Pretty much how every new subdivision in the US looks like. Developers can mow down entire forests as long as they replant the required amount of trees.
Davenport is that bad bro??? 😂😂😂 I like it but my son in law's parents moved from Kendall to Groveland and they love it so much and wonder why they didn't move before. I live in Miami and I'm dieing to move to central Florida!!!
I hate it when there is an actual forest and they just clear cut it and put in crap like this! Many (not enough) subdivisions actually do preserve some existing trees especially in parts if the South. This is just sad and depressing 😔.
I absolutely agree! It makes me angry when I see a small patch of woods that has been barely holding on, get cut down for a garbage house. These developers also build basically anywhere they want! For example, we had a car was be built on top of a scrap land area near the busiest road in the town, and next to that was woods. Those woods were mowed down for a house to built right next to the car wash! WHO WANTS TO LIVE NEXT TO A BUSY CAR WASH?!
@@Talonflamez developer greed plus taking pro business pseudo-libertarian ideology too far! They also get more money by selling the timber on the lot first and saving expenses of tree selection and later protecting trees during construction. Plus, a lot of it is I think actually anti nature sentiment too where buyers of new homes often don't want any mature trees, "because they're messy" etc. etc. Well, at least there's less pressure to cut down trees in mature neighborhood's then, especially as many of these neighborhoods are not planting any trees that will ever get big in the first place.
It is funny that people have different tastes in music, food,..body types,..movies,..cars,...weather,......geography......etc, etc,...but,..all want or are sold the EXACT SAME VANILLA dream house.
Mature trees? I live 10 minutes away from Davenport in and established neighborhood in Winter Haven. Been here almost 25 years in a home built in the 50's - Next door was a small empty lot with a magnificent oak... And then there were the tall palms on my property. Land gets sold to a builder/realtor - Within a year oak is gone... As are 3 of my palms: "Ooops! Sorry - didn't know they were yours!" Thieves, thugs and scammers then build a sterile cookie cutter home 7 foot away from mine! Almost looks like a bank is next door and we are closer than some roommates are! I've lived in Florida almost 50 years... What's happening from OVERBUILDING is reason I may finally ditch the state as well ---
sounds like a whole bunch of hating - what do you expect them to do? put up unique original homes? doubling or tripling in price - this was clermont 10-20yrs ago, its literally being built now, give it time for those trees to mature - I'd be very curious to see what you consider "a nice neighborhood" - or were you live
Eat when hungry ,hunt when hungry .One Whole foods store nearby could make a world of difference. Not 5 in one city. The city can employ citizens. Live modestly and within our means
I hate when people say "cookie cutter" like you expect them to make every single house unique. These are affordable and very nice stop hatin. If you want a forest and unique homes go live in the boonies im sure youll find some unique lookin run down shack.
So many new low to mid end exurban developments look like this... So ugly and sad. I predict this will be such a depressing declining area 30 years from now... 😀🤔😥

Not near all actually, but far far too many!
To be fair the most lush tree lined neighborhoods in 2022 often were clear cut when built
It looks like the setting of some sort of surrealist horror movie.
Your car banter is absolutely hilarious. Loved this video, Orlando Metro area has become completely dystopian.
Yay i get to comment first!!! Love you guys keep up the great work just started watching the other day and cant stop lol Much Love💜
I vacationed with my kids in Davenport back in 2007.......it was a couple gated communities and then their little old town.
"Dont sound like your upset with border crossing" lmfao😂
Got to stay on an old farm up there most of land sold off but still a farm house and trailers. Was very nice look at what it used to be like up there.

Reminds me of Lennar‘s Copperspring in Trinity, FL. Awful! So is the builder. Buyer beware!!!
Take a porta potty
