Gen Z is legit AF for any game. The Devs had open live streams that actually listened to their players. Once these few glitches get fixed it will be even better. Thanks for the vids, they have helped a lot. 🤘
I wasn't bothered by the hard focus of base defense but I am happy they balanced it out some. For new games grinding that much isn't fun. There should be options. Also I do agree with some things you said. Except the listening to the beta testers mainly. I am a software engineer and started as a tester. I have friends who were devs for EA and Disney and the SDLC (software development life cycle) is pretty standard for most software dev teams. That being said A tester's primary job is to make sure nothing is overly broken. They aren't given extended periods of time to test every little thing (regression testing). That is due to the deadlines, budgets, other projects and work. They also don't find all the problems that there may be, or give all the ideas on improving a game. Beta's are usually a small group. Well it is depending on the size of the company and the game. Given the company is winding down on this game it is good they listen to the majority of their players. That is what helps keep a game healthy and people wanting to come back to it. I get the frustration of people complaining but not everyone is gonna be happy. However if it is a larger majority of the community who is the customer. Saying this is an issue. It is good business to listen to them. You want your product to reach as many people as you can. It being regarded highly by most of your base is a way to help it spread to others. I do get the complaining it does suck. However despite that. I will say the dev team for Gen Z shows they really care about the community and listen. The interaction directly with their base has been awesome over the years. Better then most gaming companies. It is because they have listened this whole time that the game has been as great as it has. Compared to what it was in 2019. It is 10,000 times better and that is partly because they interacted with the community. In any case I enjoy your content and hope you feel better
gotta say having everything just increased on the materials will make everyone have a easier time grinding them regardless if said person complained or not, me...i don't care im just here to scrap machines into metal fireworks.
Good to know that the hotfix is out now, and that have addressed at least some of the concerns people had (rightfully or not). I'll try it out again soon.
Hell yeah I'm just happy we're getting more materials. Now it actually feels worth the grind. I never had a problem with the grind, I just thought it was bullshit on the amount you got back for materials. I get your opinion on the "lazy gamers" but for those of us who have a busy life outside of gaming, this makes it somewhat easier and less time consuming and I appreciate the devs for doing this.
I hate the new grind for phosphorus. I've never been able to get more than 2 phosphorus. The machines destroy the extractors in 6 hits! I like the resource gathering. I don't like the 6 hr grind to get 10 phosphorus for building a damned wall!
@@KilroyPlays I hope so. I really enjoy base defense. My main frustration is that my 500 hr save file has just up and disappeared. At least on that save game the grind wouldn't have been so frustrating.
Spends nearly 90% of the video COMPLAINING about how much the player base COMPLAINS, other 10% is a half arsed.....this has changed, this is now like this.......C'mon man😂😂

Phosphorus was the easiest to grind for though?? And now it’s even easier to
