better lol . Booze is a muscle relaxant so it works well
