Just to clarify... I understand the GZ devs have said that the difficulty doesn't impact drop rates but how the game plays is completely different in my opinion, how many of you have gotten extra loot from base defence's or got a weapon drop from a machine that shouldn't have dropped it... what they say and how they game plays are two VERY different things in generation zero. so believe what you will but i stand by what i said in this video.
I imagine someone has already answered this question by now, but I didn't see any comments mentioning it. The Granatgevär M/49 is a recoiless rifle because it has a rifled barrel which the rocket-propelled projectile engages with to make it spin to give it stability in flight. This is basically identical in function to your more standard rifles like the AL-76 or Pansarvärnsgevär 90. It just has a self-propelling bullet instead of a traditional "primer and charge" bullet. The open-back barrel allows the back-blast to vent behind the operator instead of into a bolt-face like a standard rifle, which allows it to fire without any significant recoil being imparted into the operator. However, the RLG-7 is actually NOT a recoiless rifle because the rocket propelled grenade is muzzle-loaded and does not have a rifled barrel, rather it is a smoothbore weapon and does not impart any spin stabilization to the projectile. It is still a "recoiless" weapon, but the term "launcher" is applied here. You could consider it a recoiless version of the G79 Grenade Launcher, but instead of the "primer and charge" the 40mm grenades use, the RLG-7's grenades are "rocket-propelled," or in this case "rocket-launched," which is how you get the L in RLG-7.
Two Issues. 1. Difficulty does NOT affect machine quality or loot drops. It DOES increase rival spawn rates and reaper chance. 2. DLC packs are on separate spawn table and do not affect normal drops. Both of have been confirmed by GZ devs.
i love the design of this game, but playing it on ps4 is an absolute hell. sometimes id turn towards a pack of hunters and my frames would actually just deepfry themselves lmao. great video. if i play this on ps5 or pc ill def be coming back.
Yeah I’m in the same boat😵💫 as soon as like more than 3 enemies are in the same area my ps4 starts screaming, and frames drop to like stop motion level
You can get it exp hammer from vulture, it isn’t exclusive the reaper. Used to be. The only exclusive is exp meusser from vulture. I have gotten it twice from vulture.
Got the “Meusser” experimental hunting rifle like my second vulture drop. I absolutely loved the gun after using it for a while but then I went to scrap a bunch of weapons for weapon parts and out of nowhere the stupid scraping system scrapped it and now I can’t get another one to drop. Every time I get the experimental hp5 I literally want to break something bc I know I’ll have to grind for 3 more hours to get another vulture….

Don't feel too bad. Since they put the EXP Meusser in the game I've destroyed 43 Vultures and haven't gotten one. I also haven't seen the Sjoqvist in anything over a 4 crown after 1100+ hours of playtime and hundreds of FNIX Tank kills and 73 Reaper kills. Edit: checked my Steam and I'm over 1100 hours now, not 800+. Time flies.
Another good way to get non DLC 3 crown + weapons is to complete the weekly challenges. Tick level gives 3 crown, hunter 4 crown and tank level 5 crown. Also attachments.
Thank you so much. I would love to see a video about modding weapons and which mods are best for each weapon. I highly recommend people wait on dlc weapons until you get all the 5 crowns la of the base weapons. I personally love the. At wad but I have gotten several dozen of them. Probably close to a hundred. Same thing with the com. I love both weapons but have 0
at-wad and the iron condor have a ridiculous spawn rate compared to other weapons which is a pain but also great cause your gonna need the weapon parts from them for augments, but yes i can do a weapon augment video :)
Not a guess because I counted, but not 100% sure, but it is high number. Great video will defiantly help with the grid and with what Bots to take out. Edit: i did have the number typed but then thought it be unfair so I've removed it
@@KilroyPlays i kind of figured that counting was of the table because you said to guess. and while I was counting you though me though a loop, because some times you'd say Crown almost out of know were, and other times you'd just skipped saying it, I think there was a part in the video were you we're going to say Crown, but you stopped your self and just said C, with that said It's crazy that you said it 220 times on the dot, although that's if my counting is correct.
Thank you for this guide! Does this also apply for the weapon attachments? As commented on your playthrough, I have a few things that I could not get to drop even after 150+ hours and farming the correct enemies. How do crates and such work? Can any attachment be in them? Are they influenced by location and threat level? What are good spots to farm? Should I just do a ton of base defenses in the Farmlands and the Forest, and hope that Apoc stuff spawns there (still not entirely sure of what threat actually does tbh)? Or rather go to Himfjäll? Maybe I should experiment with upping the difficulty despites the dev's statements; I've also noticed they seem to contradict themselves sometimes. Still, drop rates should be less skewed towards the DLC weapons, I think - but what can you do?

