My first concern is how little tension it applies to the tile. With a tool based system you can apply greater levels of pressure where needed. As with a wind down system. Whereas this system seems to have compromises to allow hand use.
Great video btw and well showcased.
was about to say this.. probabely for small tiles not a huge problem but for big tiles with alot of tention it can probabely not really force te tiles in position.
@@Mr.Hatchet_ Was thinking EXACTLY the same thing - small tiles good, big tiles not so much.
I use RLS without a tool and can get plenty of tension without a tool. However, I agree with this system it limits the ability to make adjustments and get a really tight fit.
Can you do a follow up video on these after they’ve been used on a couple of jobs please
Thanks
Man i absolutely love your channel, i have learned so much and tiled my own bathrooms thanks to you!
Thanks for the demonstration but I don’t think they would do well with a large floormat tile you’ll have to put four clips in 4 feet just my opinion
Bro you make my job more easy, the other day I bought the pika dry and worked perfect and now this thank you for your videos ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Enjoy watching all the new tools and products you find. You teach me so much.
Just wondering how my fingers will feel after tiling 250 sqft.
Idk about cheap, in bulk you can get double the Levtec spacers. Although they are cheaper than the nearly identical Tuscan clips.
Already exist Tuscan seamclip
Yup. Many years in.
So now I have to buy a whole new box of monster clips vs just the spacers after every job? Am I missing something here? Because I'm not seeing the logic here.
I kinda like the design of these but feel on large jobs they would actually be difficult to keep clamping because of hand fatigue, also they seem to be a bit more difficult to break out after.
I do believe that the Tuscan clips have been around longer and use the same style of leveling
The Tuscan are made with a thinner plastic
So how do you remove them when the tile adhesive has set?
Tucson leveling system had or has a product just like this. I used it a couple times years ago. Good video!!
Once again another awesome video. I don’t know if I’ll ever change the wedge system. Generally if I find something that works and works well I stick with it. Please keep the videos coming we do appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us. “FLIP”
Mix up a batch an put down a 1/2" notch beside a 3/8" notch an see if there is still lippage
He's got the test shirt!!! Yeeeaaa!! Will have to give these a try, I kinda like how they seem to use more of a downward push rather than the unwanted "lift to level" that seems to happen to a lot of beginners / DIY'ers I sell wedge kits to. (Even after explaining how to eliminate that issue most just don't get it, and should prob hire someone lol)
Would like to see this with staggered joints when running wood look tile
I'll try this. The other leveling system with yellow pieces that go in between the space separater. I kept getting movement. I dont know how.
Looks like a pretty good system, are they as good as the wedge types? Also are they any good for extreme lippage situations?
This system really impressed me. The clips lock in tight. I tried them out on dry plank tiles and it help 5 together enough to hold all up in the air.
Very nice thanks for keep updating new sistem looks easier and faster, I’m a tile installer I would like to try some of this sistem .
can't see them being cheaper than clip and wedge, wedges last a long time, then just buying clips aren't too expensive, also i recon after a day of closing those clips especially on a thick tile my fingers would be sore
Any idea how many times can reuse before they start breaking?
Wow! Nice innovation.
Feel like this removes a lot of the versatility of the T-Lock style system By Perfect level master. There is little pressure applied and runs the possibility of letting go while adjusting tiles. Where as a clipped together systems allows for multiple clipped tiles to move as one.
looks like a great product i would love to see these in real life situation👍
I'll be using them on upcoming projects! 👍
Tuscan clips, 1 piece also.(been out for years) pearl abrasive
I would like to have seen a little bit of what they look like after it has set up and you knocked them off
I will be using them on a shower and floor, video coming soon!
Would love to see a review of the new Makita LXT 18V 5” Tile saw.
What's that model number?
XCC01C
@@carlhensley1171 Thanks for the info! Found it on Tool Nut, that review will happen soon!
Damn, cant order them in Europe 😢
What was the name of those rescue clips you showed awhile back
Turn Buckle?
Excellent
Go Berg!
What if tile is cupped and you are installing a staggered joint
Nice vid Berg! How do these compare to the Tuscan seam clips?
I didn't know anything about Tuscan clips until now, maybe a comparison video might come soon..
System was created 8yrs ago
Tuscan clips
Two piece wedge is better as it applies more prest
Nice!
No reusable?,.
Who needs skilled labor anymore with tool's like these. Just go through the moschions
Great videos! Do you like the Monster Clips better than the Tuscan clips? Another question is we are installing a lot more of the 2'x4' tile. For the money, do you like the Montalit PS5 131PS over the RTC Razor Pro 52". Thank you for the great work
Just saw the previous comments about the Tuscan clips. Tuscan clips are faster to use than either Raimondi or Spin Doctor; we have used all 3 systems. If we run into a spot where we need extra pressure will throw in a Spin Doctor; of all 3 systems Spin Doctor is easiest and faster to get more pressure. With the number of jobs we run efficiency is really important; just our experience and system we have worked out and are comfortable with.
Top👍
Tuscan seam clips have been out forever.
Same thing.
Yep just went out to the garage to get their name off the box!
Yup just used them in my shower.
Tuscan Clips were the first
this is not the first one piece tile leveling system. Tuscan seam clip made some before monster clip
Good video. “First ever”……no. Tuscan have been around for years ( at least 5 to 7).
Still good video.
👍🏽👍🏽
👍👊👏
Not strong sistem
You don't even show how they remove once everything has set. I hate this video.
Just more plastic waste... just what the world needs right now.
There are better things u should be worrying about Karen leave this section to the WORKERS not staying at HOME.
Or better idea, come out with something better
@@SuperGeo213 HaHa Haha... good one, you were almost witty with that reply.
