If George gets to impersonate everybody, everybody gets to impersonate George!
I, George Santos, came up with that idea.
@@JavierFernandez01 😂 😂 😂 I do believe he will say that if he sees it.
Santos impersonated a Repub. He's a Dem at ❤️
All of the Santos impersonations I've seen on late night TV this week has been great. Not sure who the comedian was on Kimmel, but Harvey Guillen was on Colbert, & they were both spectacular.
@@parkersteinmetz6937
Hysterical. Lovitz nailed it. So funny!
Glad he gave us an "It Stinks!" Dude's a legend.
And no one in the audience seemed to get the reference! 🤦
6h
ach ahem!!!!
Santos apparently wrote he hated this...Love it!!!
Who cares what Santos thinks. He deserves everything coming to him. The Republican party is a big joke anyway.
@@kimjeffries7165all these parties are a tragedy. There's no intelligence in either party
Oh, George Santos is definitely going to try and take credit for this brilliant skit.
how can he not, it's based on him
do we even know if he is a US citizen?
@@oldrrocr I don't think we know he is a US citizen. He should be made to prove it and if is not then he has to go.
He did write it.
Why wouldn't he? He wrote it, and also owns the building I heard.
Jon Lovitz needs do more of this. He is such great and funny actor
He's funny, but it's almost like it's not satire because that clown they put in congress would actually do all of this!
He used to do a compulsive liar on snl. You should look it up! 🤗
Except for by his fellow comedians, the man's talent is truly under-appreciated. Had his looks been better, he'd be more famous, too. Speaking of which: Given that, is it any surprise he was 1st-choice to voice Jay Sherman in "The Critic"?
He had to do something to get back on Hollywood's good side after getting semi black listed for talking smack about Obama
I always wondered what happened to him. Such a great talent, definitely one of the best on old SNL.
Half-expected to at one point hear him say "Yeah... that's the ticket!"😄
Good to see Jon Lovitz doing well. He's an absolute gem.
Ya if GEM is an acronym for gay elderly man who was never funny and it’s proof god doesn’t exist that he’s alive and Phil Hartman and norm Macdonald are dead
Yeah...that's the ticket.
When Scamtos was a kid, his mother told him he could be anyone he wanted to be. Turns out, identity theft is a crime.
Was that before his mother died three times?
He's one of YOURS. Be proud. He was a RINO and le. fty at ❤️
LMAO!
@@parkersteinmetz6937 Don't be ashamed, be proud to have the son of the first ever republican president as one of your congressmen.

The best!
Jon Lovitz invented George Santos.
Thank you Jimmy and team for arranging this priceless performance.
LEGEND
I was wondering if I was the only one who remembered the pathological liar character from the 1980s.
Unfortunately. Jon Lovitz didnt really invent the character, there are just people like this.
@@Nebulaoblivion
He invented the "Character" 🤗
Just because people like that exist, doesn't mean he's not a Character. Just ask Homer Simpson 😂

Tommy Flanagan ☺️
... yeah, that's the Ticket
This is the Jimmy Fallon I want to see more of. Not fake laughing at everything and being and just letting the comedy happen naturally
Jimmy Fallon seems like a nice guy. It sucks that he hams it up so much for this late night show. The fact the show continues on proves he doesn't have to, it'll do just fine either way.
No Santos....go away! Lol
yeah, good luck with that
Lovitz is always pure gold. LOVE that man.
The fact the audience didn’t laugh hysterically when he said “it stinks” tells me they’re way too young for this bit.
My thoughts exactly. Jay Sherman was a gem.
Agreed. I genuinely laughed out loud when he said that. I miss that show! 🤣🤣
Indeed, a lot of these things “tell me how old people are without telling me”!
Haha I just posted the same thing! A reference to The Critic was well placed
Not just age, though. The Critic had miserable ratings when it first aired
0:27 that groan! I fcuking lost it! How’s does Jon this with a straight face! Perfect.
Jon Lovitz absolutely knocked it out of the park with this one! Just hilarious 😂
yay! a Jon Lovitz appearance! Not a stretch for him - remember "Yeeeessss, that's the ticket" ?
I sure do! And he was "married" to Morgan Fairchild!
Indeed!
@@deborahwilson4684 yes!!
This could've easily been on SNL LMAO
Ikr, when he grabbed the mic, I really thought he was gonna say : "LIVE !!! From New York . . . It's Saturday Night.". 🤪
Well he’s in town 30 hours prior… we’ll see
Edit: ew, they went with a shitty Yang impression
Yeah... _that's_ the ticket!

