I don't know what earlier videos you saw that Scott wasn't up front, but he was basically the group's leader in the early days (although NONE of them have ever taken credit for being leader). When they started on the TV show The Sing Off, Scott was actually listed as the lead singer (the show required every group to have a designated leader), even though Kirstie & Mitch took some leads on the show as well. As for Kirstie, yes, she was more of a background member in the early days, but ever since her 2018 stint on Broadway, she has emerged as more of a leader with the group, taking numerous lead vocals and writing a lot of original songs (she wrote or co-wrote more than half of the songs on their all-original The Lucky Ones album this year).
Mitch and Kirstin are the dynamic duo. They can make their voices sound almost exactly alike and are a real force when harmonizing with Scott. Scott now has his own dynamic duo with Matt, who can sing baritone perfectly with Scott. You now hear the Mitch/Kirstin duo and the Scott/Matt duo their more recent songs.
One of the very best of their performance for its unbelievable harmonies and embellishments that they put on it all while glorifying the main melody. So, so very good.
Another PTX video with a standout performance from Kirstin is SEASONS OF LOVE from the PBS 4th of July Special. It is on the Capital Concerts Channel, and does not seem to cause a lot of copyright issues for reactors.
It's been awhile! You should definitely react to the PTX version of The Prayer! Might be their best yet. The original was by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli.
Hi there! Check out their cover of Royals! I feel like the video shows Kevin off well and Mitch sings the lead for the entire song! Thanks for the reaction 😀
For someone doing a reaction to a group they obviously know very little about, you did a somewhat decent job. Homework is important, and Google is your friend.

Beautiful. Pentatonix doesn’t do covers. They do upgrades.

Kirstie, did a fantastic job. They all did, but I really loved Kirsties singing in this.

Recommend their Rather Be, Say Something, Shallow, Come Along, Thank You, and Seasons Of Love as televised last 4th of July.
😊
I recommend their video, Be my eyes with Kirsty singing. I heard she wrote it but not sure on that.
"I see that Mitch is in this one."

I support that!
I don't know if you had a chance to listen to Mitch's cover of Billie Eilish' song, " Your Power", but he did a phenomenal job!
This was going to be my recommendation as well! It's amazing!

PTX at their brilliant best. I wish they could do a soundtrack to a Disney movie. That would be something. Thanks for posting.
You should react to their new video, "The Prayer" . Mitch does the lead!!!! Vickie from SE Pa
For a song that showcases more of Scott and Kirsty take a look at their Havana cover!
Mitch is always in PTX videos. They are dressed to represent the different Lion King characters: Mitch is Zazu
Nice reaction! Kirstie and Mitch quite often harmonise and are sometimes nearly indistiguishable from one another
Take me to church....!

I think Mitch is supposed to be Zazu.. I think they’re all supposed to be Lion King characters. Have a great day 🌺
yes, Mitch is Zazu, Kirstie and Kevin and Simba and Nala, Matt and Scott are Timon and Puumba.
Yep Mitch would be in every PTX song/video....Avi's the only member that left the group. Without Mitchy's voice PTX would not be PTX.
