Thx for showing fps in newest videos. I think Gamecube version here is best. Xbox is overdarked and looks odd sometimes and PS2 is slow choppy without antialising as I can see.
With no surprise, Xbox wins in the load times. Xbox also wins in image clarity however, the GC port looks more green-ish for some reason, some type of lighting difference. You can see more of that lighting difference when he compares the character model, Vexx looks really pale in the GC port. GC also has a larger fire effect but it looks more simplified so I'm not sure if it was intentional. Good god what is that at 2:37... why is it all blue-ish? Xbox doesn't look much better here either. PS2 really has poor framerate for this game. Xbox is nearly perfect with 1 or 2 hiccups and GC didn't drop once! As for the textures, it's hard to compare because of the different lighting all 3 seem to use in that particular scene but I think Xbox looks better. It's a tie between Xbox and GC. Mostly because of the PS2's 30fps and interlaced image and only seems to be superior with draw distance lod textures.
Xbox load times are much better, but GCN has best contrast as PS2/XB are too dark. I beat this on Xbox back in the day, fun game. 6th generation had a lot of solid platforming games, Dr. Muto was a good one too.
Gamecube looks very unfinished to me despite it running so well. Ps2 looks good but performance is less than ideal and should have been locked to 30. Xbox looks the most consistent visually, and has the most detail overall. It also holds 60fps very well. So for me its Xbox/Ps2/Ngc in that order.
@@Haywood-Jablomie you might be right about that, and it certainly looks brighter, more colourful, but the textures are lower quality, certain parts of shading on characters and objects are missing entirely. giving the game a flatter appearance. It looks almost too bright at times with distant objects popping out due to a lack of draw distance or colour correction. The cube version looks very playable but the visuals look rushed to me despite their brighter appearance.
I'm not sure if its because of emulation but the Xbox has some missing visual effects that are present on PS2, but PS2 has a worse framerate and GC looks very mehh visually.
@@kevinfromsales9445 Looking back, I noticed the cutscene at 1:14 shows dynamic shading on PS2, whereas the GameCube version has better lighting effects. Curiously, these effects appear to be either subdued or nonexistent in the Xbox version, but it does have a slight edge in texturing as well as anti-aliasing. Also at 2:24 you can see that the GameCube version is the only one that shows the “heat haze” effect in this particular area. This effect is present on Xbox as well but as far as I can tell it’s only in certain areas like at 0:43. This effect is absent in the PS2 version but instead it shows more glow effects. Also notice that there is something really wavey going on in the Xbox version on the left side of the screen, and on PS2 there is a glow effect on the floor. There are many interesting differences between the versions, though despite the advantages in the PS2 version, it is overall inferior to the other two versions because the textures are the muddiest, the frame rate is inconsistent, and the audio is muffled.
More GameCube and Xbox games have Progressive Scan, but it's activated in different ways. PS2 is just the only system that puts the option in the game menus.
i like GameCube version, which one is your favorite?
Gamecube & Xbox
Ps2 and gamecube
Definitely the GameCube
PS2 HD 720p
@@thongquehanoi PS2 doesn't support 720p, it's only 480p, even on PAL (EU) (576i) games, the actual resolution is 480p
They could do a Remaster of this game for the new generation consoles, it would be amazing.
I don't know bro, but I think I like the Gamecube version. Btw great content bro, nice video!! 👍
Where did you get the show real-time fps tool?
Pretty cool!

Really ? Supposedly the developers liked the GameCube one the most

As you might expect, the Xbox version is superior to the other versions in terms of performance, visuals, and sound.

Yo M Pro Can't You Gauntlet Dark Legacy PS2 Vs Gamecube Vs Xbox Vs GBA
Creat ❤❤❤❤
GameCube 2003 - 2007 version.
GameCube is the best, but the textures are inconsistent.
If we could get the xbox textures dumped into the Dolphin Emulator it would be great.
This has been done for most textures! I've also got a draw distance patch.
The Gamecube version is too bright, glad I played the Xbox version as a kid.
PS2 is the only one with a Progressive Scan mode in the options. So I choose that one.
More GameCube and Xbox games have Progressive Scan, but it's activated in different ways.

GameCube win
Game cube ta melhor
Xbox
Game cube tem melhor iluminação é desempenho.
simply putting it: GameCube the brighter version
