    I am so glad you guys did this and please keep more tutorials coming… I’ve never been good at art and have always wanted to get better and I have with procreate but I feel like my biggest struggle is not being able to accurately put to paper what I’m thinking… with so many brushes and tools it can get a little overwhelming(definitely in a good way like a challenge I wanna complete)… if y’all could do an in-depth tutorial series on every little tool, brush, technique, etc. i feel like the novice users would appreciate it so much, I know I would

    For anyone struggling to make the original rings and the bleeding issue/little lines inside the rings, I finally tried just drawing the original ring with my finger vs. the pencil.. totally did the trick. After that, I was able to follow the instructions to fill in the gaps like she was showing without any issues. Hope that helps someone.

    • @clairearcher2549
      @clairearcher2549 Год назад +3

      Part of the solution for the little lines issue, is to make sure you that when you go to move the color into the shape you just made, you don't let up (pen or finger), and drag across the canvas Left and Right (usually right) until those little lines are filled. It happens just before the canvas wants to fill in its entirety. A way to check that it's full (and finish it if it's not), is to select the selection tool (deselect first if it's already lit), then use Automatic. Drag across shape to the right or to the left and you can adjust the fill.

    currently following along. Some things don't seem to work the way demonstrated. For instance, in the section about using the Selection tool to select the rings - it worked to tilt the rings, but once there, I cannot get it to select the 'inner ring". Nor can I get it to select the planet, after going to that layer, in order to go back to the rings layer and erase only what's behind the planet. I'm selecting exactly what is being demo'd, so I really don't understand why it's not working. I'm going to continue trying to follow along. If there's a reason for this behavior in the app, please advise. I have everything set the way the demo says.

    um automatic selection doesn't work on the individual rings for me😥

    7:51 I have gone through this 5 times. I can see line differentiation between the two merge lines. It’s not a solid ring after I color dropped. Then when I put the pink in it is pink in the center but has a ring attached to it of the other color. I have followed step by step and can’t get it all to be solid in their coordinates.

    I'm having trouble with the selection tool around 9:06 in the video. It doesn't work the same, so I'm not sure if there was an update, but it doesn't work that way for me.

      I'm stuck on this part. When I select the ring it doesn't highlight and I can't move just the ring. Did you solve this?
