Insane run Sandwiched between community development, runner performance, chat/ donation involvement, precise commentary, and overall viewer engagement this might be the GOAT for GDQ.
Truly a phenomenal run. Major props, Spicee. So many times you could have fumbled but didn't, and y'all peeps expounded upon what was happening very succinctly. I will use this as a guide for when I attempt a more casual professional run. So many of these events are unforgiving, and thus so many thanks!
I dont think this run will be very useful for casual play. While there is some general useful tips but mostly it's very precise strategies which work only on certain version of the game and if you make a mistake, you most likely will die. There is some good guide for casual play by Extriaa. I personally used it it's useful and the runner has an awesomely positive attitude. Recommend.

I think he got mistaken this room with separate ways Because in adas campaign there is a room that only has 1 garrador in assisted to hardcore but in professional there is 2

Sorry if this is a kind of softball question, but besides any new glitches that were introduced in the remake, are there large routing differences between this and the 2005 original? Are the overal times similar at all or is one drastically shorter than the other?
RE4 remake is in many party a very different game than the original. Sure, the overall story beats are the same, but it is, as the name says, a remake. Comparing the speedruns is basically comparing apples with oranges. Take it with a grain of salt, since I haven't seen an original RE4 speedrun in some time, but I highly doubt you can take a lot from the og to the remake. Comparing times on the speedrun website: Seems like the original is about 20 minutes faster on normal difficulty than the remake.
@@bischiboschi7335 To add to what you said, it's also important to keep in mind that the OG run's been run well over the course of a decade, so it's more optimized. You never know what crazy stuff they'll find in a few years and that could make this run half the length of the OG. Comparing the runs is still an apples and oranges case, I just thought I'd add to that lol

Almost all glitches have been fixed except for bomb clip/push through and typewriter turret skip. I'm not a speedrunner myself but I heard it from a speedrunner. No, you can't move when paused. Pausing makes it easier to get a headshot because when you pause you can clearly see if the shot will hit/what adjustments you need to make. Then unpause and shoot/aim. At least that's how I understood it.

I love the speed strats in this game but I DO gotta say I hate the pause-aiming tech. I understand how necessary it is due to the unpredictability of enemy animations in this game but god does it ever ruin the viewing experience.

It's a mechanic, yes. But there is a specific bug in that section that makes your difficulty way lower than casual unless you get hit.

I love how In RE2 leon had a knife that would break. and now in RE4 he learned from his mistakes and got a stronger knife that won't break

No, you can't move when paused. Pausing makes it easier to get a headshot because when you pause you can clearly see if the shot will hit/what adjustments you need to make. Then unpause and shoot/aim.
