We are so lucky in UK, my story similar to yours became easier just 2 take them all out & ended up with dentures top & bottom but I didnt have 2 pay a penny for them for which I am truly grateful! However, if I want full dental implants, only one I would get would b the zirconica 3 on 6, is more expensive than all on 4 but loads more benefits & the extra money u spend u save on getting them removed & cleaned professionally! Apparently the zirconica ones are hard as nails also & u brush & floss them like normal teeth! If I was gny spend tht crazy money I'd defo get them. X

Hello sweetie... i have been watching all your videos about dentures. I started the process of getting one, just pulled 25 teeth last week and i refused to have immediate dentures and i want my gum to heal naturally, no problem for me to live with no teeth because I don't care about the surrounding, me comes first. I have seen you on couple of videos you have some pain because of the immediate dentures moves around and cause pain. I really appreciate what you have gone through so I can learn more about having denture the easy way. thank you. and God bless.
What a great video. I need to get a better skin care regimen. You rock!!!! Aspen dental did my dentures and made the permanent set with 2 lowers missing. It's been something at every junction!!!! It'll be a year in July and I definitely don't recommend them for your extractions to permanent dentures process.

@@MyReason2smile your right Im 44 and just want my smile back I was more afraid of the extractions than anything cant wait to get my teeth. are you still wanting implants or are you happy with how things are now?? you look perfect the way that you are.
I’m happy with my teeth, but I still want implants. Badly. I am too young to be ok with my jaw re-absorbing back into my body. I want my face to hold its shape forever lol.

Thank you so much!!! My dentist told me the same thing. He said 8 hours with teeth out a day. He told me because the mouth is created to self clean. So when the dentures are out, the body goes to work doing its job. I had An amazing dentist, I trust his word!

I've been wearing my uppers about a month. Seem's to get easier every day. I hate eating with them. In about another 10 months I go back and get the real ones. These are temporary. I'm not sure what the difference will be but I paid more money for the better one's. Next big step for me will be the lowers. I Still have some to get pulled on the bottom. Not a big deal as I've dealt with dental issues all my life. I wish I could of afforded the implants so I could snap these in but it was just way out of my budget. Thanks for sharing your awesome.
Thank you for sharing as well. I’m going to be announcing an implant contest once I find out more info. I want everyone to get a chance to get them like I’m taking. It’s from Dr. Golpa. He’s picking 12 people for free implants. Doesn’t hurt to try! Glad things are getting easier. Eating takes time and patience. I’ve cried a few times, trust me!
You are so helpful thank you from the bottom of my heart..quick question do you ever sleep with them in I can't imagine having them out all night
I don’t sleep with them in at this time in my life. I have done it before, and personally I hated it. I sleep with my mouth open, and I have the most horrible, dry, disgusting taste in my mouth in the morning. I prefer them out. It’s personal preference sweetheart. My dentist told me to rest my mouth at least 8 hours a day, so I follow his recommendations. Hope that helps.

i love your routine..having a routine is great..ive had mine almost one month.. the bottoms are so big and will not stay in even when they are totally full of fixadent..take ine bite of food and bottoms fall out.. will be re fitted in january.... they take time to get used to.. thanks..

A lot of people say that. Also the older people get, it seems as though they have jaw aches when the teeth are out. I sleep with my mouth wide open ( very classy I must say ) so I don’t have issues with over closing at night. I’m a mouth breather. Swear to God, I’ve tapped my mouth closed trying to train my body to breathe through my nose. Epic fail lol

Wearing dentures Its ok I sleep in mine as well. I just can’t bring myself to sleep without them. 🤷🏻♀️
I never sleep without mine. Nope..can't do it. I have TMJ..and I have to have that stopping point for my jaw.
Try sweet almond oil to remotely makeup...it’s better for your skin and doesn’t burn! Cheaper too!
Sometimes I use Vaseline, or coconut oil too. I’ve changed up my routine so many times. I will try that though. Thank you!
Lol I’m on day 6 of my new dentures and the day/night routines are a killer lol..and I only have the top set to do 😂😩
It’s not the most fun thing. It’s right up there with paying taxes, dental work, and waking up when you’re tired!
@@MyReason2smile absolutely agreed 😒 I don't even bother wearing them sometimes seen as we are locked down 😒..and if I do go out I have to wear a mask so can't even show them off 😒
Would have been a great time to be toothless though. There are people saving thousands by not getting temps this year. There’s a silver lining somewhere lol. It’s hard, I know.