New York, please come clean up your mess.
Jon Lovitz never fails to crack me up! Love that guy!
It's hard to parody George Santos because what he says is already crazier and more laughable than any skit.
Like, what are you gonna do LOL?
Truth is stranger than fiction.
You're right. You can't make this stuff up.
@@peryole just lie more😹
You're pretty much describing the whole Republican Party post-2000.
Oh my gosh the "it stinks" was absolutely a call back to The Critic and I'm dying.
Lovitz is great. I had the privilege of seeing his show live in Honolulu.
Jon was simply the best-ever PATHOLOGICAL LIAR! LOL! That was such a great character that he developed! Maybe Santos was inspired by him?
Santos Is Him 😂
... and you, and me, and ...
The Pathological Liars Club..
."in fact, I'm the PRESIDENT of that organization!" 🤣😂🤣😅
Fun fact: Lovitz debuted "The Liar" on this very program in 1985, months before he started on "Saturday Night."
Had to see it again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👏🏼🤣👏🏼👏🏼🤣🤣
I loved when he was on Friends as a food critic and Monica was making dinner for him. He came over totally high, dinner wasn’t ready, so he tried to eat taco shells. 😆
Tartlet? Tartlet? Tartlet?
Brilliant!
God I love Jon Lovitz!!! 🤣🤣🤣
best late night skit in ages - more of Mr. Lovitz please
Simply brilliant
This was perfect bc I remember Lovitz back in the day doing his "Liar" character on SNL
I was just talking about his SNL character to some people too young to have seen it--how Santos immediately reminded me of that! So glad to see some people making comments about Lovitz on SNL! This is how long ago it was--Lovitz would say he was married to Morgan Fairchild! Not too many people are.old enough to know who she was! Really enjoyed this! Kudos to Jimmy Fallon!
Jon Lovitz was George Santos before Santos was born! "Yeah... That's the ticket"
That would have been funny to deny being gay and being married to Morgan Fairchild. But, now I feel old.
I'm assuming that SNL owns trhe rights to Lovitz's Liar character.. because it would have been even more hilarious! I hope they have him back on SNL for a guest appearance.. it was great seeing him again. Lorne, I just HAVE to see Jon do Santos on SNL! Pleeeeeeeaaasse??
@@watong9232 Except the Tonight Show is produced by Lorne Michaels, so they should have had the rights to that character. I think it was a missed opportunity.
"I embellish , and on my hotdog's I put relish" 😂 so stupid
Good to see Jon Lovitz again. He is still as funny as ever!
he dropped the "it stinks!" line from The Critic! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
John Lovitz is amazing in every second.
Absolute perfection.
I was waiting for Lovitz to give his famous line: “yeah, that’s the ticket”.
TRUMP/SANTOS 2024
Yea, that's the ticket!
Haha I get that
Brilliant every word of it! Only John could pull this off in such a believable way. One of my favorite character actors when it comes to comedy
Just brilliant. The parody is more real, than the real person. I invented gravity, is the best line. I will find from now on, to get that in a conversation, just because.
Yeah, Jimmy's got a good social media team. People have been joking that someone should get Jon Lovitz to do his "Liar" character against this Santos thing for a while.
Damned if Jimmy didn't do it first! Love Jon's characters!
He even threw in a Critic, "It Stinks!" I guess the audience is too young now
Don't be surprised if you him on SNL.
Too bad someone other than jimmy was host. Dude stinks!
I was hoping for a bit more of the actual Tommy Flannigan character - "yeah, that's the ticket!" - but I'll take this!
That's because he's half FISH.........delish..ish....😄
I just learned I love Jon Lovitz’s singing voice.
Love how Lovitz was able to put in the "It Stinks!" from the Critic.
I kept waiting for Lovitz to say, Yeah that’s the ticket 🤪
I hope Jon Lovitz will come back to Saturday Night Live and perform this! He would slay this character on SNL. It was a brilliant performance!
Hello Kathie
How are you doing today?
They already have a Santos, and it was a big hit. But what I really want to see (a suggestion from one of my coworkers) is a Lovitz cameo on SNL where he reprises his old "Pathological Liar Tommy Flanagan" character. Yeah, that's the ticket... Seeing him and George Santos one-upping each other would be even better than seeing Lovitz as Santos.
@@ferallemur this needs to happen
@@ferallemur Yep, _that's_ the way to go. Flanagan and Santos in a lie-off. I think even Tommy would struggle against the Liemaster General.
It's basically a continuation of the recurring character he DID play back when he was on SNL. The character was called Tommy Flanagan, the pathological liar. He is so good at playing Santos because this bit is in that same wheelhouse with some minor tweaks. He's absolutely perfect for it and nailed it.
I've never laughed out so loud in my life!!!
This was hilarious!!!
Hello Juan

