    Man what a haunting scene, the water, the song.... Crockett looking out over the ocean thinking about all the lost years and dreams ( no words just his look shows all the regret). Don Johnson was always underrated as an actor.

      Epic scene. So much symbolism .. Miami Vice was great at giving visual stimulis that would create a flood of emotions. I watch this scene and realize how time just pushes forward and takes us all on a ride to everywhere ..

    Years ago I purchased the entire series on DVD. Still watch it today and I'm 61 years old. IMO the best series on television. Ever. Excellent casting and the genius of Michael Mann.

      I also bought the whole series. I was born and raised in Miami. I introduced this show to my daughter's and they love it! They are young adults and still ask me when they're home to pop in a Miami Vice DVD and watch it with them.

    Vice always had the songs that fit the scene and characters' emotions, helping to complete the story. Just as she's walking away, the lyrics haunt Crockett, "nothing had the chance to be good, nothing ever could"

      I was their last week. At the intercontinental Hotel beside Bayfront park . I travelled along way to see this place where Don did the last scene of Miami Vice plus the Scence with Barbara Streis White lambo and boat . I found a bench and cried my eyes out . I would give anything to go back their in the morning 😢

    Ich kann mich noch erinnern, als ich in den 80 ziger Jahren die Folge gesehen habe in der dieses Lied gespielt wurde. Ich fand es damals schön und auch heute ist es noch so toll wie beim ersten mal hören. Keine Serie reicht bis heute an Miami Vice heran. Ein Klassiker.

Made a movie together somewhere along the line. 1st time I've seen them together for a long time - did anyone else feel the connection/the charisma?     Shoulder pads and tailored to fit clothing. I loved how I looked back then and the music was worth listening to. Nothing can compare to Miami Vice but, the CSI: Miami series is pretty good. Funny, that's already gone as well. Ya gotta have a boat in the show, it's Miami for heavens sake. Peace out🌴

    Micheal Mann always does a good job selecting soundtracks. He knows the importance in plays in developing moods. I still think Manhunter has one of the best soundtracks for a film I’ve ever heard.

    Simply Red.Mick Hucknall brilliant artist. The video to the original song was filmed in Whitby.North Yorkshire less than an hour drive from me where dracula was supposed to be shipwrecked and burried in St Mary's churchyard which is in the video.

      Not really - at least not for me. They are actors in a fictional TV show. It isn’t about their life. If they are good actors, I see them as their Miami Vice characters, not Don and Melanie.

    They really need to put 80's and 90's series back on.and movies.these were all better back then.OH!!! HOW I MISS THE 70'S 80'S &90'S.I NEED A TIME MACINE