Never put a denture on ur sink put them in soak container while cleaning them& soak them vinegar n baking soda and use toothbrush for adhesive w cold water in roof n gums then gently use denture brush in baking soda lightly to get off adhesive making sure as she said taking easy w teeth.
Kayla your teeth are absolutely beautiful! I got mine almost a year ago & I’m not too happy with the way they look. Anyway I heard you mention in this video that you soak your teeth in hot water & I was wondering how hot can the water be? I thought hot water was bad for the dentures?

Hey! Usually if there’s a lot in there, I’ll run my fingernail gently from the back of my mouth forward. Basically gently scraping it out. If there’s only a little, then I’ll use the paper towel and run it back to front till it’s all off. In a pinch I’ve used toilet paper, but that’s never a good idea lol. I’ve heard people swoosh with hot water, coffee, tea etc to get it soft, then wipe away. Thank YOU for always being a beacon of light. You’re always kind, and generous with your compliments. Hey! I didn’t know you could do that. I just discovered it not toooo long ago. I am still working on a routine that works for me. I’ve been breaking out from stress I think. My face looks terrible recently. Maybe lack of water too. I’ve got another video already filmed coming out later this week. Just need to finish the voiceover part of it.

I Proceeded! Lots of good stuff in this video. I think I'm going to get some kind of micellar water. Eye makeup that stays on all does not like to come off. I'm pretty guilty of committing lazy denture more nights than not. On the morning after a lazy night, I brush them thoroughly with denture toothpaste. I never see anything on them in the morning if I haven't brushed them the night before, but I figure it's better to brush them anyway.
Girllllll, me too. It’s probably like every couple nights I might be good. Since hurting my back, it kills me to stand there and be so meticulous. You made me laugh so hard, my son said what!!!! Like why am I laughing. Micellar water will remove everything, including your sins. Seriously, nothing is left when I’m done.
Kayla, I saw how it took off your makeup. That's enough proof for me. I also have trouble standing at the sink after my car accident in April. In 2 weeks, I'll be starting the permanent denture process. I can't wait! I'll go back and watch some of your color and tooth choices again.

Omg you said you are from upstate ny! I’m from Rochester ny! I found your channel and have been watching for hours.. I’m 35 and my teeth are horrible.. they are suggesting I get dentures but I am terrified.. I’d love any advice anything to help...
My advice is jump on it ASAP. It’s worth it. I came from nothing, so I appreciate and love them soo much. I never forgot where I came from. That helps so much. I am from Guilderland, which is a suburb of Albany. I don’t have my Yankee accent anymore, but I’ll always be a NY girl.

I was told I can microwave myndentures to clean them. I was told Id probably get a soft liner. Is that even safe to do it when they have a softliner in them?
Absolutely not!!!!! Whatever you do, please don’t microwave your dentures. They are made of plastic love. Also don’t use hot hot water. A soft liner isn’t effected by an overnight soak.

Good luck! It’s coming soon huh. Don’t let it get in your head! A lot of us were scared to death, but it wasn’t so bad. I’ve never used dawn, personally, I love the tabs. Easy to use.

Own it love! I was a Tom boy my whole life. I didn’t even wear eyeliner till I was 19 and I’m cosmetology school. No one taught me how to be a girl, but I’m definitely girly now! You deserve to treat yourself well! Remember you’re priceless.

As bad as it is, I prefer fixodent. Till I find something I like better. I used to get bad headaches with the regular fixodent, but they have a couple different kinds. I use the max hold.

What happens if you don’t ever take them out? Or is that even a possibility?
It’s not possible! At some point you’ll really want to clean them. You’ll start feeling yucky. A lot of people just soak them while in the shower, or just take them out to brush with denture cleaner and put right back in. I see both sides of that decision. I’m a mouth breather, and sleep with my mouth wide open. It’s super attractive. So I get a horrible taste, and super dry mouth if I leave them in at night.
I like the shower idea. That’s what I’d do. It’s more private time then.
It’s totally cool to do it that way. I try not to tell people all the time what they should do. It’s their life, and we’re allowed our choices. My dentist did tell me to please leave them out for 8 hours a day to allow my mouth to rest, and clean itself. Something about the mouth naturally cleans itself.
Thank you! I have another question as I’m in week two. Still not eating but mostly because of chronic illness. However, nothing hurts until I bite down and the gum part of the lower denture digs in too far. I just need to call my dentist and have that trimmed? Inside and out? I sincerely appreciate you.
Absolutely! It sounds like it needs an adjustment. That’s totally normal. Your dentist expects to have to make the dentures fit for you. That will make it a lot more comfortable!

I soak mine at night in water, by the morning the glue has all gone and then I clean them .
I don’t use glue anymore thank God, I’m so glad you don’t have to fight with it. It sucks

sarah Reding well I’m not high, also I clean my sink. Like a normal human. Ie daily. Second... they soak in tablets which would clean off any bacteria. Please think before you cast out ignorant judgements.