Also, if they’re taking random people at their word then they’re they are easily fooled on Election Day.

If they’re unable to figure out something so simple, can you imagine with the big important stuff?
"It stinks!" And the whole thing really Made me so happy

From the jump with him coming out to "Lies, Lies, Lies" I'm already DEAD 🤣🤣🤣
Hello Ella
How are you doing today?
I forget just how funny Lovitz really is. This was gold!
We know George Santos is a genius, because he did a little shout-out to "The Critic".
Deep cut!
2:10 the fact that that got some of the biggest laughs in a comedy sketch and that was something Santos actually said is pretty wild.
Ironically, “George Santos” is an impersonation of Jon as The Pathological Liar from 40 years ago.
The VERY FIRST person thought of when the George s. Story broke was John
“That’s my wife. Morgan Fairchild. Whom I’ve seen naked.”
@@itzel1735 😆 🤣 😂
“Hi, James. Thanks for fitting me in. Mmmmmm.”😂😂😂😂
The audience laughter, sounds like 1970s sitcom laugh track.
I had no idea George Santo sang so beautifully😢
Scantos has had 800 #1 hits since 1925!

"On my hot dog I put relish. I relish the embellish" OMG - I nearly shit my pants with how incredibly hilariously funny this was. Yeah, that’s the ticket!
A few days ago I said that George Santos reminded me of Jon Lovitz's character, the that's the ticket guy. I posted a video and stated that on Facebook. Now here he is having taken on the full character, I love it.
Super Kool;)
“It Stinks!!” Great callback from The Critic
THIS IS the best.
Brilliant! I've been calling George Santos the second coming of Tommy Flanagan for weeks now! ("Ask my wife...uh...Morgan Fairchild...Yeah...that's the ticket...")
Brilliant;)
To see Lovitz at a real serious role and admire his true talent at acting watch the first 20 or so minutes of the movie "Happiness". He actually is a great actor too!!! I love Jon in all that he does. Truly an underrated but very funny, talented man!!!
I'm certain he's a great serious actor; I'm not sure I want to see him in a serious role. It might ruin his persona for me.
Stop with the lame "underrated" ridiculous and overused comment. Heres how it works.,...people like some things and they don't like somethings. Just because you like it doesnt mean everyone else is wrong and therefore its "underrated". And the same with "overrated". I know youre probably a hack commenter who just copies popular trendy comments and repeats them hoping for likes to validate your life, but understand about "underrated/overrated" and what those really mean. Your own opinion doesnt make something more or less valid or "rated" at all. There is no "rating"
... just what people like and dont like. Its just a dumb concept and even dumber comment. Youre welcome
@@avidadolares you and your comment received a thumbs down. Even for you that is overrated.
CHAMPAGNE!
@@rileyking5924 it truly was brilliance on his part as an actor. From confusion, rejection, heartbroken on the verge of tears, to regaining composure, gaining confidence, putting the adversary in their proper place and willing to walk away with integrity intact. All in about 3-4 minutes.
