Glad to see this. I have to do this a couple times a year. I always say, the more you can go up with stuff (shelves and hanging on walls) the more floor real estate you free up and the bigger your shop feels.
This makes me want to clean up my shop. I did a complete 4 banger to 5.0 swap and you don’t realize how many tools, unused parts, boxes etc that you actually have left over.
Burger is such a badass stickin it out with you! The shop looks great and it makes me wanna clean my dads garage since I just finished up my 03 Mach 1 in there
@@BREW2LFOXBODY my mistake on my comment I am at the long block right now. I may have to pull the heads since I broke the two front intake bolts trying to get them out. Got to love those always freezing in there. The plan is a b cam and carbed with the cheapest intake and carb I can find on marketplace to keep with the cheap theme. I did drop some money on coil overs for the front and caster camber plates.

I just cleaned my shop last weekend. It's a huge task but it feels really good to have the space we spend a lot of time in looking nice and clean. Great video
Looks great. We did shelves & a couple metal storage cabinets (from Amazon). Then we got several plastic totes and filled with kid toys, car stereo stuff, tools, seasonal stuff etc & labeled each tote. This way it hides everything and makes it easy to find stuff. Also keeps contents dust free. Getting shit off the floor & having shelves is a game changer. I also hung the bicycles from the ceilings. All this stuff is great ways to maximum your space. Great video with some good ideas. 👍
This is something I got to do to my shop, I'm gonna have to take most everything out and build some more shelfs, to find my stuff, it's packed, 2 foxbody parts and 75 f100 parts, hopefully watching the transformation of of your shop cleaning video pushes me to get on mine

That would have drove my OCD crazy. I don't even like crap being on my work table. The only thing on that is the current project. Tools go back where they belong, car parts get thrown out if they're not usable and if usable, go on a shelf or a cabinet. Good job on the clean up, you can never have too many shelves.
Good timing on this video for me! I'm moving my shop to a bigger spot and I'm so excited to be able to do a reorganize. My current shop looks just like yours did and it's making my ocd twitch out lol. Can't wait to get a new clean feel to our work area. It's going to be great!!
Just did this to my shop 2 weeks ago and damned if I didn't find a box with my old GT40 tubular upper and lower I took off a few years back. Shop looks great ya'll.
I really enjoyed that. I need to add shelves to my garage particularly to hold wheels and tires to free up floor space. Also I spy some Caltracs cars 👀
What do you do about bugs, don't seem like you get very many mosquitos and June bugs in your garage around your lights, my garage at night has to be closed up here in Iowa lol
