Thanks for sharing. Very true, I entered Charity shop one day what I bought with 50 pounds, I would have spent over 150GBP in a regular shop. I maximize the sales too. I signed up to many newsletters from my favorite shops so I know when they are on sale 💃❤️ it really works Thanks again for sharing and I love your hair
Tip go to charity shop that are in high-brow areas, also for furniture, kitchen wears and so on. Even better how about getting them for free, register on neighbourhood watch and people just post what they don't need. Let them know and just pick up
Lovely video! For immigrants with children, you can save money on kids items too by joining groups like "Pass it on kids UK". On here there are loads of people giving away baby and kids items they no longer need; from clothes to baby cot, strollers etc. Some of these items can be new too. Also on saving on child care, consider coming together as a group and taking turns to baby sit each others kids for a few hours; especially if you have couple friends with same goals in same location. On transportation, if you don't have the luxury of leaving so near to work or unable to walk the 50 minutes like Ope did, you could consider sharing a ride too; here you and a few colleagues split pay the fare together. Some wont mind you paying a small proportion towards fuel for the car you will be sharing with them to work. If you are student, you can get the annual student discounts; check with your rail or bus service.
again,,, your videos are simple and very informative,,, i am also a nurse, a Filipino nurse who is working in UAE and now i will migrate in UK and i understand all your points regarding being smart when it comes to money handling. Just a word, we Filipinos also do "thrifting", but we call it "Paluwagan" 😀👍 God bless you sister. 🙏
Another brilliant video, well done! However, taking an Uber or ordering a taxi is never a money saving hack unless in an emergency or someone else is paying. The Public transport system is excellent and adequate. Leading me to my next point of avoiding the need to live in a remote area (if possible) if you do not drive, cutting out the need to spend so much on transportation. Also if you feel the need to our purchase a car, second hand is more cost effective. I’ll leave Opeyemi to deliver a video on that entire topic. Regarding food, besides being cheap, it’s just healthier for you to cook your own meals. Once again, excellent video!
Love your very practical advice from a down to earth point of view. These are things anyone can do ,but maybe not everyone thinks about. Different country, different ways. Thanks for telling us your insight.
Thank you for sharing. Please do a video on the process of migrating from Nigeria to the UK without using an agent. Just the highlights of the proper research, where to get those information etc.
Didn't know there was a thing like boot sales, thanks for the tip. I got a particular 'designer' sandals from a charity shop when I can to visit in 2019 for £5 and I'm still rocking it till date. I also got a lot of cloths from Primark for my daughter and she still wears most of them. All your points are very valid, well done dearie
Thank you Opeyemi for hearing these tips. They also helpful for those who have been in the UK for a long time ooo. I have discussed some of these issues on Channel. You are doing a great job. I have been binge watching your Videos since I can across your Channel.
Thanks for this video. Please where is best to stay together as a family with 2 kids while schooling, where there is job opportunity and cost of living is low? And please where do you live?
Hm…a loaded question without a straightforward answer. Do you live or plan to live in London or outside London? How old are your children? Where is your school? What’s your career specialty? This is a whole verbal conversation, to get a comprehensive picture.
@@funlolao planning to school in London. My kids are 5 and 2 years old. I am applying for mph. I am asking this question because I heard the cost of living in London is high. I want to know if there is/are other better places

Hi Lovely. I can’t categorically say whether people here like perfume oils or not as that would be a bias assumption. I can say I know some Nigerians do like them. Sorry, I can’t give definitive answer for this. However, if you are considering trying this as a business here in the UK, you can definitely start, people may not know what they like until they use it. Cheers🥰
Body shop does sell a range of body oils of which my favourite was ‘White Musk’. It’s also one of their best selling products. So if you can find a way to share samples with people, you may stir up interest.

Yes
I don't encourage buying clothing wears from Charity Shops unless unworn. This is because of spiritual reasons.
