Floor performed this cover in her home studio with her husband Hannes on camera. They're using one camera so a few takes are involved which are then spliced together in post to produce the multiple camera angles. Joost van der Broek is a friend of Floor's from her After Forever days and he is on piano. This is very much a home 'pandemic' production.
Floor has no problem projecting power while sitting down. There are a number of fancam videos on YT of her sitting down and singing during her solo performances.

Not only sitting down but sitting on a rocking chair which makes what she does here even more impressive. To sing this well one must have a stable core while seated, extremely difficult task with a rocking chair. Nice reaction, Mr. Music Addict, thank you. 🤘
Interesting that you think the vocal track was laid down with her sitting in that chair. That's not how music videos are usually done. Especially, ones with multiple camera edits.

Floor is Highly sensitive to the lyrics of the song and she “feels” the song. We “feel” the song with her.
Floor enjoys the songs that have a story to tell. She has mentioned that Shallow was not a song she would usually listen to but she sang it for Emma on Beste Zangers and showed us all another singing style in her vocal toolbox.

Floor has done this a couple of times before. This version is the most mature of them. Very powerful, but also quite vulnerable. The grand piano is provided by her long time friend and collaborator SIR Joost van den Broek (After forever, Ayreon). 😎👍

Floor has already let the cat out of the bag....
When she records a video she is actually singing the song.
As far as I can tell, she records the vocals as normal, but when she records the video, she's recording one more vocal track, so to speak.
She turns off main vocals and performs a take for the video.
She wouldn't dream of lip-syncing anything... not on her watch. Not her style.
She is as genuine as they come.

Videos by Floor (her pandemic covers) won't be blocked. They are not produced by a recording company. She most likely did not record this live although I have no doubt she could have. As a "Music Addict" you should know that this is NOT a Heart song. They did a cover of the original by I-10.

As always Greg, thanks for the wonderful reaction. Never be hesitant to speak your mind although, in my opinion, a really hot button with fans is when anyone does a comparison of their idol. You talk about not comparing it to the original by Heart. I guess you didn't realise that the Heart version was also a cover? The original was by i-ten in 1983, Heart covered it in 1987.
