@@rayericphillips3916 Great to hear!
I sprained my ankle couple months back.. Ankle is still healing, but I have been experiencing plantar fasciitis.. Now I have a tight calf. Experienced a calf muscle cramp in middle of night .. I work construction and am on concrete all day.. I've been changing my insoles to see what helps better.. i mayvhave to go back to my heel raises or orthopedic.. been to stretch, but maybe I'm just overworking it. Can't afford to take off work rn..
Try stretching it gently with a tensor band. Wrap it around the ball of the foot and gently pull the ball of foot upward towards your leg until you notice a mild stretch in the calf. Hold the stretch for 4 or more minutes or until you notice the muscle release into the stretch. Also consider this foot massage: ruclips.net/video/fmOoNiwtNss/видео.htmlfeature=shared
I have foot and calve pain, it started with the feet. I also have turned in knees so it causes me to walk with my feet turned out and to the side, i AIso have bad hip pain and I have tried the shoe inserts, but it makes it more painful.I am very worried. Thank you for this!
Sounds like you may have collapsed arches. Some arch supports may be too aggressive. I would suggest seeking the help of a professional in helping you find a solution.
Great video! Thx! If I point my feet to a morning stretch when I wake up, I can get a very painful Charlie horse in my calf muscle! Why is this? I’m 52
When you point your feet forward you are stretching the shin muscles by contracting the calf muscle, which can cause a cramp if that muscle is tight. You may also be dehydrated at that time. You may want to start with some gentle calf stretching and ankle rotations.
Great vid! I just went to chiropodist unfortunately he's not as thorough as you are!
I had pain in my right foot which was a burning sensation. Now the pain is in my calf and back of the knee
If your arches are overpronating, rolling inwards, and there is a valgus deviation at the ankle the Achilles tendon may be stressed, which can cause additional tension in the calf muscle, which attaches at the back of the knee. Have you tried arch supports or heel lifts?