Currently, I don't have the Möller PP, Algstudsare, Sjöqvist, M/46 Kpist (plus 5c mag, this one I really want) and KVM 59. As for experimentals, I don't have the .44 Magnus, Algstudsare and KVM 89. What currently bugs me the most is only having multiple 3c mag extensions for the experimental KVM 59. I love to use that thing to fry the runners the reaper spawns. Admittedly, I've been having too much fun exploring everything and blowing up robots to bother much with things like weeklies - I should probably have done them sooner. That being said I've played on Adventurer most of the time, because, as I said, I'm more interested in exploration and running around shooting things than a combat challenge. Weirdly, for me, this game kind of scratches a similar itch as Skyrim does, where combat challenge was no focus for me, either. I'll bump it to Guerilla and see what happens. @KilroyPlays there's one thing I like to do in generation zero I thought of making a video on it to be honest I call it snowball gulag so you pretty much build your own gulag at any base you want can you turn gamer tags off then run around throwing snowballs at each other

(RPG) it fires shells that are in a sence..... a artillery shell. It is kinda a forgotten weapon platform and I think you would find learning of its history to be kinda cool if you love guns. Funny thing is I got an experimental sledge from the vulture. I guess what this means is that the exp meusser and sledge only drop from boss level rivals
so can any of the rivals drop any of the experiments or is it machine specific? Ive been playing for a while but im just now learning about the 6 crown weapons but the vids have definitely helped!!
the exp weapons drop from any rivals machine and its all rng not specific but i'd suggest grinding base assaults as there drop rates are way better than rivals in my opinion or at least a mixture of both :)
If your still wonder why rocket launchers ar called recoil less rifles this my take I don't know if it's true or not but it's probably because rpg stand for rocket propeld grenade and the system at which it fires from doesn't usually have any felt recoil again this my take I don't specifically know if it is true or not
This makes sense why the amount of various enemy types spawn so frequently and quickly during a fight. It makes the chances greater even death in return, unfortunately hahaha. Worth the fight though right?!
I had the same thing happen where the 6 crown sledge dropped from vulture. My guess is since the vulture was added they made it so both boss exclusive exp weapons could drop from either of the 2 bosses.
i get into a good habit of scraping and recycling everything and i tend to use the same loadout so i only need 3 ammo types really and as for equipment i tend not to use any so its just heals and a pair of binoculars
Nice video I had the complete wrong idea with the drop tables thinking to get a better weapon drop I just need to fight a higher tier of the same machine type that dropped the weapon I want, and it's not always the case, I'm just confused with the pitchfork you said on the video about hunters but displayed other machines on the screen ?
oh the gameplay is purely just background footage for the video g has nothing to do with the specific machine you need to farm, that would get very repetitive if i did it that way g :) so dont stress hunters still drop the pitchfork dw
Reasons I like the KVM 89 over the KVM 59: 5.56 is far more common and far more plentiful than 7.62. I will not lie 7.62 is a better round when it comes to damage but you won't always have ammo to fuel a weapon that takes 7.62.
or with the changes to ammo drops just have a 7.62 weapon in your inventory and machines will now drop it... theres no reason to use the 89 over the 59 sir :)
Does difficulty really effect loot pool?? I tried it in the past with little change unless this is a more recent thing, I've looked for info all over and it seems to either vary or not change anything, may have to try my luck and see what it is on max difficulty
gz devs and some people say it doesnt but in my experience it differed a bit, everything else in game is effected by difficulty so it doesnt make sense that drop rate would be any different.
sure thing but remember clothing isnt something you find its something make and the clothing designs are usually just from completing certain challenges :)
the lower damage ones (com-10, racs 12 ect) i use small fryer and hit and run and then for my pm-71 titan toppler with hit and run. i don't bother with most other augments as they don't fit my play style. what do you like using? :)

The annoying thing is that DLC weapons, at least some of them, have very very high drop rates compared to other weapons. I mean I consistently kill all kinds of machines and I've got no 5 crown S21 or some of the vanilla weapons, but I've had literally hundreds of 5 crown iron condors and dozens upon dozens of 5 crown miniguns.
since there are 38 weps id guess round 50 times you say crown. but the devs have admitted difficulty doesnt effect drops, if under lvl 20/25 they wont drop experimentals but thats bout the end of lvl and difficulty limits.
i know they say that but the game plays completely different in my opinion. as for how many times i say crown much more than 50, so far the closest guess was 192 i think
i keep mine on guerrilla much better drops for me, just as they said need to be lvl 25 for experimentals yet i had been getting them for years at lower lvl's from base assaults, gz plays differently for so many people g.

