@@everythinggrows thanks for answer, finally i went for the G3000 spiderfarmer and it looks amazing for now ! covering almost the whole surface of the tent it's very nice atm :)!
I just bought two sf4000s in Europe! Only problems with one of them: it turns on at any time since the first day of use (of course when it is supposed to be off). Therefore I have to unplug it every evening! Then several times I had spontaneous brightness fluctuations. I contacted them: I was sent through dozens of emails asking me if I had a programmer, if I was using it wisely, then they asked me for photos, videos (I told them that my explanations were clearer than photos) so they offered to replace the electrical box by having it changed by a professional at my home for 40 euros reimbursed by them (I challenge anyone to find an electrician at 40 euros); I refuse! Then they propose to change the ignition box. I refused too. I just bought two lamps for the equivalent of a salary, I don't want to tamper with them (that would become de facto second-hand quality right ?). So I requested a standard exchange! Since then, no answer ! So be careful; quality lamp for sure but after-sales service like "we do not care about your problem"...
@@everythinggrows sounds like 4 is too much for 5x5, the plants cant use the extra light after a certain point and you will just waste electricity with no gains
I’m not sure I find when I don’t have the dim button pressed it’s too hot but it doesn’t seem nearly as bright. My seedlings are growing but I’m not sure I’ll be using the button when they are bigger seems like a good options for seedlings and young plants tho.
SF4000 showed up dead. Rather then offer a replacement they said they would send me parts to repair. Not a fan of the company after that. Less money, more light, Viraspectra bar.
i always look at the PAR spread and how even the distribution is underneath...if you have 900 plus in the center and only around a low 200 around the edges of your 2x4 grow area, you can safely say the light plain sucks...as a note this company has horrible after service look at others
Well you got to no clue what ur talking about i have everyone of there lights my sf2000 is 3 years old been running 3 years I've never had light overheat or die nothing these lights work
Just bought this on your recommendation....looking forward to see how it does in my 4x2 ✌️😎
How much is the discount code worth? Im lookin into buyin these aswell 🤘😎🤘
@@danmang8712 Didn't use discount code....probably should of lol
Would this be a good one for a 4by 2 first time grow
Definitely
I got the previous version couple years ago and it’s been through many harvest and still going strong. Great light got 4x2
and now, 6 months later, what do you think?
new model looks great pushing out 220 watts! plus they have the supplemental uv+ir bars giving way over 250watts to work with
there is no uv and you prob dont even want it, it has 660 nm far red and 760 nm infrared
Is a timer a good thing to buy with this light?
yes absolutely
you always need a timer
What do you think its better? one of 480w for a 4X4 tent or 2 lights of 200w?
Two is better to distribute the light better.
I'd get 2 lights incase one brakes your out less money lol
Do you think it would be good for a 3x3 tent ? thanks in advance
Their pro model is better suited.

Always put a usb fan on the driver...stays cool
today I got my SF2000 lamp and replaced it with my old amazon china trash. wow, so bright. I hope, my little girls rewards me with biger buds
It's been 7 months, how did it go?
@@seanpenfold6993 fantastic, now have twice as big harvest as before. 2x4 box, 1 plant 260g dry

Yeah i think i'd take 2 of those b4 i grabed a sf4000, simply cause you can spead the light to fit the tent more! 🤷♂️❤️🔥
Completely agree. I have 3 now, probably gonna get a 4th and use that instead of a 700 watt in a 5x5

So growmies should we be running lights on dim setting 😢

Same….Into the third year and after ten auto harvests and still going strong, cannot comment on their customer service though
