I realize that Bohm struggled last season when it mattered... however, he is a 280 lifetime hitter who makes good contact... it floors me that we want to give up on one of the few contact hitters we have so easily... granted, we do have his replacement waiting in the wings so if we could pull off a sell high moment then maybe but definitely wouldnt want to give him away...
I think the Phillies should ask teams asking for Bohm what they are willing to give up and start from there instead of going for really good players that he isn’t worth
If Dave thinks he can trade Bohm as the main piece in anything, he's nuts. Why didn't he offer more for Tucker or offer more for Miller? Nobody in their right mind is taking that deal.
The Phillies have obviously overvalued Bohm and let other teams know they didnt want him way too early in the process. And the Oakland A's aint the Miami Marlins anymore. And why is it the Phillies are always the franchise that never brings up their young players? Bring up Crawford, Miller & Painter and let em play. Cant be any worse than Rojas, Marsh, Stott
Sorry but what do you mean can’t be worse than stott? You do know he hit a grand slam against the marlins right? And he was robbed of a gold glove Dude might actually be cheating the way he plays defense like oml He’s my fav player and I won’t tolerate this disrespect
@@BlitzEditsBaseball I like Stott, but he had a below-average year. My point is that Id like to see some of the "star" minor leaguers come up earlier than the Phillies project them.....they cant hit worse than Marsh, Stott or Rojas did this past year
The Phillies are in an interesting predicament. They need to win now, however have so much talent a year away from joining the big club. Trade a few prospects for Robert's and keep Bohm. Sign one of the relievers set to leave in free agency and bring Painter up in the second half.
If we can trade Bohm for a younger guy, that hopefully plays 3rd base, I think it’s worth it. But I really feel like Bohm should get another year or few months in the regular season to prove if he still has it or not. If not, trade him or bring up someone from the minors. Just my opinion
No one on this team besides Harper scares anyone. They need another superstar bat or go all in on pitching n score 2 runs a game n lose like at least for games pitched by Wheeler.
I’m an Alec Bohm fan. Sure he fizzled out at the end of the season, but he carried the team pre All Star Game. Without him, I don’t believe they are in the post season. As an aside, no offense, I really like your show, but you need to move the mic away from your mouth a bit. You pop your P’s. It’s a condenser mic right. You don’t need to be so close.
Thanks Luke I appreciate the body of work you share with us daily. This is my go to for the Phillies scoop
Great work as always
The artifical Bohm market is very active
No better way to show you think a guy is at peak value then to call up every team trying to trade him

Couldn't agree more. They wait until the prospect is 26 yrs old. Crawford may win CF job this spring.
Yes it can be worse lmao

They made 2 decent pitching moves… they didn’t get Juan Soto

Man I hope we land Brent Rooker dude is underrated, I think he fits in very well here and will hit bombs at CBP

Getting rid of Bohm is only feasible IF they can sign someone for years, IMHO
Please don’t Trade Bohm. You’d have to be nuts to trade him.

They asked for the wrong A's player
Who replaced. Bohm and his. 97. RBIs. Phillies must spend to stay a top the division. Sign Bergman resign hoffman

How can you not trade Bohm for either Mason Miller or Kirby? Sign Bregman, trade for either of Miller, Kirby or Gilbert.
Maybe other players want him gone. His stats don't warrant getting rid of him this quickly.
No, he's a key cog to the younger guys. They love him.
He'll f'in love it in Sacramento lol.

Have the Phillies over valued Bohm?
Why Miller? Do they want to pay for Tommy John surgery?!
Team management can come out ten more times to say they’re not trading Bohm and this channel will still run with every dumb rumor.