Good afternoon, im trying to find the info but i can, would appreciate some help...Im trying to get my experimentals, i got my region to 25 but after the first rival killed (i have 8 total all maxed in the region) it got back to 23! Do i have to keep killing them until they are all dead or go back to 25 and then kill another then back to 25 and repeat?
so region lvl/score has nothing to do with getting exp weapons, that only effects rival spawns. you need to be player lvl 25 for them to drop and the best places to find them are rivals and base assaults

yessir! :) they just increased the drop rates too so if your on next gen console of pc they should drop very easily for you. and if your having no luck with rivals, lvl 3 base assaults are another great way of getting them quickly

saying it is one thing but playing the game certainly seems to point in the direction of it does effect drop rates, next they'll tell you that difficulty doesn't determine the drops for base defences or how hard the machines are 🤣🤣
in all honestly 90% of all the issues this game has are on console and they seem to not really care about fixing anything for you guys so im not sure if i can really answer that question g. if you can get it on sale then 110% because this game is amazing but i'll leave that one up to you
So since i could get an exp weapon from base assaults at any level your tellin me i could be like level 1 or 18 and do a base assault and get a op weapon?
tbh it's a bit of a mixed bag this one because some people say you can some people said you can't, me personally I've always been able to get them below lvl 25, but like i said the likelihood of you at a lower lvl destroying a base assault is low, same with the reaper and vulture yet it can still drop. so just keep that in mind. and honestly exp weapons arent even that good anymore... augmented 5 crowns are where its at
Difficultly does not effect loot drops. I have asked the devs multiple times. And this is coming from someone who has all the 5 crown and 6 crown weapons and attachments. There is nothing I don’t have atleast 4 of. It is all determine on farming the right machines for the gun you want, and the RNG does its thing. If all you hunt is APOC and speznaz then you will rack up weapons quick. I did all of this on adventure mode and under 250 hours.
i'm going with its just you cause machine specific drops are a thing for everyone else :) but GZ is kinda broken and works differently for everyone so im not surprised
@ mine just completely disappeared. Had to restart the game a few times. Honestly I’m more upset about them not fixing the frame rot when you get near a battle between bots

titan toppler and whichever support class augment you like it has little effect
The only time i use the kvm 89 is with heat rounds to take out the reapers sheilds because it's fun to do

so can any of the rivals drop any of the experiments or is it machine specific? Ive been playing for a while but im just now learning about the 6 crown weapons but the vids have definitely helped!!
the exp weapons drop from any rivals machine and its all rng not specific but i'd suggest grinding base assaults as there drop rates are way better than rivals in my opinion or at least a mixture of both :)
I got a 5 Crown N16 off of a hard Drill defense today
you mean it dropped form a harvester? cause the only reward you get from base defences is the new mats
If your still wonder why rocket launchers ar called recoil less rifles this my take I don't know if it's true or not but it's probably because rpg stand for rocket propeld grenade and the system at which it fires from doesn't usually have any felt recoil again this my take I don't specifically know if it is true or not
someone else commented clarifying so dont stress, its called a recoilless rifle because the barrel of the weapon is literally rifled out

I had the same thing happen where the 6 crown sledge dropped from vulture. My guess is since the vulture was added they made it so both boss exclusive exp weapons could drop from either of the 2 bosses.
but the muesser is still only from the vulture which is very strange!

i get into a good habit of scraping and recycling everything and i tend to use the same loadout so i only need 3 ammo types really and as for equipment i tend not to use any so its just heals and a pair of binoculars
Nice video I had the complete wrong idea with the drop tables thinking to get a better weapon drop I just need to fight a higher tier of the same machine type that dropped the weapon I want, and it's not always the case, I'm just confused with the pitchfork you said on the video about hunters but displayed other machines on the screen ?
oh the gameplay is purely just background footage for the video g has nothing to do with the specific machine you need to farm, that would get very repetitive if i did it that way g :) so dont stress hunters still drop the pitchfork dw
Reasons I like the KVM 89 over the KVM 59:
5.56 is far more common and far more plentiful than 7.62. I will not lie 7.62 is a better round when it comes to damage but you won't always have ammo to fuel a weapon that takes 7.62.
or with the changes to ammo drops just have a 7.62 weapon in your inventory and machines will now drop it... theres no reason to use the 89 over the 59 sir :)

