I had such a crush on Sally Field when I was a teenager. Other boys crushed on people like Cheryl Teigs and Farrah Fawcet, but I had a crush on Sally. There was something so genuine, sweet, and authentic about her...
This is one of the best interviews on Letterman. Sally is a gem and looked fabulous here, quite sexy . And she is so real, no BS nonsense like with so many of the elite actors of today.
She was 49 here. As someone north of 50 myself, I don't think of 49 as old... however, it's worth pointing out what a stunning and charming woman she is, if only to make it clear that 49 is NOT old at all. She's clearly a charmer without even trying.
@@leonardshevlin7260 I began a cross country drive (NYC to San Diego) just a few days after turning 47 in 2017. It was possibly the best time of my life.
One of America's early media sweethearts, going back to Gidget and The Flying Nun. Her acting range has been solid, showcased in such dramatic roles as Sybil and Norma Rae.
She is off the charts beautiful in this segment. Didn’t realize she was so tiny. Dave is a master at his craft. The “say no more” quip was perfect and looked like it embarrassed her a little bit but she’s a pro and just kept up. Awesome to see these 2 go back n forth. Lmao. But Sally Field, wow!
in '95 I would have been 29 (most of the year). If she had asked me out (I am and would have been too shy to ask her) I would have said "yes" in a heartbeat. She seems pretty great in every facet a person could want.
Always a favorite.... I remember going to basic training in 1974.,... and I got off the plane in LA for a layover and went outside to meet my great aunts who lived near there... and while I was waiting, there was this yellow Jaguar... brilliant yellow.. and I saw this pretty girl from a distance, move around the car and get into the drivers seat and make a u turn... @@Marcus_C51 I was gob smacked... She was just so beautiful in person and yes... that yellow Jag was like a star on a Christmas tree... She is still just as beautiful as she was then it seems...
@@drmorqWarrenProject Yes, she is what 70 now and still looks great! Wonderful personality, smart and funny too. I love pretty women in nice cars, my future girlfriend used to drive into our work parking lot in a tricked out green Pontiac Firebird. When we got together, she then cut her hair like it seems every woman I've ever been in a relationship with does (apparently I have still issues with that-ha ha) and then bought this yellow Chevy. I watched her in "Mrs doubtfire" and "Forrest Gump" growing up. Never thought the day would come when I found Forrest Gump's mom attractive, but hey she looks pretty damn good to my 23 year old eyes.
If you were a teen male in the ‘60’s watching the flying nun back in the day, she was your TV crush. Now you’re 60+, and she’s still the girl of your dreams. 😜😍🇨🇦
She really is beautiful and spirited, and seductive without trying. Even Dave is obviously enchanted. I can see why Burt Reynolds always considered her his best and most missed love.
@@Alpha-soixante No, there was some awkwardness at the beginning. Dave needed a minute to get his footing. The weather opening, repeating a question from their previous interview . . .
My God, I still think to this day she is one of the most beautiful women that has ever lived. Naturally beautiful. Not 50 pounds of make up beautiful. There is just something about her and her carefree, yet classy nature that is so appealing. She is 76 years old now and I’m in my mid 40s and I would date her in a heartbeat. She still looks incredible and it’s her personality that makes her so damn attractive.
As a kid I was in love with the flying nun - she was so beautiful - then I moved onto Jeanie and I did Dream of Jeannie - now older, both are such beautiful women - I guess as a kid I recognized natural beauty at an early age!
I saw her in An Eye For An Eye and I was totally floored. She said the "F" world to Joe Montenga when they were exchanging obscenities. I was traumatised. It was like hearing my grandmother say the "F" word. It just didn't seem right.
My GOD I love this woman...so cute, beautiful, smart, and talented...Gidget and Norma Rae and Edna Spalding all in one person. And on top of all that, she throws one MEAN snowball!
Wow, now I didn't watch a ton of her movies but I never remember Sally Fields being this hot. She is absolutely lovely. And almost 50 here according to others. Limitless money helps people age pretty well, but still. What a beautiful lady.
She has got IT....what is IT? Such a lovely woman, talented, witty, beautifull good looks, come on...I guess if ever have had the chance to meet her, I'd be just as excited as Dave..and she is honest no bs...so that's good!!
She was great in Norma Rae which a lot of people may or may not even remember and of course Smokey and the Bandit. It certainly helped that she was already famous having been in the TV series Flying Nun (1967-70) and before that Gidget (1965-66) both of which I used to watch reruns of as a kid 45+ years ago. Her politics?? Uh... I won't go there or hold that against her LOL. Phenomenal actress and was quite easy on the eyes..
Sally is the peak of Hollywood class. She is a national treasure.
Sally Field is such an incredibly beautiful woman.
True. Read her recent autobiography, some of the details of her life will disturb you. She's been through a lot
You think you got a shot?
She's got a real pair of getaway sticks on her.
Sally Field is one of those women who got better looking with age. For example, I think she was a lot prettier at 45 than when she was at 25.
Now now keep your tongue rolled up. 😂
This fantastic lady is in a different plateau, she glowed in this interview, incredibly smart and beautiful, Sally is timeless. 🌹
