Thank you!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome i will Be watching.
Thanks!
I love Link Wrays music! My husband, also a fan plays bass in a surf band called the Cosmic Wrays. Great group of guys. Their version of rumble, ace of spades and others is fantastic!
Awesome! Thanks for stopping by!
Great video, just now saw this. Did an amazing job ty.
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
Like so many garage bands of the sixties, the first music we learned and played was Link Wray’s. We’d go to his shows at The Three Rivers Inn west of Syracuse. We knew he was a legend and must’ve played his work literally thousands of times over fifty years. Dunn has a treasure here and should absolutely pay serious tribute to his and the Raymen’s work. Run Chicken Run!
A Rock n roll Legend needs to be in the Rock n Roll of fame 🎥🎼🎶📽️
Stay tuned for next video…
@@GEEKORMAN people don't realise how much 🔗 Link Ray way head of his time just shows artists from the 1950s inspired people I am a Teddy Boy 🎶🎼📻 My man is Buddy Holly 👓, also Eddie Cochran, Eddie Cochran and Buddy Holly 👓 where both way head of there time as well. Eddie Cochran was doing things with his Guitar 🎸 people weren't doing had a unique sound also played the Drums self taught on the Guitar and the 🥁 Drums that's how good Eddie Cochran was. If they had both lived Eddie Cochran and Buddy Holly 👓 they would of wrote songs for other artists they had the vision that music 🎶🎼 changes and evolves that's how good they would of been. Thanks 🙏 Paul the Ted ✊👊🎵👓🎶🎼🥁🎸🔗
@@paulbrennan3996 Right on brother!
I have been a Link Wray fan for years. I have his original Lp on Epic as well as a perfect copy of the 45 rpm on Cadence of Rumble. His daughter Beth Wray Webb has a facebook page. Btw he originally wanted to call Rumble Oddball.

Too many Natives have NOT got the RESPECT due. 'Only in America'. We need to Honor those who blazed the trail ALL rockers pass on. Much respect. 🦅🪶
Nice work ,thank you.
Thanks!
Well Dunn. Great doco. Everything that was Ever Dunn. Link Wray Park with an outdoor theatre maybe.
Right on brother
🤘
Hes Amazing ❤
As far as I know there has never been a book published about Link's life & music. That would be a fantastic project, while there are still people around who knew him.
I agree, there should be a book, a full-length doc, and hell, maybe even a movie?
As asked by many of the comments, a 2023 rock and roll hall of famer!!!!!!!!!!!!
So cool!!!
Thanks!
Man, this dude is chewin gum and jammin and smilin, all at the same time... Good times...😎🎃🤟😸
Will try to hit Dunn this summer to check it out. Never been there but am curious. Doesn't look like Linkfest is still going on.
I know Linkfest stopped during the pandemic, not sure if they ever tried to do it again.
Yes he needs to be in Hall of Fame
He is as of this year!
Really interesting story! I knew him but not that he was from North Carolina!
About 40 minutes away from us!
As a Mohawk I can say that Yes, we tend not to get honoured for much, people will even fight against honouring such truths.
That’s a shame. I hope they can get more recognition.
Hello, thank you! This is awesome to see. Hopefully your English is good or you can translate back into Russian - I do not know your language. I do not know how copyright law works in your country, but here I have used audio and video that is not mine, obviously. I make no claim of ownership and I expressly state that I will not try to monetize this video. Possibly you can do the same? Good luck, and I hope this helps. Spread the word about this great music!
Link Wray, and his Wraymen!!!! one of the Best !!
I was waiting for Run Chicken Run.....nice one!
Thanks for hanging in there!
My fav by Link.
❤️❤️🎸🎸CAROLINA FINDS by Geekorman for doing this Film 🎥 on my Father❤️I really appreciate what you have done❤️❤️🎸🎸
Nice job, Gonna talk about this
Thanks!
No kidding? I was born in Fort Bragg, NC and grew up in Sanford which isn’t too far from Dunn. I’ve heard this tune growing up but never knew the story of Link Wray or had any idea he was from North Carolina.
It's amazing how close we can be to someone and not even realize it. Definitely check out more of his music if you're into this kind of stuff, he's got some great tunes.
Brilliant thank you for sharing this town dunn id never heard of it and its my last name for me i feel connected to it and they really need a giant rumble statue of the fight and link playing maybe a wall mural and a statue if i was in the area of visit it and lay a pick on his feet and get me a oair if sun glasses like links to wear home oneday he will be back hes one of them musicians that rumble is timeless and they always go round thr charts forvever and ever legendary hero
Thanks! He is timeless.
Hell yeah, a mural or statue, most definitely
At the least he needs to be in the rock & Roll Hall of Fame!
GOOD JOB BUD !!
Thank you for this Documentary. Absolutely INTOXICATING !🤘
Rock on!
It's OK not to commercialize the Greatest of all time!
True, but also seems like he’s criminally underrated!