Does difficulty really effect loot pool?? I tried it in the past with little change unless this is a more recent thing, I've looked for info all over and it seems to either vary or not change anything, may have to try my luck and see what it is on max difficulty
gz devs and some people say it doesnt but in my experience it differed a bit, everything else in game is effected by difficulty so it doesnt make sense that drop rate would be any different.

sure thing but remember clothing isnt something you find its something make and the clothing designs are usually just from completing certain challenges :)

the lower damage ones (com-10, racs 12 ect) i use small fryer and hit and run and then for my pm-71 titan toppler with hit and run. i don't bother with most other augments as they don't fit my play style. what do you like using? :)

The annoying thing is that DLC weapons, at least some of them, have very very high drop rates compared to other weapons. I mean I consistently kill all kinds of machines and I've got no 5 crown S21 or some of the vanilla weapons, but I've had literally hundreds of 5 crown iron condors and dozens upon dozens of 5 crown miniguns.

i believe its the same across all difficulties
since there are 38 weps id guess round 50 times you say crown.
but the devs have admitted difficulty doesnt effect drops, if under lvl 20/25 they wont drop experimentals but thats bout the end of lvl and difficulty limits.
i know they say that but the game plays completely different in my opinion. as for how many times i say crown much more than 50, so far the closest guess was 192 i think

i keep mine on guerrilla much better drops for me, just as they said need to be lvl 25 for experimentals yet i had been getting them for years at lower lvl's from base assaults, gz plays differently for so many people g.
so I did a vulture a couple days ago and got the ag4. today I tried the vulture for a second time and got an.... another ag4.
should I scrap it for gun parts since I'm solo?
110% no point keeping the same exp gun, where as if it was 5 crown you keep keep it and use a different set of augments to try out you know? :)

so does region level affect rival drop rates
region lvl/score only effects the likelihood of a rival spawning in, so high region score/lvl = high chance a machine turns into a rival 🤙

Good afternoon, im trying to find the info but i can, would appreciate some help...Im trying to get my experimentals, i got my region to 25 but after the first rival killed (i have 8 total all maxed in the region) it got back to 23! Do i have to keep killing them until they are all dead or go back to 25 and then kill another then back to 25 and repeat?
so region lvl/score has nothing to do with getting exp weapons, that only effects rival spawns. you need to be player lvl 25 for them to drop and the best places to find them are rivals and base assaults

yessir! :) they just increased the drop rates too so if your on next gen console of pc they should drop very easily for you. and if your having no luck with rivals, lvl 3 base assaults are another great way of getting them quickly

Secondary question experimental or gold with augments better? I highly doubt experimental pvg has higher ranged damage than my 60% range damage augment my gold one has..Is experimental worth?
90% of the 5 crowns fully augmented are now better than the exp weapons yes. i personally only use the exp muesser on a regular basis.

The mods on the gz discord keep telling me that difficulty doesnt effect drops at all
saying it is one thing but playing the game certainly seems to point in the direction of it does effect drop rates, next they'll tell you that difficulty doesn't determine the drops for base defences or how hard the machines are 🤣🤣

in all honestly 90% of all the issues this game has are on console and they seem to not really care about fixing anything for you guys so im not sure if i can really answer that question g. if you can get it on sale then 110% because this game is amazing but i'll leave that one up to you

tbh it's a bit of a mixed bag this one because some people say you can some people said you can't, me personally I've always been able to get them below lvl 25, but like i said the likelihood of you at a lower lvl destroying a base assault is low, same with the reaper and vulture yet it can still drop. so just keep that in mind. and honestly exp weapons arent even that good anymore... augmented 5 crowns are where its at

Difficultly does not effect loot drops. I have asked the devs multiple times. And this is coming from someone who has all the 5 crown and 6 crown weapons and attachments. There is nothing I don’t have atleast 4 of. It is all determine on farming the right machines for the gun you want, and the RNG does its thing. If all you hunt is APOC and speznaz then you will rack up weapons quick. I did all of this on adventure mode and under 250 hours.

that they do, i think a lot of people just use them with emp rounds and switch to a weapon which honestly i see the appeal to that, so i might have to give it a go
