@@vratyasvakyas6022 Ray has only lost range, but he can still sing pretty well within the range he's able to. If you wanna see a terrible example of deterioration, look no further than James Labrie

Steve, what a power house, executes those snare rolls and double kicks with ease! He always seems to be the forgotten member of the past Fates members to the fans. It's great seeing Bones up there too, 7 albums with the band, great bass player.
Bones! Ha - that is too funny. I was lucky enough to smoke one with him in his bedroom when a friend of mine brought me to his house to visit. They had just got done touring with Armored Saint who was my favorite band at the time (and is still up there!). He had a early copy of Delirious Nomad and we got to hear Guardian before it came out. I was blown away.
sounds awesome..meeting rock stars is always a rush at least for me..meeting Dio and Rob Halford I was all nervous and forgot to ask the questions about songs etc that i always wanted to ask them...Fates warning are one off the first progressive style metal bands that i was into ..
My first exposure to Fates Warning was the Silent Cries video on MTV. Loved the vocals, guitars, bass but what really caught my attention was the unique drumming. Steve definitely had his own personality behind the kit.
Un-be-lie-va-ble performance! I am stunned how John Arch and Steve Zimmerman while not being active for quite a long time still deliver so freakingly good!
Just when you think he can't go any higher....he fucking NAILS IT!! 3:55 to 4:05 possibly the best 10 seconds of music I have heard in 10 years or so....and I saw them at the hartford agora on this tour back in the 80's. This is just as good or better....so much respect to John for doing the work to get his voice back to this condition. It must have been tough.
Got my DVD set and vinyl pre-ordered. I would have NEVER foreseen Arch sounding this good EVER. Those vocals are hard AF to sing at any age. Notice nobody dares covering these songs.
Man back in the mid ‘80’s. In my mind this band could do no wrong. But when they got rid of John Arch, I could not believe it, I never could understand it. I looked for years for him in a new band. Never happened, but here he is, sounding great, better late than never.

Here you have this guy preforming this extremely hard song and hitting those high notes at the age of 56, and then you hear James LaBrie who's 4 years younger and can't hold a steady note to save his own life basically from when he was 35. John arch is amazing.
Arch has lost nothing. My first Fates album was No Exit. But then I bought Spectre & Guardian with my allowance & was completely blown away. Fuck, I wish I had pipes like that.

Nobody gives Steve Zimmerman enough credit on how much he meant for the sound of early Fates Warning. As far as I think, on Spectre-Awaken-No Exit. his playing is as original and special as Barriemore Barlow´s in Jethro Tull, Andrew McCulloch´s on the Fields-Lp or King Crimson´s Lizard also Mikkey Dee´s playing on Abigal-Them and Conspiracy...To name a few... His style looks a bit odd and awkward though, like he´s muscling through the set using only arms or something... Everybody changed appearance over the years but Jim Matheos looks almost the same?
OH FUCKING SHIT! I have heard this song live multiple times and always look forward to the "into the fire!!!!!!" lyric. I can't believe he still has it!
