that portrait of your mom is so beautiful??? i can't understand what i like so much about that photo but it really stood out to me. i love your work and i can't wait to see more of it!!
The passion in your videos really capture what makes analog photography so exciting. Every time I watch another video of yours, it inspires me to learn more and take more pics.
I know many before me already said it: That picture of your mum stands out! The light, the shadow in the back at the right, these flowers at the left, then her posture and everything... it is an awesome pic in every respect. So personal and also so perfect. I do like many of your other photos a lot as well !! And yes the "ordinary" things are those that absolutely stand out because they are so different wherever you happen to be.
Oh man I love to see you shoot in Belgium. I always find it hard to find 'photogenetic' places in my area (Aalst) but you just make (as you said) the ordinary look really nice, you can almost feel the pictures. It would be a dream come true to go and take pictures here with you one day although I only own one film camera haha. Love your work!
I grew up spending summers in wildwood as a kid. Awesome to see your take on all of these spots. I know the island like the back of my hand and could tell the exact location of all these photos. Very cool.
I just started doing 35mm film photography a couple weeks ago, and you have become one of my biggest inspirations as a beginner film photographer. Thank you Willem!!!
I love when you shoot during golden hour! The colors are so soft yet so vibrant and the shadows you can capture are amazing. The photo of the moped, the fudge store, and the photo of your mom are definitely my favorites! You're incredibly talented keep up the good work
Oh such a great content you make 🖤i really enjoy your videos, they kinda make me understand the beauty of details, colours, shapes, compositions... i love your love to photography
Your color grading is amazing! There's some character/vibe that presents itself that isn't so apparent but it just gives that kinda dreamy vintage feel. It's hard to explain but it looks awesome
No lie, I love watching your videos. Its awesome to see how your eye for interesting and unassuming compositions get better and better:) thanks for being a daily inspo!!
@Willem This is by far my most favorite video, so much hidden information within! I watched it twice back to back! 👊🏾 tell me more about exposing for the shadows. Thanks
I really enjoy this video and the style in which you produced it. The title that came to mind for me almost immediately was "...in process". Thank you for sharing and inspiring.--lt
CHAPOMMAT. Come, have a piece of my mind about these :D also - I really like the zen-like simplicity and calm beauty of your work. Thank you for what you do.
Hey man, I‘m curious about your developping progress. Do you send them to a lab for development or do you develop them by yourself? If yes how? And could you do a video about properly exposing film? Greetings from Switzerland 🙌🏼
i paused halfway to tell you that damn i really love your photography, im a portrait and fashion photographer and i prefer shooting people but there's just something about you shooting mundane locations and making it look exhibit worthy that's just so fucking amazing to me. i love your work sooo much.
two questions willem. 1. what lens(es) did you use in wildwood on the 4x5? the interior and mcdonalds shot look very wide. 2. what scanner was used for the wildwood shots? they look superb, the belgium ones too.
I think just stories would be a cool catchy name. Also i guess bc of it's irony or something. Great content -and superb photos- as always. Super wholesome/warm to watch. Best regards.
Nice photo’s. You make ordinary things look interesting. Since I discovered your channel I thought you had an uncommon name for an American. I guessed ‘ he must have ancestors in my country’, this video made it all clear. Thanks for you nice videos!
Love these type of videos, it’s really interesting to hear you talk about what goes on behind the scenes and your thought processes. Some beautiful photographs in this one again ✨
Weeks really go by super fast when thinking about whens the next episode, loved the pictures in this one, a bit further from what we usually see from You but still killin it
Hello great vlogs I love looking at these videos where you just talk about your day, it doesn't matter what you call it as long as you keep doing it it will eventually become a routine and part of you and your channel, and us of course just wait with anticipation for another video. Cheers!
i think you should name the series "Photo Philosophies " I've learned so much by watching your channel i think its a pretty fitting name. Side note i love your work, you've inspired me to dig up my fathers camera and get shooting, I've been working a lot with still photos but you've opened my eyes to model photography as well as different lenses to help refract light an in interesting way!
Mate you have the point that many other photographers does not have . "Its all about the light" ! ! ! Light = phos is the first word in the complex word Photography ! You have got exactly the meaning capturing phos, light !
Two of my favorite images from Wildwood are availble as prints (signed) via my webshop! If you are curious: www.willemverbeeck.com/print-shop
Do you actually put mayonnaise on your fries?

I think calling it daily or everyday it good and direct to show what you are doing! Keep up the amazing work
I love Wildwood. I used to vacation there every summer as a kid
I like that you use the same music in different videos. It gives them a nice continuity. I always think of the song at 2:55 as this channel's song.
Beautiful portrait of your mom. This video series is off to a great start 😀
