I’m pushing for Vladdy to get a huge extension from the Jays. More then any other player. Jays deserve to have to overpay or blow it and miss out on him entirely for how they screwed him over in 2019. They deserve what ever they get.. or don’t get
@ he was robbed from that mvp vladdy hit over 300 and his team made the playoffs that’s year in the AL East powerhouse..ohtani batted like 260 in a pathetic Al west
Solid point. The idea of paying a RFer like Tucker $450 million when he's closing on 30 by 2026, a 5-win corner guy... it's absurd. If you get 30 wins out of him he's close to a HOFer, but you've still made a preposterous overpay. It's only if inflation goes crazy that you're even likely to break even.
Fan of the game for 43 years here is a thought to keep teams together what if everyone is allowed to sign there best 2 players for whatever teams wish without consequences to tax penalties. I hate to see teams torn up what’s the point of developing players if the rich teams take then after 5 years. Yet who am I just someone who loves the game. ❤
I think it's possible that Ken and Scott are wrong here about Nolan Arenado. The Dodgers have been interested in Arenado for years. I am surprised you guys are buying this Max Muncy is our third baseman statement when Muncy is a much better option at second and they can move Gavin Lux with 2 more years of control before free agency.
Why would the Dodgers do a lateral trade move that is complicated. Arenado’s bat is on the decline, he’s not a good base runner. Lux has more years of control and Muncy’s deal is very team friendly. The only way I see this happening is if the Cards take a massive L and eat up the majority of the money. It would have to be an absolute steal for LA and Arenado would have to strong arm them by not opening up his clause for any other team but LA.
Incorrect. There are huge holes in Jr.'s resume. He wants to sell himself as a 6-7 win player but he's also been worth 2 wins, 4 wins, half a win, and 2 wins. If Toronto wants to pay him like a 6 win player before the year starts, he should jump at it.
Houston was a successful team in recent years is because they purposefully TANKED in an extensive period of time before their success so that they could get 1st round draft picks.
Kepler needs a righty platoon partner. Hope Weston Wilson can handle a full season in the big leagues. The Phils need a true right-handed basher, with big power...
Just because the Astros signed Christian Walker, it doesn't mean they can't flip Paredes to St Louis, alongside Pressly for Arenado and Jordan Walker...
i see zero chance of an extension for Vladdy Jr. the fact that the Jays waited to try and get it done and expressed more interest in signing guys like Ohtani and Soto over extending him, should be insulting to him.
Why don’t the Yankees go and sign Houston’s extra third base forget about 2017 the guy can play and he hits in the playoffs you watch judge is gonna come back and tear in the playoffs
I dont think Alex Bregman is a $200 Mil 7 year player. I don't think Christian Walker a lifetime 250 hitter who will start 2025 at age 34 is worth $60 Mil for 3 years. Wow what has MLB become? These salaries are insane! What is gonna happen when Yordan Alvarez becomes a Free Agent for Astros? I think the Soto signing has truly distorted the MLB FA salaries. I know lets get rid of the minor leagues because it is toooo expensive to keep up. What a crock of BS.
@@markbailly8627 I think when Boras finally retires, MLB owners will pop the champagne, just like I'm sure they did when Marvin Miller retired as the MLB Players Association leader.
Vladimir guerrero said himself that he would never play for the Yankees because they kicked him out the dugout when he was a kid just like they did to Griffey jr.
Stros just upgraded at 1b and 3b and judge is a playoff choke artist and Soto was their best hitter in the post season and he went to the Mets just lol and yall paid fried a 8 year deal lol. If the Stros sign a power bat at RF the Stros going back to the ws
Boras has gotten the contracts reaching unreasonable costs. Impossible for some teams to compete. Yankees, Dodgers and Mets will always be able to sign big name stars.
So refreshing to watch these AJless videos
Still, the guy with his hat on backwards, it's like watching the village idiot drool.

Maybe Arenado thinks he could always just go to the Angles and finish out his career at home if all else fails.
Where would he play? The Angels are tethered to Rendon

It's a great idea. Watching Pittsburgh, KC, Oakland et al serve as little more than a farm system for the big market teams is ugly.

No one in their right mind would sign an extension. Especially Vlady caliber

I still think the Astros traded Tucker away with the intention of pulling a Yankee - Chapman to the Cubs - then back as a free agent kind of deal.
Houston was a successful team in recent years is because they purposefully TANKED in an extensive period of time before their success so that they could get 1st round draft picks.
Baltimore too

Are the Astros going to sign an OF

Arenado, to the Dodgers, if he wants a ring, in the next decade.

Her Rosenthal off the air soul territory
I don’t see vladdy returning to Toronto
If the Jays offer him $500 million, I can’t see him leaving.
I would do the same thing if I was Houston owner. You don't want to come here? Sorry, not waiting to be your 5th choice. NEXT

No chance Vladdy re-signs. Bot with what Soto just got. He’s not worth that much but he’ll def test the FA market. He’d be crazy not to.
I need vladdy jr to know that the angels want a reunion. come to the west coast vladdy!
Obviously Mad 😤 Yankees didn't get a Mega Star at every position. Almost as bad as dodger fans 😅
Why don’t the Yankees go and sign Houston’s extra third base forget about 2017 the guy can play and he hits in the playoffs you watch judge is gonna come back and tear in the playoffs
He wants to play with the Mets and it's why the Mets didn't bring back Pete.
The 1B market is not very hot. They will bring him back but on a more team-friendly deal.
Ken has aged 100 yrs since leaving Bmore
Since nobody wants to go to SF for obvious reasons, maybe they should give Bauer a call.
Extension on Vlady? Lol..

YEP & Crazy Owners

$4-5M per WAR has been the rate for FA usually.
If he can maintain the gold glove defense at first and hit 20 homers. It’ll be a good contractb
By the third year of a Vlad Jr. contract extension he'll weigh around 350 lbs. I'm good.
Vlad already turned that amount down.
It’s insane how much Ken hates the jays
Vladdy to the redsox
and where is devers going to play in 2 or 3 years? Casas is also at first
@ trade casas ! Simple

Imo vlad it’s not worth 400 mil. He’s not consistent enough plus once he gets that contract. He’s gonna blow up and get Hella fat just watch.
