Mostly agree, just wanted to comment on some of the perks: - "skilled spotter" combined with "EMP" on weapons that have AoE, like M/49 and MGR-6, you can easily mark multiple enemies with a single blast, you still deal damage, and you don't have to swap ammo all the time. Also, it's pretty cheap, since it doesn't require any rare resources. - "Final round" is great on a Deagle, and thats pretty much it. Fire rate is pretty good, damage is pretty good, and on that gun, with this perk, you can take down fnix hunters in 8 shots (however, that depends on your difficulty settings), without much of aiming for a specific part. I combine it with "hip shooter" so that I dont have to deal with its terrible sights. Its pretty accurate that way. Now, why would you even carry the Iron Condor in the first place? Well, to feed the new experimental AK with .44 rounds of course. - "Machine Disarmer" - I use it on one of my PVG90 to take down Wolfs and Tanks weapons from a distance. On "adventure", all you need is 4 shots to remove weapons from a tank with this augment. Fun to play around. I put this augment on before the update, i wouldn't waste 1000 phosphorus for it now. - "Health stealing" is pretty much reserved only for the minigun and the COM-10 smg because of the fire rate. I usually run around with the minigun, i think its nice not having to dodge Firebirds or Tanks machine guns. Again, just as the "Machine disarmer" perk, i installed it before the last update, and i wouldn't waste rare resources for it until they fix the requirements. - "Trick shot master", shame you didn't mention it, because its pretty fun, especially when you combine it with the "hip shooter" on semi auto shotguns.
dont get me wrong each to their own and you make fair points for some of those but trick shot master is just dumb, when are you ever in the air long enough to get that damage buff? the answer is your not so why waste a perfectly good primary slot for titan toppler or small fryer? just doesn't make sense g :)

so everytime you want that damage buff you jump which applies said damage buff for like 0.1 seconds and you just keep doing that.. instead of using the guaranteed stock damage buff... 🤣 i don't think that was the clapback you intended it do be bud! but not to worry you just keep jumping...
I use PM-71 with Titan Toppler with companion equipped with spotter and rocket launcher attachment. Working on the tier 3 Hit And Run. Currently on level 57.
I find unstoppable very useful for targeting components that aren't exposed to you like shooting the tank on hunters back when he's facing you or even through a brick wall if you have object penetration on a scope, it also allows me to one shot the base turrets by hitting the tanks under the turret through the armour plate.
@@KilroyPlays No the exp pvg90 will only pen machines not walls. I would only use the pvg at range as well, were as using this I can create a more flexible weapon usable at varying ranges
@@KilroyPlays not really, an unstop weapon is useful against all opponents were as if you use your primary slot for titan slayer or small fry they can only be used against a limited number of opponents and neither of them are effective against hunters. It's comparing a specialised weapon approach vs a general weapon. Also why wouldn't you want a weapon that can penetrate cover. I would also point out that when an unstop round hits the front armour of a bot and damages a component it's doing full damage to both, so it's technically equal to a titan slayer mod doing double damage- at least until the armour breaks.
yeah sorry thats just not right g 🤣 dont get me wrong each to their own with augments but unstop is rubbish in comparison to the generic 20% damage buff of titan toppler. theres no comparison to be made between the difference in damage
Hip shooter is still nice even with the skill points. My reasoning for liking it is because it helps keep my bullet spread smaller for more precise hits and less waste of rounds, but it does depend on the weapon you use it on too.
I actually quite like emp detonation and hip shooter on my möller PM, at max rank it's really nice for popping runner gas tanks and hunter tick pods to disable them for a second, then it's easy to run behind them too to pop their gas tanks. Another augment I use for DPS is actually rapid reload on my shotgun, which doesn't have increased magazine capacity. it's easy enough to reload a shell or two between hunter kills, but against tougher machines getting those shells faster into the tube means more shooting and less running around like a headless chicken. Lastly, Prone specialization is something I used for the longest time on my SVD at a long range to give me that laser accurate DMR, as I can go pew pew pew pew really fast to disarm or destroy tanks and chew thru wolfs at a safe distance. Once I got my 5 crown PVG, I put it on there as well but it's not really useful cos PVG is so slow. Hope these examples shine a light on how to use some of the so called bad augments in a good way.
none of them are practical though... your first example gets beaten everytime by small fryer, your 2nd example your talking about DPS which guess what increases your DPS... titan toppler and small fryer, lastly you want laser accuracy with a sniper... you can boost all those things for free in the skill tree my dude... theres no reason to use any of those augments. this doesn't shine a light just proves my point 🤣
@KilroyPlays With the first möller augment, those runners still die with 1 shot so I did prefer to make the gun more consistent instead of overkilling, not to mention small fryer doesn't affect hunters. For SVD the extra damage from titan toppler isn't as big of an increase for DPS as the extra buffs from prone specialization which allows me to shoot twice as fast compared to other damage buff that is at most 20%. Even with the extra accurcacy and reduced recoil from skilltree SVD kicks like a mule and is inaccurate at long ranges (beyond 200 meters), it's borderline impossible to hit weak points. Not that the augments directly give damage, but they are beneficiaö for my playstyle and make me more effective at killing machines.
Thanks for videos. Had a quick question wanted to know what you heard. I heard showdown was the last free update. Does that mean they may make more purchase dlc or are done completely (noticing two big islands unused lol) are the going to patch it still as bugs are found?
@KilroyPlays that sucks. There is so much potential they could have done with that big island. I had heard I think last year, that some stuff in the code suggested stuff was gonna happen there. I have been playing it since all houses were the same in 2019. So I have seen all the changes as they happened to the UI, Inventory. It got better, I also get why they made the base defense different, but at the same time. I don't like how much the game now relies on it. Maybe the defense is to get resources quick I don't think it should be the only way. It should be better balanced. Maybe make it possible to get these things from rivals as well. They did something similar when the game was very early and walked it back some. I think it was trying to get schematics. but they had walked it back some because it was more tedious and get certain items. I also hope they fix the furnace it isn't worth it not for the fact that you can't get those metals in abundance like other resources. I still hope in the future they either continue with a new game or come back to this one. It was one of the only dev teams who really listened to the community. Any way thanks for the info.
yeah im hoping they randomly come into a large sum of money so they can continue with the game because GZ is so underrated and no game made today really hits the same as GZ does so fingers crossed they randomly win the lottery and we get a GZ 2 or something. (it's wishful thinking at best)

