WizardsWithMachinery Slacker inspired me to play QOTSA songs when I was younger, started when I was 14, I’m 21 this year, just started my QOTSA covers channel if you wanted to check it out. I play the way I do because of Slacker and he’ll probably never know he was a massive part of my childhood
Hey man! What are youe thoughts on the boss bd2 pedal and the zoom MS-70CDR? Do you the blues driver for the low gain stuff? And about the zoom? Does it suck tone? Thank you
BD-2 is my main pedal, it’s always on, even for clean. Zoom 50G used for modulation only when it needs (although Reverb is always on as well). Can’t tell if it sucks tone, for my needs it’s ok, I’m not a professional musician. Pitch Shifter sucks, delay and reverb ok, chorus and flanger could be better for professional recordings. All the drive presets are unacceptable.
@@slackerVK Cool. I had a feeling about that. Been trying to get a good clone, specially with the keeley mod so I opted for the mooer blues mood. You may not be a professional but your tone is pretty good and enjoyable! Last time I commented, I suggested you to listen Linda Martini. Maybe the Portuguese singing is a down side for you but I think you would enjoy the guitar work specifically on the lp's like Casa Ocupada or Turbo Lento.
Watching SlackerVK play QotSA in the spring... Like the good ol days
Watching this gave me a whole new appreciation for the composition
And the tone is fucking _wicked_
Definitely. You easily overhear those licks
absolutely. josh is a riff master.

I love that you pick some of the best deep cuts!
I don't know much about playing the guitar, but this seems like a tough, intricate track to pull off.
