Thank you this still works as of June 2nd 2024 and i also found out some things that might help with troubleshooting, I teied it with just turning off wifi and that just made the character selectiong not work, but with hotspot trick shown in video if followed to the T work perfect, before trying this empty the safehouse garages because if theres a car or 2 in it it makes both the car that was parked there and the hotspot glich car dissapear during the second to last step of changing camera and cheking if cars are still there, When glitching multiple cars in multiple safehouse garages u have to check on each garage on second to last step by running to the garages and opening the garage door and ealking away to it saves it in place (it took a while running from Franklins High end House to Michaels and to Aunt Denise house on foot since there are no cars and unable to Jump climb)because if u use menu it will cancel the glich and make the cars disapear, almost forgot the part when u press charcter select can also be done by just holding character select right after it starts to load when pressing Test 1st spawn point (hold and dont let got till it let you highlight franklin) it worked for me after loading holding chracter select then pressing O, but i found it easier just holding down button right after and it doesnt have to be as fast as possible it could it be held down mid loading.

just did this. for anyone wondering, yes it's working and you can use the cars such as armored kuruma, fib buffalo, insurgent etc... in director if you save the cars in your characters' garages.

You save the game with your phone every 2-5 seconds while driving

The first time I tried the capture before putting the cars in, the character got bugged, he was missing his arms and he had a Christmas hat
A similar thing happened to me. I was playing as a female with no feet.

@@cooper.32 Playstation 4. The dots can't be placed at first and then when I'm done, I have the cars, etc... They're gone. So it's patched for me. The video is useless for me. The glitch from back then on the Playstation 3 was much simpler and worked as it should.

I managed to get a vehicle (Oppressor MK ll) in Director Mode, but if you drive the vehicle then you get kicked off the vehicle (in Director Mode). It is not removed in director mode. You can get the cars in director mode, if you quick save every 2-5 seconds, while driving to the garage you can buy for 30K$
You can drive cars, released in and before the "Finance and Felony" update!

PS5 does not work! Xbox S/X may not work!
For this glitch you have to turn off the wifi on a cell phone and turn on mobile data and mobile hotspot! After that you have to connect your PC/PS4/PS5/Xbox to the mobile hotspot. If you have a LAN cable, use it, and unplug it if you need to turn off Mobile Hotspot!
You can also get the Bravado Verlierer for those who want a sports car 😉
How did you even get it in to director mode

Good news bud, if you use after hours vehicles or Below after hours vehicles, they will not disappear
No. Before "Be my Valentine" DLC. It was released 2 years before After Hours. If you can drive a car realeased after Be my Valentine (without mods), let my know.

the pegassi reaper worked for me on gta 5 story mode ps4 version, but the mk2 despawned for me
is there anybody who has successfully done this glitch on xbox one? if so, please let me know how it was done because the weird thing is, the part where i have to disconnect my xbox dont work because it stays online for a few seconds after i turn hotspot off

Thanks to this glitch, I can now use the FIB Buffalo in Director Mode and I have all of the police cars that are usable in Story Mode! Also thanks to another glitch to get the Transporter and Riot in the garage. I'm honestly surprised that this is the only video I found that actually works in 2023. And you are a small RUclipsr who seamed to have just started 2 years ago.

Question how do i get the snow vehicles on the capture? Theres also a police buffalo not showing up and ive seen it in game along with regular cop car and the Rancher also doesnt show regular, snow or cop versions
There are no snow vehicles in creatior. And the of police cars are in emergency tab

There’s code in place to prevent players from using DLC cars (post Finance & Felony) in story mode. Until the code can be bypassed, cars like the oppressor and deluxo are unusable. Can you use the police cars from the new dlc? They’ve been in the game for years, so despite the fact that they were just made buyable, you should be able to use them.
I think u can drive the unmarked one, but not the gauntlet
I only want the FIB Buffalo and the cars only disappear when I disconnect my internet and turn it back on. Is there any other way to get it on story mode? And also, if I turn on hotspot and connect it to my PS4. Network features won't work.
Did you save the first capture? Do you disconnect fast enough? There is no other way to get it in storymode
@@cooper.32 As I said, the hotspot has no network so I use my wifi, I disconnect it as fast as I can and I might haven't saved the first capture so that could be one reason

there's no way to switch characters when you are in testing mode im on xbox and every time i try it just brings up the test menu and not the switch screen, any way around this that i missed?
If you did something different than i show, then you can't switch. Try again and when you hold the switch button, press "B"

@@cooper.32I think it’s because his Nat type is type 3. It makes it impossible to play online with other players. My hotspot does the same thing.

It works, but it really does not satisfy me, because a lot of the interesting vehicles are not drivable. I would love to know if there is a glitch where you can actually drive these vehicles without disappearing. I'm on ps4 BTW.

It's WiFi from your cell phone. I put pictures in the video and it shouldn't look any different on your phone. But if you have a LAN cable, you can use that.

I tried for 3h to get in the garage to get it in director mode, but nothing did work. Pls dont waste your time, by trying. It will disappear if you take a towtruck, push it with an other car, cargobob,...

No. Vehicles that are in story mode dont disappear. So you can get police cars with different color and FIB Buffalo. But all online cars disappear.

@@that1guythatexists If you tow it or push it with a car, it disappears. But you can drive it to the 30k garage by getting in the car, and drive to the garage, but save every 2 seconds by the way. However, I recommend that when you do the glitch that you park the vehicle in Franklin's garage at his aunt's. This is the closest. But you cannot drive the vehicle in Director Mode. It doesn't disappear, but you will be thrown out of the vehicle.
@@that1guythatexists And yes, it saves in the Impound, but the garage glitch is best for that. (Empty the petrol, light it up and take a motorbike to the garage). But that's pointless

All cars stay, but you cant drive them. Idk what that car is, but cars that are aviable in storymode, you can drive, like the fib buffalo

I'm not sure what you mean. You need PS+ to do it, or you donwload GTA Save Editor. It works for ps4, but it requires a PC or laptop. Aaaaand you need Save Wizard (60$!)

So you do the garage glitch to store any car you do that then get the car that you got at Michaels house then as soon you get in you drive off then when you out if it don’t disappear save your game if It disappears reload that save then when you load in go the garage quick

You can drive vehicles released in and before the "Be my Valentine" DLC (Look at my pinned comment). You have to unplug the LAN cable
Don’t work on Xbox one because the hotspot won’t connect back without you leaving the game and going to settings 💀😂
Well, it's not my fault, but normally it should work if you reconnect the hotspot yourself. Or you buy a PS4 that connects automatically 😉

i use hotspot for this glitch and no i didnt that might have been why cos the first time i did it my internet cut out so when i logged back on i didnt save the first one..

Does not work on new gen consoles but you are able to spawn some cars into Franklins garage in the hills. I haven’t experimented with it but I’m sure you can find some way to cheese it

No. The cars always disappear when you get in them. You can only drive and customize cars released in or before the DLC "Finance and Felony"

@@cooper.32 I use a normal internet through PlayStation because hotspot doesn't have internet and I do it as quickly as PS4 can allow me to.

No. If you push it or tow it, it disappear. You need to save the game, Turn autosave off, get in the car and save every 2 seconds while driving to the garage. If something fails, you can reload the save