Rapid reload is game changing for small magazine explosive weapons like the RPG and MGL. It’s also mislabeled for when it activates: component destruction.

@@KilroyPlays I think you need to redo your calculations. TT is only 20% extra damage, Small Fryer is 50%, but a 75% increase in reload speed is a 43% reduction in time spent not shooting the RPG. More rounds down range is more damage even if they don’t spell it out for you. AoE guarantees something will break if the machine just doesn’t die and grant the bonus anyway. Sorry dude. 🤷🏻♂️ It’s the best of both worlds.
Hip shooter is awesome on any SMG especially paired with small fry. Makes them like a laser and so fast as not looking down the sights. Great for packs of runners and lots of fun on level three base assaults with runner spawners. You should try it on your fav Com 10.
the com-10 and most smg's are already lasers my g, would much rather my 40% extra sprint, not gonna waste a support slot for something that has already been buffed in skills 🤙

@@KilroyPlays The thing that makes it a laser on hipfire is it's firerate/volume. It still misses a lot without skills+augments matched unless you're shooting something big. In the end It's not really going to be your anti Harvester or tank weapon. That's your pvg. I use it to kill hunters and doggos quickly.
I got hip shooter on a minigun before the crafting revamp. Not a terrible augment, but not a great one either. I do like the extra accuracy for it though. I have spare N144's to try other augments on. (I keep 4 of each 5 crown weapon) The experimental sledge is useful for base assaults, the charge attack causes AOE damage and does quite a lot of dmg to walls.
with all the additional turrets on lvl 3 base assaults now its just easier taking it down from a distance with structure destructor but i see the appeal to using the bonk
To be honest alot of people say the ag5 is bad but it's really good when paired with gold stabilization and gold of the slowing rounds. The only reason it stays in my loudout is because it has 0 recoil and can consistently debuff machines
So i wanna do explosive specialist cause im playing with my son and i have dlc wepons was thinking rocket launcher with structure destroyer and the big grenade launcher with titan toppler since emp grenades i can just swap ammo .
haha simply pointing out there's no point wasting a primary slot for something you can do easily enough without this augment... i'll take extra damage any day and just emp something with a cell or rocket round🤣 you clearly don't know how to play the game if you think you need to set them up... you just throw them takes 2 seconds
Slow and steady is good for the minigun paired with Titan toppler. I, personally, would not recommend small fryer. Just because many of the enemies it affects can already be killed in one to two hits. Now, if the devs modified the game and made it ALSO apply to hunters. Then 100000% yes, it would be amazing. Thats actually a huge missed opportunity from the devs, and would have also made shotguns far more viable. Because everyone who's played the game knows that shotguns blow
yeah i never understood why the hunter isnt in that small fryer classification... because then it accounts for ever machine in game between titan toppler and small fyrer so i think they messed up on that one

