Can't do anything until after next year when some of the contracts start dropping off. Enjoy third place and possibly a wild card if they're lucky.

John told Dave to hold off. Things are not working out.

The Phillies will not sign any 'big splash' players for the foreseeable future. We are up against the 4th luxury tax of 300 million. Get used to it. Going over the 300 million luxuy tax would be too much of a penalty for the Phillies as a profit making business to bear.

Phillies fans have convinced themselves that they have a better roster than they actually do. They think Aaron "Career 3.70 era" Nola is a 1b starter to Wheeler's 1a. No one, absolutely no one, is scared of Nola. And their lineup is so easy to pitch to, or around.

There are too many bad contracts and poor choices. I hate to think we have to look at Nola and Turner as we move forward. Let's bring up the prospects and bust up the team now rather than suffer through another miserable season.

The over rated lousy. Philly. GM is responsible for the financial mess the Phillies are in. The outfield is bad. The bullpen is bad. The starting pitching has holes and is bad. So most likely the ticket sales .Philly. Merchandise sales will be bad.