Im playing on russian, so i dont understand, how it was translated. Experimental 5,56 is a HEAT rounds? Or its just a name for augmentation for 40% boost damage for components?
I play very different style to you I'm on xbox play on normal because I have never adapted to the aim assist it seems to snap off target so emp is very useful with hipshot on any smg and shotgun for medium and small bots
just as easy taking extra damage on your weapon and throwing an emp cell, no reason you should be wasting your primary slot for something you can easily do without said augment
@KilroyPlays one of the many differences between our style is i dont throw that's 4 buttons instead of 2 i run with 2 weapons beside each and meds to the left and right anymore in my load out raises the risk of a misstap and die. I dont have a reload problem that would do my head in
90% of them are rubbish yeah, i could understand if they were rubbish but unique however half of them are just direct copies of experimental weapon abilities or experimental ammo's... shame really :(

Some weapon augments are dumb, "double mag size but TRIPLE recoil" the benefit does not outweigh the cost..... Its pretty simple to not use it lmfao rofl
tbh though most weapons in GZ have very little recoil so the additional 200% recoil on top of the zero recoil isnt going that be that bad if were being honest, its only noticeable on lmg's so the benefit is defs there its just if you can manage the recoil or not

so showdown was the last update for generation zero in general, they will be doing patches to fix bugs and what not but GZ is over

thats works! although the only issue with that is the grenade launchers dont do as much damage as the rlg-7 or grg 49 so keep that in mind also :)

yeah i never understood why the hunter isnt in that small fryer classification... because then it accounts for ever machine in game between titan toppler and small fyrer so i think they messed up on that one

if you dont have a backup save you'll need to start fresh, it's happened to a lot of us sadly

what is a HEAT rounds? Is this experimental? Like there 3 type: for components, for all, for armor
i explain what heat rounds are in the video :) go into your map then tab over to research and hit the ammo section you'll see all the experimental ammo types and what they do
Im playing on russian, so i dont understand, how it was translated. Experimental 5,56 is a HEAT rounds? Or its just a name for augmentation for 40% boost damage for components?
so augmentations and experiemntal ammo are two different things however some of the augments just do the same ability as exp ammo and exp weapons

I play very different style to you I'm on xbox play on normal because I have never adapted to the aim assist it seems to snap off target so emp is very useful with hipshot on any smg and shotgun for medium and small bots
just as easy taking extra damage on your weapon and throwing an emp cell, no reason you should be wasting your primary slot for something you can easily do without said augment
@KilroyPlays one of the many differences between our style is i dont throw that's 4 buttons instead of 2 i run with 2 weapons beside each and meds to the left and right anymore in my load out raises the risk of a misstap and die. I dont have a reload problem that would do my head in
your just missing out on good augments though sadly
There is a shotgun where you can just load 1 shot and shoot it was the sjö... something
its a handgun only augment though so that doesn't matter

I wish they added more augmentation some of them suck or just don't seem useful
90% of them are rubbish yeah, i could understand if they were rubbish but unique however half of them are just direct copies of experimental weapon abilities or experimental ammo's... shame really :(
@KilroyPlays it is I agree sometime the developers are sh*t at making things good in this game the follower kind of sucks only useful for storage and spotting most of the experimental ammo is a$$ some of the experimental weapons are a$$ as well and now the base defenses are sh*t and now crafting is even worse than it was before sometimes man it feels like the developers don't think when it comes to this game I tell ya I could go on but there would be a whole book for you to read if I did lol
nah crafting and base defences are awesome now, best update for BD's since they first got released

Some weapon augments are dumb, "double mag size but TRIPLE recoil" the benefit does not outweigh the cost..... Its pretty simple to not use it lmfao rofl
Also, adding ammo to the weapon should reduce recoil, due to more weight lmfao, should reduce run speed honestly
tbh though most weapons in GZ have very little recoil so the additional 200% recoil on top of the zero recoil isnt going that be that bad if were being honest, its only noticeable on lmg's so the benefit is defs there its just if you can manage the recoil or not
